DO NOT USE THIS DELIVERY SERVICE!!After 3 delivery dates and very short cancelation notice we are still unable to get our merchandise delivered. Customer service does not answer the phone or return email and text requests. I have received emails that claim of phone calls but have had no calls or contact outside of random emails that are not true. This is definitely the most undesirable company I have ever encountered.

The two people who moved our things were nice and we thought did a good job. The lead of the two people told me that we had 90 days to make a claim for missing or damaged items. I made a claim within that time frame and the office manager sent me a form to fill out, never indicating that the 90-day deadline given to me by the driver was incorrect. Ultimately I was told to contact the insurer for an update on my claim. The insurer told me that I only had 24 hours to report loss. It is not possible to go through more than 20 boxes and examine each piece of furniture within 24 hours. So mover beware--they don't stand behind their representations.

Great Service! They showed up on time and were ready to go. Luther and Carl were professional and courteous. Highly recommended for any of your future moves!

Well thanks to Western Van and Storage I had a terrible experience. We moved from Seattle June 2022 and moved into our new house in Cathedral City in August 2022. They had absolutely no respect for our property. We had many broken and damaged items. They surrendered our property to a non affiliated company called Rainier Overseas Movers Inc. This was without our knowledge or permission. The total price guarantee we were originally promised meant absolutory nothing . We ended up with an extra charge of $3500.00 to get our furniture delivered. We even had some of our paperwork altered. As mentioned many broken and damaged items occurred. We even had a boot print on the back of an oil painting. Their insurance company finally paid up on the items we had insured. I had to threaten litigation before this occurred. DONT USE THIS COMPANY !!

Buyer beware: our experience with Western Van was absolutely unacceptable. A video tour guided our quote, which increased by $6k to $22k the day our home was loaded. Packing team left a mess behind and didn’t finish the job. The load out was co pelted efficiently, but between unloading at their storage facility and reloading into our new home, most of our furniture and a number of high-value items were damaged or destroyed. When filing a claim, Allied adjusters took 3 months and then undervalued most items and sent a check for their preferred amount. Over $6k in damage warranted only $3k paid out, despite a $60k insurance policy as part of our package. Do not do business with these people — they are careless, crooked and should be out of business. Shame on you Western Van and Allied. Bait-and-switch and service that isn’t worth the exorbitant high prices.

Run fast. Run far from this company. Took my elderly parents money 2400$ then sold the contract to western van lines. Who then was 2 hrs late, had a huge knock down fight at 11pm in my parents driveway with their hired help. Only took a 1/4 of the house then would not give a delivery date on when they would be at the new house. Once they did show up they tried to get double what was owed. When we refused the driver ran to the truck to leave. I was almost ran over by their semi truck. We had to get the sheriff's dept involved. They couldn't do anything due to its a contract case. A contract they never gave my parents. All these people did was talk over us, AND the police. The officers were absolutely disgusted with these people. We ended up paying double what was originally owed. We will be seeing both these company's in small claims court.

I have used Allied for two big moves over the last five years. One international, and one cross-country and I have nothing but good things to say about both experiences. My most recent cross-country with Western (via Allied) went seamlessly and the experience alleviated much of the stress that can come with such a significant change. They stayed true to the estimated quote, were incredibly punctual and arrived early and right in time, handled my items with great care and wrapped all of my more fragile items and furniture so well. They arrived at my destination at the early days of the time window provided and again, right on time and early morning. Michelle was very personable and paid great attention to detail. Still stunned at how quickly she can put furniture together without instructions! All of my items on the inventory list were accounted for and NOT ONE THING was damaged or broken even knowing my goods were transferred from small trucks to big trucks along the way. I felt like the whole crew really cared for and has a respect my stuff and my home. Would use Western and Allied again without a worry!

I worked with this company back in 2015 and they were great. As I come by nowand again to get weigh ins on my truck I reminisce all the great moves I did with them.

The team at Western Van & Storage were responsible for delivering our belongings to our new home. Dyllon, Markell and Adam braved a typical rainy Seattle day, spending hours moving our items up a steep driveway and into our house. They were great to work with, got everything done as we asked, with nothing broken or missing. A really professional crew - thank you!

We used them for a cross country move via Allied. They were 2 days outside of the delivery window and many of our furniture pieces were damaged in addition to several crushed or damaged boxes. They also lost all of our weight plates and dumbbells. They also had to handle/transfer our goods 3 times—which I’m sure contributed to the damages. Have yet to deal with the claims process. However, Alondra at the office was very nice and communicated well.

Don't Use This Company, in my career I've moved 12 times and to include moving overseas to third world countries, and this happened to be the worse move ever!!! The crew showed up late 3 days in a row and left early, they had floor coverings but they stay out side on the porch which resulted in mud being tracked on the carpet. The crew would just open a box, put a single piece of paper on the bottom and then just shoved stuff in, no wrapping, no concern if it would be damaged, then sealed the box. Even if you called them on it. I called the moving coordinator to complain, all you got was, "I'll let my supervisor know", the supervisor never called to see what happened. By the third day, one of the crew called the Mrs a "F***king B****H". I threw the crew out of the house. And called the coordinator AGAIN, "I'll let my supervisor know" AGAIN. When they left that day I became concern that i would never see our belongings again. The fourth day they sent 3 new movers, and two from the old crew. When our stuff arrived at our new place we had more damage then we ever experienced before. On top of that, a box that was not ours and labeled from another moving company showed up had drugs in it. I called the coordinator AGAIN, you'll never guess what her response was. I spent $48K on this move and i diffently did not get my monies worth. If i could give them a negative number i would

Western Van packed and moved our 3,000 sq ft house to our new house down the street, and they did it all in one day. They sent a crew of 5 but called in a 6th in the afternoon just to make sure all the work got done. They worked hard, had good attitudes even when there were the inevitable tricky parts of the move, and got the job done before our oldest kid needed to be picked up from daycare. Thanks again, Dyllon, Leslie, Jordan, Greg, Andrew, and Quan!

George competent estimator and Alondra excellent coordinator. Packers knowledgeable and efficient. Driver highly skilled but failed to adequately coordinate last leg of move. His assistant hard worker and took pride in job. Good communication provided but not read and followed all down the line. MTS auto shippers came through.

I guess it's the luck of the draw with this company. Some reviews are glowing and some, like mine, say STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! The crews at both end of our cross country move were pleasant, but the driver was rude and complained about everything. Then, the day of the unload, he shows up at my house, plops down in one of my chairs, and proceeds to tell me how sick he is (and, NO, he wasn't wearing a mask!). One of the crew at my new house asked if they should call out item numbers as they brought everything in. The driver told them not to bother, that it didn't matter. This turned out to be ironic when I later put in a claim for some missing items and was told that they would not compensate me for them because I didn't report them missing at move in. I asked them how I was supposed to know things were missing when I didn't get an accurate inventory? They never answered me. They destroyed more than one piece of furniture, poked holes in bookcases, bent things, lost things....it was the WORST experience ever! I put in a claim for the multiple damaged items. Their adjustor came out and verified that none were repairable. I received a response back from Allied that they would not reimburse me my requested amount on a couple of the items because my requested amount was "unsubstantiated". I sent them additional paperwork to explain how I had come to the requested amounts and asked them to please reconsider and to contact me if they would like to discuss it further. About a week and a half later, I got a check in the mail for the lower amount. No one ever responded to my request for reconsideration. This company cares very little about your possessions. They figure if they give you some money, they're off the hook. The problem is that my furniture (one of the pieces was a mid-century piece that can't be replaced) is gone. I also now only have 5 dining room chairs because they shattered the leg on one and it can't be fixed. The list goes on... If you have a sentimental attachment to any of your belongings, look for a different company!
