Took our suburban in for a diagnosis. We knew that one sensor had failed because Midas had diagnosed it. However we had another issue - a problem that could have been the rear differential / abs braking system but unclear. The symptom was two rear sensors having issues. Lee Johnson made us pay a diagnosis fee for their service / time which we agreed to but then they didn't do a thorough diagnosis. In fact, they gave us a diagnosis report that stated the one failed sensor (knew that already) and they said that our rear differential had to be rebuilt. Here are quotes from their diagnosis report: "found a large coating of metal on the sensors which lead to some kind of problem in rear differential creating metal in oil". We pay 251.15 for a diagnosis and it says some kind of problem? They said we had to do a complete rear differential rebuild and quoted us $6000. Just for the record there are sometimes metal shavings in the rear differential. We took it to another repair shop and we discovered it was NOT the rear differential. It was the ABS computer module and two sensors that needed to be replaced. After $3000 we were set and on our way. They mis-diagnosed the problem, didn't provide a thorough analysis report. Their pricing is outrageous. A day or two after we left we received a survey and gave them a 1 star and said why and the service manager never called. They don't care about providing good service and they don't appear to have the mechanic diagnosis that they should have.

Got my truck washed yesterday. Friendly man at the pay booth, excellent pre-wash prep. End result was a nice clean truck. Awesome!

We spoke to Kyle on the phone about purchasing our vehicle asked what condition it was in gave details about a minor scratch, got a price that was good & drove an hour out of our way only to learn that our tires were not brand new and that would decrease offer either $1k or we could bring it back with new tires for the original offer price. Needless to say, a giant waste of time. They never were going to give us that original price & thought maybe we would just go for it. Going to Carmax tomorrow for a better price. Don't bother with these guys, waste of time and effort.

If I could give zero stars I would, the salesman DAVID was so rude. When we first got there he would only speak to my husband and even though I gave them MY ID for the test drive they tried to hand the keys over to MY HUSBAND. We said multiple times we were car shopping for me. Then he tried to tell me we couldn't look at a certain vehicle because we looked like we couldn't afford it apparently and to top it off he tried to explain to me how a push to start vehicle worked in such a condescending way when I didn't even ask nor needed the explaining. Do NOT come here they obviously has bad reviews for a reason

Bought two cars from here and the guys we worked with Gursh (Spelling?), Cole (Sales Manager), and the finance guy from Chicago lol were all top notch. They worked with us in working around our crazy schedule, negotiated in good faith and were very upfront and personable. I would buy again from these guys in a heartbeat!

It's a shame to accept a poor review over a fixable error on Kirkland's Lee Johnson Chevrolet's part. We requested that our license plates be sent to our home, it's in our car purchase paperwork. When contacting the Kirkland dealership, it was determined that they were there. No one contacted us. They said they could mail them but it could take 2 weeks. They refused to overnight them to us since we only had a few days left on our temporary license plate. Minimum 30 min drive one way there for us without traffic. A simple customer service fix to their accidental error costs this dealership any future business.

I bought a 2021 BOLT EV in 2021. I returned last week to buy another one and was treated to we want a $2000 fee plus $2500 down (this on a $30k car) and no idea when you will get it. That was after waiting in the showroom for 20 minutes to find someone. Don't go there they obviously do not value repeat business.

Bought a truck for my son, certified used. We live a ways away from the dealership and it took us five hours total round trip. The truck broke down on the highway. on the same day. We towed it to the nearest Chevy dealership. After talking with the salesman it was all on us to take care of the problem. We decided to return the truck and it was within 24 hours of the purchase. We are on week two with no refund of the money we put down. We have made every call to them with no response. Finally after three weeks of waiting and every excuse we got the money. I'll tell everyone to avoid this dealership.

I've been using Lee Johnson Chevrolet for 35 years and have recommended them to countless people. I've always been impressed by their honesty and how they stand behind their work. Sadly over the last 10 years I have seen policy changes and a drop in customer service. I was willing to pay dealer prices for good reliable service and quick appointments. But the quality of the service writers is not what it once was. I don't feel I can get candid answers from them any more. They no longer read service codes for free. Service specials listed on their web site are not honored unless you bring in a coupon. I was told that my old truck with a carburetor was too old and the young mechanics can't work on them any more. They told me to take it elsewhere. Sadly what once was a great dealership with great service and outstanding customer service has become just another dealer. Maybe this is just a sign of the times, as I've seen other business go this direction. But if I can't get exceptional service anymore, then I will try other shops until I find it.

Be aware, Lee Johnson Service is now charging 3% if you use your credit card. This can really add up for a service. I feel this is going to be a new trend!
