If I could leave 0 starts, I would. Missing items, they left items with us that weren't ours, broken furniture pieces, run-over boxes; they wouldn't unload until we signed that the load was fine, even though we hadn't seen anything. Said our ladder got left off the truck, but they couldn't find it later. Horrible service!!!!!!

Horrible Horrible Service!!! Not only did they never show up at the date and time agreed upon, when calling the office asking what was going on I was hung up on and no follow up. I will keep calling to get my deposit back, but needless to say everything has been terrible with this company.

Brought furniture on day promised but took 2 months to get it to me but with extensive damage and 30% missing. The original quote was with interstate and they subcontracted to GTS who subcontracted to Scout. Be very careful with all, personally I will never use them ever again. Did I mention the price doubled from the original quote???

I hired them in 2016, they gave me a quote and When they showed on the day of the move they jacked up the price when I had no option but to make the move and the crew leader was very rude. Quite few items on delivery were broken.I am planning the move again and just saw their name on google search and I think i should give them the review so customer be aware when choosing them

Horrible Experience They DESTROYED several of my items. Now that I'm trying to file an insurance claim, none of their published numbers work. I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. They charged me fees that I was told we're included in my quote too. What was supposed to cost me $3500, cost me $5800. They had my stuff on the truck BEFORE I was advised of any changes to the cost; clearly a tactic.

Still the worst moving company I've ever used and a total scam. But check out "United Moving" - i moved back to SF from Chicago and it was a flat fee, they did an amazing job and quickly replaced a headboard that had been slightly damaged. I hope someone sues Scout and wish I had.

Do not use this moving service, and if you're in the Vegas area Moving Pros US. MPUS uses these thieves to move customers from Seattle to Vegas. I was quoted a job price of $1500 to move. All I had was 7 boxes, king bed and frame, couch, a motorcycle, and 2 tool bags and miscellaneous items. After loading the bike onto the truck myself ( they couldn't figure out how to fit it on the lift gate. ) It was wrapped with 2 blankets and some cardboard it took 5 minutes. And they refused a stand for the bike that would have made it completely stable opting to lean it up against my mattress, telling me they would have to charge me extra because it took up more room. Huh??Mind you this is an expensive custom cruiser, their " foreman " comes up after loading and proceeds to tell me it would be an additional $900 + dollars for the extra packing material, labor, and special care for the motorcycle. Remember I asked twice if the price quoted included everything. Bait and switch much?? Insult to injury these crooks delivered my belongings 2 weeks later (I was told 3 to 5 days) every box was damaged and NO MOTORCYCLE! After several frantic phone calls my bike was located in Portland " in perfect condition " but as of this writing NO ONE can tell me when it will get to me in Vegas! These people don't give a rat's a** about their clients once the money is paid. I'm considering a class action lawsuit against both parties. Anyone with a similar nightmare story? Let me know.

I have moved quite alot in my day. I have never had such an unprofessional shoddy company in my life! first thing...the guy who chats with me about how much stuff I have decides which truck to send and he underestimated BIG time. The mover show up late and they have a tiny truck and another load to pick up after mine. They drop my stuff all over, cram it all in the back (hence all the damages later on) and take it to their warehouse for temp storage. The company they use for long distance delivery was a nightmare and they will get a yelp review also. In the end, there was alot of damage and they wouldn't PAY UP, said that they are not responsible as I packed up most boxes myself (don't most people)? and an entire box was missing and they said "too bad". The fees I was quoted initially ended up costing me three times as much, sly hidden fees all over the place. Never do business with these people, hire a pro!!

Lost items, damaged items, and late delivery. I guess the company is a good representation of the northwest; employees are rednecks, drug users, and non-English speaking foreigners

Very poor service! They are very dubious, hiding clauses in their agreement. They deliberately omit some of your items when sending you the docusign document. They don't do onsite evaluation but on the day of the move they will demand you pay a lot more because you have more items than they listed.

It was the worst service that I have had, lost items, damage and the answer was, I do not have any interest in talking to you.

An absolute nightmare. Do. Not. Hire. This. Company. Anything that can go wrong probably will. Deceitful and disrespectful with no regard for your time. My boyfriend moved from SF to Seattle, and found this company potentially under a different name (the contract says Yelp Moving & Storage and it may also be under Simply Moving, there's quite a few links on Ripoff Report - see links below). During our pick up, they increased the quote on the spot by $600 because it was "more than estimated" despite the fact that it indeed matched the quote. We were desperate and they were already in our home, so we reluctantly obliged. Already a red flag. The delivery window was incredibly vague, and it took them an entire month to inform us they were transporting our belongings. There was no communication whatsoever and no set timeframe. My boyfriend had to reach out numerous times just to get a pulse check on our delivery. After an entire month, my boyfriend was contacted by the driver who committed to a 2PM delivery on a Monday. Well, they arrived three hours late, well after 5PM, and my boyfriend essentially missed work a huge chunk of work for no reason at all. Red flag #2. It gets worse. They then demanded the total in cash even though it was never communicated (nor is it in the contract). The driver then threatened my boyfriend saying it would be an additional $500 fee to pay with card. My boyfriend requested he call his boss, Carlos, and read the contract out loud, which states "card accepted." They argued back and forth until Carlos unwillingly gave in. They then tried to run his card, which was apparently one digit off, and couldn't get a hold of the main office because *SURPRISE* it was closed because *they* arrived late. Due to the fact that they were unable / unwilling to take his card, they ended up threatening us with a fee of $500 to re-deliver and left with our things. My boyfriend contacted Tom via email who replied next day (because again, SURPRISE, no one was answering our calls) stating that it was a "slap in the face [for you] to be calling every day about delivery and when we show up you aren't ready" (see screenshot of email). Are you kidding me? First of all, it's YOUR fault for 1) refusing to take card even though the contract says card accepted and 2) arriving late so we're unable to reach you and 3) being vague about the delivery timeframe. Tom then ever-so-pleasantly tells us that he was finally able to charge the card, and charged it with the $500 fee for the inconvenience and to anticipate our belongings arriving Friday. Well, surprise to absolutely no one, the driver calls on Thursday instead, and tells my boyfriend he is delivering the items in two hours. TWO HOURS! My boyfriend then had to rush home from his work to accommodate THEIR schedule. If you're moving and seeking movers, please, please, please- I urge you to find a reputable company. With the headache, the questions, the hidden fees, it's not worth it whatsoever. You don't even save money. As others have mentioned, it costs just about the same, and you won't have to deal with such terrible people. With the stress of moving, worrying about your belongings is the last thing you need.
