I have been going to this store for over 40 years and I have finally had it with their pharmacy. I called yesterday to find out when I could come in to get a prescription and was told after 10:00 am, fine I called at 11:20 to see if it was ready. Nope won't be available for at 45 minutes. When I had called yesterday, I told them I needed it the morning and this is not the first time this has occurred. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to Walgreens. I really have given this store too many chances to get their act together and it hasn't happened. It's really too bad because I did like this store.

This store has gone downhill since purchased by Rite Aid. Turn over is high, and some of the pharmacy staff is rude - it's so obvious they hate their jobs. Some Rx timelines are messed up, and there are sometimes errors. I suspect the management at this location is to blame. It's too bad as this used to be my preferred pharmacy. :(

Arrived with daughter at store 8:58pm, after rushing to arrive from totem lake..the door was locked and employee looked at us, I asked why is it closed, sign and website says open until 9pm… he says he closed the till and I’m fundmentally disappointed in the lack of customer service exhibited by staff. Thank you for letting my 5 year old cry all the way home. Well done. Manager of store pictured and aware of situation who refused to help or assist.

It is advisable to AVOID THIS PHARMACY as much as possible, particularly when a lady with a British accent and a guy with curly hair are working. They are highly disorganized and do not pay attention to your concerns. Despite promising to have your medication ready, you will have to wait for an extended period upon arrival. I had to make FOUR TRIPS to this pharmacy to get my prescription filled, which is unacceptable.

Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Twice they gave me the wrong prescription! Often I get a text saying my prescription is ready... it wasn't.My wife just picked up an inhaler. No instructions????Again, go ANYWHERE ELSE!!! There is NO WAY you're experience could be as bad!

Prescriptions are never ready when I go to pick them up (even when it has been a couple days after I called for the refill). I am ALWAYS told it’s going to be about 15 minutes. I am beginning to think this is a ploy to get everyone to shop for 15 minutes. It actually does the opposite. I have many times went up to get my prescriptions with other items to purchase in my hands and ended up walking out with just my prescriptions out of frustration. They also have many times tried to make me pay when I know I don’t have to and need to argue with the pharmacy to do their job and look up my current insurance. Overall always a horrible experience. If there was another pharmacy on top of the hill I would have switched a long time ago.

Surprised to read some of the recent reviews, I had a prescription sent here almost a year ago because of constant issues with Walgreens. The pharmacist Ive interacted with the most, Thuc, is fantastic. He’s followed up with doctors proactively when strength seemed off for our infant son, always gives context (take this with a probiotic), etc. I send everything here because of him.

This location has been going down hill for the last few years. Thought it had started getting better, but nope.I called asking if a Rx was ready, the pharmacists had a question and needed my new insurance, fine not a big deal. Then he said I will fill that now give me 30 min and then come by after that.I went to go get it, all the pharmacy cages are down and it's closed! Turns out now they close in the middle of the day for lunch. Who knew, maybe the person I talked to could have said that, or the company could send a txt or app message to regular customers so we know.I get 2 Rx there each month, each retail for just over $3,000. So we are talking over $70,000 a year. I'll be moving my prescriptions to a place that is open normal business hours.I also was not the only one wondering what was going on. My guess is this store shuts down in the next 12 months. Isn't the company tag line something about being a friendly local pharmacy? Not this one!

This place has gone waaaaaay downhill since Rite-Aid took over. The most aggravating thing for me is every time I try to get cash back they say they can't do it. Like the store doesn't have 20 bucks in cash. If you can't offer cash back then why even have an option on the card reader? Time to start using Ostroms for my prescriptions.

Once again the pharmacy messed up my Rx's. I've been coming to this neighborhood Bartells for years and over the past 2-3 yrs I've noticed added wait times, can't find my orders even though I received text messages that they were done, or they didn't have enough of the medication to entirely fill my order. Bye-bye Bartells hello Walgreens or CVS.

The pharmacy staff is slow. We set an appointment online for a flu shot, filled information as required right then so expected process to be quick as indicated in the website, got there on time, no line but still took 5 minutes for someone to attend to us and get our info.Then was informed 5-7 minutes later that our insurance does not cover flu shot in their store so we immediately reply we will pay out of pocket. It then took them another 10 minutes to confirm and get our credit card swiped, and then 5 minutes more to get the actual shot. Almost 30 minutes for an appointment with pre filled information done online.The pharmacists weren't very friendly and slow. There was no line and we still ended up wasting our 30 minutes of our time for a flu shot.Not coming back here for the pharmacy services for sure.The retail shop floor is good, wide enough aisles, well stocked shelves, brightly lit store. Interesting gift items that Bartells is known for. I would check it out again.
