Won't answer phone! Called four time over two days. Switching pharmacies!

I’ve been trying to get an EPI pen for my 4 year old for MONTHS. I switched to this pharmacy as my usual one had them on back order. After finally switching to Rite Aid (after they told me they have EPI pens) they suddenly are also on back order. I was told that I would be notified when they have them back in stock. I haven’t received a single follow up. Months later I’m calling again and they don’t answer. If they do answer, they don’t say a single word and just place you on hold expecting you to wait for who knows how long. If you don’t follow up every single day, don’t expect a single answer. I’m following up, again and again, still no answers. Please also note, I’m writing this review AS I’m on HOLD. Once I finally get this prescription, I’m sure they’ll be happy to know I won’t be back.

Lazy, arrogant pharmacists. If they pick your call then they put you on hold after picking up for 30 minutes for no reason. Many times they don't pick-up. When you visit to pharmacy then you will have to wait another 1 to 1.5 hours to get your medicine. The worst pharmacy I have ever been.

Three main problems at this pharmacy. 1. They’re never open on time, I pulled up to the drive thru at 9:02am and they’re not open and ready to serve. Where I come from if you’re supposed to be open at 9, you are open and ready at 9, not 9:10am. 2. Prescriptions that were put in two days ago not ready but will be later today? Someone’s dropping the ball. 3. Customer service needs improvement big time.
I recently read that some rite aid stores are closing, could this be one of them and that’s why all the problems? I mean seriously, almost 200 1 star reviews is not good for business and people are complaining about the same stuff. Rude customer service, not being open as supposed to be and prescriptions not there or not ready. What does it take to make things better. I’m certain at this point that attitude of store employees reflects attitude of leadership.

Rude employee not given Medicine as per my doctor already informed them but they say tell to doctor resend again.

This rite aid pharmacy is one of the worst I have utilized for my specialty prescriptions. They do not communicate to you when there is something wrong with your insurance preventing a refill. Sometimes it takes a week 7days) for them to get my medication in causing missed doses when I shouldn't be missing any. Transferred to a pharmacy that communicates often and early.

My local pharmacy did not have what I needed. I found it at this Rite Aid. When I went to the store the cashier was very friendly and processed me order quickly. I also interacted with the store manager and she was very helpful. Everyone in the store seemed happy and greeted me when I came in and said Have a nice day! when I left. What more could you ask for?

Update: Service got better, drive thru has been open. "Drive-thru" should not be advertised. Always a sign in the window "closed" during business hours? If you want to advertise as a drivethru -use it.

I have received excellent service since transferring to Rite-Aid when Bartel’s closed. Rite Aid continues to provide me with the best service and I appreciate them very much!!

Called as soon as time hit 9am for pharmacy to open. It took 27 minutes to speak with any person for them to tell me there was 3 people ahead of me. Terrible service. How the heck it that. I called at 9am on the dot. I should have been caller 1 or 2 but they can't seem to pick up their lines. They just let the phones ring
