I haven't found a more helpful, knowledgeable, or friendly all around pet store. We have dogs, geckos, a bearded dragon, and a bunny. They have multiple people who can help with any question. I've been going there now for almost 9 years.

Best pet shop in the area. Carries absolutely everything you need, quality feeder insects included. Plus they always have an amazing selection of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates!

My wife comes here for fish stuff mostly, and regarding the fish things have been really good! We bought some 3 years ago that have since bred and are still going strong. We ended up selling back a fancy finned pleco we had for 2 years and it was a very reasonable exchange. I always swing by the reptiles and they have a surprising amount of morphs, from corn snakes to ball pythons I'm always impressed at the availability of a morph for what seems like very reasonable prices. There are usually birds and way more mamalian creatures than most places (alas, most of these seem like food for snakes to me so I don't know details). I've probably never even looked at half the rest the store but it seems well stocked with a good variety of pet supplies, really wish I knew about it when I lived in Kirkland.

Great selection for beginners and intermediate pet owners and enthusiasts.
Aquarium selection is clean, well priced, and the staff are quite knowledgeable.
Mammals, birds, reptiles all have decent selection of food/treats/substrate etc. The animals look healthy and well-cared for.
Experts and experienced owners will find odds and ends that they need.

I started my mischief of pet rats with a trio from Denny's years ago and they've helped me add to it a few times since. There's an extensive selection of products, food and accessories for all sorts of pets, both common and exotic, and when sold out of particular items they have been willing to keep me on a call-list once restocked.
The crew here show an obvious love for all the pets they keep. Special thanks to Aela for making sure my two newest were well taken care of while they waited for a forever home

This is by far the worst pet store I have gone into. My partner and I went in on 6/2/24. The store itself looks very nice. Clean floors, neatly stocked shelves etc. When it came to the care of the animals though, was a whole other story. We first went into the fish section where we noticed multiple dead betta fish. (Photo added of one of the dead bettas). They had clearly been dead for at least several days to a week as there was a white film over them. A lot of the other tanks filtration systems either did not seem to be on or working. Some tanks were also severely covered in algae and clearly had not been cleaned for some time. The reptile tanks also looked very dirty. The hamster cages had a very strong odor to them indicating it must have been several days to a week since they had last been cleaned. Another upsetting thing is that they keep the rabbits and guinea pigs in these large glass enclosures with what looked like a homemade top made out of mesh and pool noodles. There are no kind of locks latches or signs telling people to not open them. We witnessed another customer open the top trying to pet a very clearly stressed rabbit. The rabbit was running around the enclosure trying to get away from him and seemed to be very afraid. I get being short staffed, but it seems to me that management or someone needs to step in and make sure these animals are properly cared for. It seems that they prioritize making sure the shelves are stocked versus the wellbeing of the animals in the store. This is extremely disappointing and upsetting for a privately owned pet store. I hope they significantly change or get shut down.
