I thought I’d try a new salon out, and based on reviews and Reddit posts this place seemed a good bet. Sadly, I was wrong. I went in with an exact idea of what I wanted with pictures of myself with my previous cut. I showed the picture to Zara and she proceeds to do something completely different, murmuring as she cut “I don’t know how you want to style it”. I’ve never felt anxious or dread while getting my hair cut, but I felt so uncomfortable here as she cut my hair and I was too afraid to ask her to stop as she was halfway through.
I would not recommend this salon.

I've been a loyal client of Shahab’s for almost two years now. His attention to detail is exceptional. He’s a true artist and he displays that in every single one of his cuts. He’s incredible when it comes to men’s cuts and fades. Highly recommended!!

Awful service. Had scheduled haircut back in November. The day of my haircut I get a call that my appt was cancelled. Then I call back to reschedule and speak with Shahab. Never got a call back. Called back today, got a call back that barber is going on vacation for a month. I'm new to Washington, and was looking for a new barber. I was told go to Shahab. Since November Shahab has cancelled or never call back. This Salon has terrible customer service and I'm not even a customer yet! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I've been going here for a few years and every time I go there they mess up or don't give me what I want. The last time I went here I asked for a little bit off the sides back and the top the person cutting my hair ended up giving me a front-to-back fade with really short hair in the front of my sides short and long in the back now it looks like I have a mullet the only thing they got right was the top long. If you make the trip to go down here you might as well go to the shop it is right next door and is probably cheaper that's where I'm going to get this monstrosity fixed

The hair stylist didn’t listen to my wife’s request , didn’t ask any questions and basically did her hair how she felt like it. Luckily my wife is beautiful and it looked good on her anyway. Music was loud and annoying. Availability was good. Parking is terrible here. There was no paid parking available in the back and we had to circle the area and wait for street parking to open up. The stylist also kept giving me dirty looks (she needs to grow up).

Unpredictable prices, unpredictable quality. Used to be great, not anymore. I called explicitly to know the price as I have a super simple short hair cut. They gave me a range of prices that differed by 25%. I confirmed on the phone that they can do it for the lower price given the simplicity and made an appointment. Showed up and they said that "this stylist" charges more. They lost my time that is way more expensive than the price difference and I hopped on the car and went somewhere else charging 33% lower than their lowest price.

I had a haircut with Regina and she did an amazing job. Thank you so much Regina for the amazing haircut. Prices are also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend 88 Kirkland salon.
