We've been here twice now and Marie the owner/worker has always been kind. Today, my son was rummaging through every section and we only bought a $2 trinket yet Marie was kind enough to offer him a complimentary beach glass/gem that made his day. We will always stop by here when in Kingston.

This store is alright, but the owner is pathetic.Came in and found 2 old zippo lighters i liked, each individually marked as $25. I bring them to the front, and the owner asks me how much each one costs (first sign she doesn’t know much about her own store). I tell her they’re $25 each. I pay. I leave. On the ferry ride, I just so happen to look back at a picture i took of all the lighters which i thought just looked cool. Upon a closer look, i see there was a sign saying the lighters were on sale for $10 each instead of $25 (the second sign that she doesn’t know what’s going on in her store because she charged me full price). At this point there is still no big issue, maybe she forgot or something. So i call, and this is where it just goes down hill.I explain to her my situation and she immediately tries to:1. Absolve herself from all blame, saying it’s the vendors that set the prices and what not and not her.2. Tries to blame me! Tells me i should’ve been looking at the sign and that i paid the “fair price” since that’s what i thought the price was(???)3. Lies to me and says there’s no way to refund me4. Plays the victim and says I’m verbally attacking her when i wasn’t by any means. So after 5-6 minutes of going back and forth with her about it being my fault and that there’s no way to refund me (even though i paid with a debit card on the very advanced iPad payment system) i just said I can write a review about my experience since she claims there’s nothing she can do. This is when it got interesting because suddenly she wants to “talk about it more, and see if it’s possible to refund me.”Over the next 10 minutes, she magically figured out that it is possible to refund me. While doing so she doesn’t forget to keep mentioning that it’s my fault.I never even got my refund.Long story short, the owner is just a privileged white lady who can’t seem to ever take accountability. You can tell because a month ago she was blowing leaves onto customers and blamed them for not moving (instead of her just doing it before or after busy hours). She was probably given money from her parents to start this shop, and just hires vendors to curate the items.Don’t go here. If you do, it’s on you to make sure you’re not overpaying. She doesn’t know what is going on in her store, and will just blame you and the vendors for anything that goes wrong. She will most likely reply to this review continuing to try to blame me.

Ok in all fairness I’ve never shopped here. However, I was at the crepe place next door and several tables were full of people plus me and 2 other people standing waiting for our crepes. And a woman comes out with a blower and starts just hosing us down with dust. The people with me in line and I all kinda looked at her and backed away. She didn’t acknowledge us turned and went back up the other way, came back down sprayed us again went up a little ways and came back down again. 3 times she sprayed us with dust including all the people eating, and anyone walking by. Did not stop, acknowledge us or anything. Seriously, I can appreciate a clean sidewalk but most people don’t continue to spray dirt, dust and leaves all over people standing right there.

This store is really cool! It's very fun, varied, and has all kinds of interesting knickknacks. It's only open for a couple of hours, and you have to park somewhere else or be waiting for the ferry, but it's extremely worth it!

It's closed all the time except for a couple days. I would have loved to have bought something, but I can't wait around 5 days. I watched from the coffee shop five different couple wanting to look around. I guess it's not really about selling... but just keeping the spot for their stuff.

Love, love, love their eccentric and unique vintage items! It's like getting lost in wonderland! Things that remind me of my childhood and treasures that I used to see my parents adore. Oh so many things that take me back to the joy of yesteryears! I can go on and on but if you like the same experience, you can just pay this amazing shop a little visit and have fun hunting for items that you will fall in love with.

They are currently only open 6 hours a week in two hours increments. I stood outside for 20 minutes waiting for them to open and had to walk away or miss my ferry because they did not open on time. If I were someone trying to sell my crafts here I'd be pissed. I fully don't understand how they afford to pay rent.

Great place! Bought an Aloe plant and Maria was very helpful and shared lots of info and helped me learn more about how to take care of my pants. They also have a record playing (on vinyl) all the time I was in.
