The kind of shop I’ve been looking for! Friendly and honest. Brought our vehicle there for an oil change after previous shop kept recommending additional service. Doug’s inspected and confirmed only one of the four additional items was necessary. It’s a great feeling to find places like this still exist.

I had a rear tire leak repaired at Kirkland Costco on my wife's 2008 Toyota Solara. I asked the tire technician at Costco to please check the rear brake for wear and let me know about how much wear was left on the brake. He said that it was still good but not by much, so shortly thereafter, I took the car over to Doug's ATR. That was around noon on a Tuesday. They said they would take care of it, though not right away as they were booked, but hopefully would get a chance to check it out later that afternoon. Sure enough, I got a call from them around 3:00 +/- that same day, confirming that the rear brakes were ready for a change, with no metal on metal, but were very close, about 1 millimeter they said. They gave me a quote of nearly $500 with labor, parts, tax and all, with getting the job done in the next one to two days. I got a call late the next morning, saying that the car was ready. I felt the service was speedy considering how busy they were with all the car lifts full. I have used DATR for my repairs for at least seven years now, maybe more and will continue to use them as needed in the future.

These guys are pretty much the most honest auto repair shop I've encountered in my life.
I went in with an EVAP leak on a Jeep Wrangler, which is a challenging issue (because of, frankly, physics) and they've been very helpful at a really self-aware price (i.e. they're competitive and don't over charge).
The real thing that is helpful is that they've helped me understand my car's systems-- which is important to me because I'm studying how to do basic repairs on it myself.

Tony and Josh are amazing communicators and efficient at what they do. They are great at explaining the problem and providing the steps on what needs to be done. This is the best experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. They are good people who do amazing work. I cannot recommend them enough. If you have any car repair needs these are the perfect people to contact!
