Tienda Los Vecinos is an authentic Mexican market and taco place. The food is very good, with many reviews highlighting the unbeatable flavor of the meats, especially the top-tier carne asada. The burritos and tacos are described as elite. They do not skimp on portions, offering good value for the price. The menu includes items like mulitas, rice, and beans, and the market side offers fresh, quality meat selection, homemade salsa, and real chicharron. However, experiences with customer service vary. Some find the employees very friendly and nice, while others report disappointing and rude service, particularly from one individual assumed to be the owner. Some customers feel the cashiers need to be more friendly and note a possible language barrier. The market items are also considered overpriced by some, seen as high-end compared to stores in nearby cities. The place itself is very tiny and can get crowded easily, so visiting early or after 2 pm is recommended to beat the lunch crowd. It is a lowkey spot for a fresh, authentic meal.
I bought a dozen expensive tamales for $42 and the tamales looked like they had been there for several days, dry, well, they were bad.

I bought some prepared food to cook at home and everything I bought was not good at all. The tamales were pretty pricey and not good because they used a lot of flour in the masa and it just tasted mostly like raw flour. The chicharron were so old and dried out that we threw them away.
