I was struggling to figure out all the exact hardware I needed to mount a pair of Recaro’s in my 911 when Dan saved the day. Not only did he know exactly what I needed off the top of his head but they had everything in stock and got an order shipped out to me the same morning I called. I’ve shopped at 425 in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Awesome folks here.

They installed headers and custom exhaust on a 1967 Ford Mustang for me and did a great job getting it to all fit up under the car with a 4-link and disconnectable sections to make servicing different parts of the drivetrain possible. I'm pleased with the end result! Looks very professional and practical.

Ordered a Recaro Pole Position seat, Recaro lower bar and Planted bracket from them in March. Online transaction was smooth and delivery met expectations. I put the seat into storage while waiting for time to install it, but ultimately life got in the way and I ended up selling the car. Since I no longer needed the seat, I sold it "as new" having never opened the (undamaged) original box (6 months after purchase). The person who bought it from me unpackaged the seat and discovered the outer lower bolster was damaged - a small cut on the leading edge, where your pant leg would rub every time you got in the seat. Understandably, he was upset and asked for retribution. I called 425 to ask if they were willing to stand behind the product and they said no, too much time had elapsed. They were unwilling to provide any type of retribution (cash, store credit, etc.), but they would "stitch up the seat if I wanted to bring it by". Being 1000+ miles away, that was not an option for me.
Long story short, inspect any product you buy from them within the 30 days. This might seem obvious to some people but when you are building a project or track car, you might not be able to use or test the part for weeks or months as you wait for other things to come together.

Cannot say enough good things about this shop! Big thank you to Dan and Paul for helping me get my first proper auto racing helmet and giving me the education that I needed to pick one out. I ended purchasing a Stilo from them because it fits my needs for different use cases in different countries that I travel to.
Add in the quality of customer service that you get (professional, friendly, and approachable), this is the only place in town for buying anything you'll need for motorsport! This shop genuinely lives up to what a locally-owned business should be.

Our 40 year old BMW325 had a broken sway bar mount. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the shop's team recommended several upgrades.
Juan said their shop can wield and repair broken sway bar mount. He pointed out a worn out steering rack and suggested replacement of original steering unit.
Further discussion with the Front office, Judson and Dan suggested a reinforcement kit for the sway bar, a HR-Cup kit which included new shocks, springs and replacement of worn tierods and bushings.
After the installation, the new suspension on the BMW is now 30% stiffer and feels like a new car. The car is road ready to take on the Seattle-Bellevue Area potholes in the freeways and roadways.
This repair shop can repair and build out a vehicle to fit your needs.
Wielded skid plates and roll bars for racing vehicles are their specialty.
The shop also specializies in sales of custom race seats, installing custom race seats and custom specialites.
Ordering parts takes a couple weeks and scheduling a vehicle for service can take another week depending on shop workload.
425 Motorsport's shop is organized,
clean and well lighted. We would recommend their inhouse shop repair to everyone.
Maybe someday we can afford a pair of their racing seats.

Wanted a new steering wheel for my autocross car and was overwhelmed by options, went to 425 and Judson was an amazing help walking me through all the options. I can be pretty indecisive as well, but never felt rushed or pressured or like I was annoying anyone. Super happy with my choice in the end too. Really great experience and the whole crew was nice and sociable, will definitely go back!

Bought a Stilo helmet and Hybrid S from these guys. Had to revisit the store to try out a different size. Both times, I arrived late close to closing times and stayed 20 minutes past. The guys here are super nice and helpful and I did not feel rushed at all.

Excellent service and willing to answer noob questions with a smile and a legitimate answer. Had the seat i wanted in stock, swiped the card and they loaded me up, reciept was in my email before i got to the car. Ill be back as i get more safety gear for track weekends.

After purchasing a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats from Vivid Racing, I learned that 425 Motorsport in Kirkland, WA (which was actually local to me) was the master distributor of Recaro (the Vivid order was actually being fulfilled by 425 Motorsport). So, if you are in the market, go to the source- 425 Motorsport and support local. Obviously, 425 Motorsports also ships all over the world. These guys have a complete shop, and showroom, filled with some amazing cars. It's a family business that cares about customer service and support. Super knowledgeable crew that highly supports the local performance and race industry. They do all kinds of custom fabrication, bolt on performance, and styling. Expect to be able to outfit your street or track car with quality product backed by industry experts. Can't say enough good things about these guys. You get what you pay for and leave satisfied. highly recommended!

Best in the NW, gracious and helpful staff with a wide selection of any safety gear you could need to get into motorsports. Always open to letting you try on helmets, race suits, and putting your butt in their countless bucket seats which means you get the gear and fitment you need the first time. Their fab work is also next to none from exhaust to cages - will be a lifelong customer!
