They did not balance the four new tires I bought to replace my old tires. This resulted in some very bad vibration and uneven wear on brand new tires.

So this is just a straight-up lie. I've bought tires from Discount Tires for over 20yrs and the one time I tried to invoke the "if you're ever not happy" promise I was offered nothing. Not even a free mount/balance or road hazard certificates. Their ad copy is worth exactly the ink it took to print it. "Maybe you could sell them on Craigslist" Yeah, maybe I start buying tires at $1K a set elsewhere.

Disappointing. Waste of time. A complete fraud. Facts:
1) Go to their home page forward slash "services" and at the bottom you will see, "RIM REPAIR AND REFINISHING." There are some details about REPAIR.
2) Clicking on "Learn more about rim repair and refinishing" will then take you to their home page /learn/rim-repair-refinishing, which is all about REPAIR.
3) Made an appt for a REPAIR.
4) Showed up and the clerk didn't know what I was talking about. The Manager said they were a wheel shop and specifically said, "We don't do repairs. We do replacement." We sell rims, not repair them.
Those are the FACTS. Left-hand says one thing and the right-hand says the opposite. What a complete waste of time.

My first time taking my car here. The service is good and they took a quick time to replace my tires. However, my wheel rim got damaged and the tire cap got missing as well. It's too bad :(

Got a nail puncture when come in for air check. Be careful when you drive in, there are apparently quite a few debris near the air check place.

I made an appointment to have 4 tires installed, but ended up waiting for over an hour. The next day, I noticed one of the sensors wasn't working, so I returned to the tire center first thing in the morning. They told me they would have to replace the sensor and charge me $68. It's disappointing that the sensor was working before and they didn't check it after the installation was complete.
Also they charged me a disposal fee of $ 12 and left the old tires in the trunk.

I have taken my car and/or wheels and tires to discount tire on Bothell Everett highway for years and never had any issues. I have now taken both of my cars to this location and have had issues every time. The first issue was an improper tire balance due to an uncalibrated machine. The second issue was that they scratched a brand new wheel (right out of the box) while installing new tires. The third one that sealed the deal was another scratch on ANOTHER new set of wheels.
I have now learned my lesson. The current employees do not seem to treat the customers vehicles with the same care they would treat their own. While the scratches are relatively small, it’s the principle of respecting other people’s possessions and doing quality work. I’ll be taking my car elsewhere and advise you do as well if you’re as picky as myself with your vehicles.
