I only use the pharmacy here because it's close and has a drive up window. Over the years, I have had two pharmacists who have been really great. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. The kind of professionals that I want when someone is dealing with something that I'm going to ingest or use in our on my body. They have a young woman who is usually at the window, and she is awesome. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you are well taken care of. The biggest issue that I have with this pharmacy is that, for some reason, lately, their drive up window has been closed during their open hours. This issue makes it very difficult for those who may have a disability to be able to easily get their medicine. Other than that, I trust the pharmacy. And because it's easy access and the folks seem to know what they're doing, I won't go anywhere else. I'm very happy that this particular pharmacy in Kingston was not subject to the closures that happened around the country to Rite Aid.

unbelievably useless pharmacy staff. if in Kingston or Poulsbo, go to Safeway. I have had them fail to get prescriptions ready over half the times I have tried. they wait hours yo transfer to another pharmacy. this place should be out of business. I understand problems. but they don't let you know when there is one, and tell you things are ready when they are not. no communication and incorrect notice when you call them. its too late to use " Covid" as an excuse. these guys just do not care or are fishing for staff from the bottom of the barrel. Absolutely awful service.

Wehave used this pharmacy for 6 years. They have been rude, condescending, made countless errors, blamed us when they messed up and we are so frustrated with their lack of professionalism and horrible customer service. I have even had a personal call with the regional manager regarding these problem in the past. My most recent experience: 10/7-10/8 We have many of our meds on automatic refill. The meds filled and we got texts saying they were ready to be picked up. We have been very busy and couldn't get to the pharmacy in right away to pick them up. We received text alerts saying we needed to pick up the scripts or they would be returned. I used the link provided in the text to use pay and go so prepaid for all 6 prescriptions. On Saturday, we stopped by to pick them up on our way to a bday party. There was a sign in the drive thru that said the drive thru is closed because something is broken. It also said says comeback tomorrow or come inside. I walked in and could see the pharmacy had closed. It wasn't closed when we were in the drive thru reading the sign. On Sunday, I realized I forgot to pick them up and was coming from Poulsbo picking up groceries from Walmart . It was 5:48 PM. I checked hours and it said they close at 6. I drove to the drive thru as their sign said "come back tomorrow" so I hoped it was fixed. It wasn't so parked and walked in. It was 5:55 PM. I could see the gates to the pharmacy were closed. I asked a gal working at Rite Aid store (not the pharmacy ) if they always close early or if the hours changed. She said no, still open until 6 pm. She looked at her watch and saw it was 5:56 PM and said to go knock on the door. I proceeded back and 2 staff looked at me and just ignored me as I stood looking at them. I said "you guys close early" The older male pharmacy worker said condescendingly that according to his watch it was 6 pm. I said according to my phone it is 5:57 PM. He said I guess I will reopen for you. I said I already prepaid so just need to pick up scripts for myself and my husband. He thanked me for prepaying. He looked and came back and said I have nothing for you or your husband. I said I just paid for them on Friday. He said they were restocked. You will have to come back tomorrow After we refill them. I said I already paid for them ahead of time. He said those charges likely didn't go through. I said that the money is out of my account. He replied well you should have come earlier. I said I did but your drive thru is closed. He said earlier like 5 pm. I said but you don't close until 6 pm. He said well they were restocked earlier. I said since I paid, wasn't that an indication I was coming to get them. He didn't say anything. I said my husband needs his meds. He replied well hopefully he has enough left. I said no he doesn't have any left. That is why we have them refilled. He said comeback tomorrow and closed the gate. I went to my car and checked and the messages from the pharmacy said they would be restocked on October 10th if we didn't pick them up. Sunday was October 8! Not the 10th. I checked my bank account and the money for the scripts is out of my account. I then clicked on their text message and it said this order is paid and ready to be picked up. So they chose to put our scripts back after we paid for them, Still have our money, returned then 2 days ahead of time and have a broken drive thru and still close early. I recognize we came close to closing and were not super timely with pick up. But why not just give us a courtesy call to ask before putting them back Two days before they were supposed to be restocked. Plus we paid isn't that a sure sign we are coming to get them. One of my husbands meds is a blood pressure medicine. Another is for PTSD. Looks like it's time for a new pharmacy.

Terrible staff, uneducated, rude, and condescending to customers. I was also carded when I purchased Acetaminophen. I asked if there was alcohol in it (because I needed medicine without alcohol) he told me, "no we have to card you because it has this_______(as he points to the word Acetaminophen on the front of the package). I said "Acetaminophen? How old do you have to be to buy acetaminophen?" I then asked. I was told, 21 years old. Only in Kingston Rite Aid, quite cocky for being so ignorant. I am sure he meant products containing dextromethorphan and the age is 18 years old. Serious lack of education from the poor management of this store. How embarrassing!

Do not trust write Aid for Covid testing. We needed a Covid test for travel on a cruise within 72 hrs of departure. Had the test done at rite aid 72 hrs before departure. Was told it would take 12-24 hrs for results. It took 96 hrs. WE called Rite Aid and were told There is nothing they can do as they farm it out to a 3rd party lab. No phone number for the lab. Nothing. Missed cruise!!! Lost money!!!

Rite Aid pharmacy deserves 1 star. This past Thursday I saw a male doctor tell an old woman to "Hurry up" as she was walking to him because he had things to do. Very unprofessional.

What a waste of time. Went for a Covid test. They tell you will have your results in 2 to 4 days. Them when you call them on it they say 2 to 7 days. Total B. S. What they won't tell you is a person picks up the sample at the end of the day and ships it off to California. Then you have to set up an account and sign away your rights to some company in CA. You take the test in the morning and there it sits all day. Three and half days later still no results. You have lost a whole day while it sits there. So just how are you going to get your results in 2 days? If you are looking to cross the border and need a test with results within 72 hours don't use this worthless pharmacy. The pharmacist couldn't even tell me where they shipped the test to. Totally worthless store do your homework before you trust this pharmacy chain. Makes you wonder when the pharmacist doesn't even know where samples are going. Oh and by the way they have "lender" pharmacists that rotate in and out. Now doesn't that instill confidence? Honestly if I were you I would avoid all Rite aid pharmacys.

Im giving my Rite aid 5 stars because well I wrote an email and asked if they could pressure wash the outside and make it look nicer maybe even paint. We have ferry traffic that drives by 182 cars per 1/2 sometimes and I was embarrassed. Rite Aid took it a little further! Its all new INSIDE!! Floors shelving lighting products and a real nice checkout counter with lots of room! Plus they did pressure wash and paint. Even replaced a water rotten pole! Oh yes I noticed. So Thank You Rite aid . The people that work here are pretty fabulous too! Stop in and get what you need. Maybe something little xtra! Vitamins, lotions, drinks! Very convenient.

I won't be using this pharmacy again. What is the use of having a drive up window when prescriptions are never ready on time. Every time i've tried the drive-through, I've had to go into the store and wait longer even though prescription was called in an hour earlier and I thought I had given them plenty of time. So if you're needing to start anabiotic's right away you will be waiting 2+ hours to get them. And I feel terrible for people in pain having to wait. Perhaps they are understaffed and need to shell out some money for another pharmacist for better customer service.

Please do not use this pharmacy. Not only was the staff in the pharmacy rude, uncooperative, and uncaring, but the manager (didn't get her name but she was short, blonde and had a mean demeanor). I had been getting my prescriptions there because they have a drive thru but their poor customer service and rudeness is not worth it. Example: I have been on disability and had to go to rehab for 3 months. Meanwhile my bank reissued my card adding a chip and canceled the old card but I had moved over here and didn't get notified. I tried to pick up a prescription needed for my recovery but my card wouldn't work. I knew I had the money but didn't know what the bank had done. When I tried to talk with the pharmacist with the bank on the phone, he said I was holding up the line and called the manager over. Instead of taking me aside, she said in an extremely loud voice that the whole store could hear that my bankcard was denied. I was so embarrassed. When the bank said to use a check, she wouldn't take it because of my old address on it even though my driver's license had the current one. I couldn't get cash as my card was replaced and it was Sunday and closest bank was 30 minutes away. To top it off they were regularly out of some of my monthly prescriptions. Go across the street to Albertsons Savon and his team are awesome. They took my check with a smile.
