i go here all the time and see the hamsters that arent social together, please do your research and know that they cant be together and could get aggressive to other hamsters

I dropped my pet off at 1pm and was told 2-3 hours. I also signed a paper for an amount of $105 and some change.. 5 1/2 hours later I get a call saying my pet is finished, upon entering the grooming area I was greeted by the stylist and told my 40-45 lb dog is classified as a large dog , not medium , although online when I made the appointment it classifies as a MEDIUM. I was told because of her breed and coat, she’s a large…? I was then presented with a paper trying to charge me almost $136 without getting a call saying I’d be getting charged that instead, although I signed and authorized for the $105 at drop off. Talked with the store manager Jason ( super friendly and helpful ) and he only charged me the $105. Upon entering the grooming area again after paying to grab my pet, the stylist tells me I should probably call and speak with the grooming manager next time in the most snobby attitude because she doesn’t do “large” dogs.. from the moment I left the salon, got my dog in my car, and drove home she was panting the ENTIRE time. When I got her inside my home, she drank at LEAST a half gallon of water almost as if nobody gave her any water during her FIVE AND A HALF hour visit. Safe to say I will never return to this location and most likely not use Petco grooming services again.

Todays experience was absolutely disappointing I come here very often for I shop for my 3 pets and live in the area and this is now the second occurrence Ive had regarding this employee who i think is somewhat new. Lasts time incident I got stared at and now regarding this issue I got treated differently by the somwhat short female individual with brown hair who wears one braid. And I know that to be a fact for the other two previous customers literally right before me got treated with high enthusiastic energy. I'm not sure what the issue is with me but with the upmost disappointment I do feel targeted especially with having to deal with sterotypes my whole life just by being a young mixed minority who's also apart of the LGBTQ community. Today I did not feel the mission/ value of petco was projected by that specific employee. I've never had issues with any other employee as long as I been coming here nor have felt like I needed to write up such a review

I chose curbside pickup because I’m 8 months pregnant and can’t lift a 28lb bag of dog kibble. I used the app to alert the store that I’m here. I waited but no one came out. I went inside and the employee basically tried to hand the kibble to me to take out on my own… I told him I’m pregnant that’s why I chose curbside pick up for help. He helped me take it to my car and told me next time I should call the store to let them know I’m there, the app doesn’t work and customers can sit all day waiting and the employees inside won’t know. I don’t understand how I can order stuff for store pick up on the app but the app cannot notify the store that I’m here to pick it up???

Stood in the tiny grooming lobby for quite a while without any acknowledgement from the groomers inside grooming area, which has huge glass windows so they could definitely see me. Eventually left and came back another time. Same thing happened again, waited forever for someone to acknowledge me waiting there. I was just there for a quick nail trim, which they advised as a walk in service, and I couldn’t make an appointment because the website doesn’t allow you to book appointments if you have multiple dogs, which I do. They say you should call if you want to get your dogs in together for back to back appointments, but they never answer the phone when you call so I decided to just walk in. Eventually when they did get their nails done, I was informed afterward that both of them had their nails trimmed too short and had several nails bleed. My girls hate getting their nails done anyway and this traumatic experience didn’t help.

My dog had an appointment today at Petco . I got their on time and when I check in with Nikki S the person I had the grooming appointment with she immediately didn't want to take my dog just because she has a lot of knots on her hair . I don't understand what the problem is if I have took my dog to Petsmart and they never had any issue with cutting my dogs hair even if she had a lot of knots . This person was very rude and unprofessional. I don't know how they have people working at the grooming in Petco and with no professional experience in grooming .

This store has theeeee worst employees... I asked if they had something particular and the person stood there and said well I don't know. Then walked away. The store is very unorganized and not much on the shelves. Go to REBER RANCH INSTEAD!

0 stars if I could. The manager is not welcoming at all I was asking for help on getting a fish and the manager didn’t even say a word and the person who attended us refused to sell me a fish. Literally said it in those words I will not sell you a fish unless you buy 200 dls worth of products and just kept repeating that. After we got all the products they said we NEEDED TO BUY they said we also would not be able to take the fish and they would not sell it to us. Not sure if they are being discriminatory or what but I will never be coming back to this location ever again.
