awful customer service they need to actually train their front desk employees for proper phone Etiquette and decorum. They canceled on me then rescheduled then their online form did not seem to work. I called and then that also didnt seem to help. During the phone call a lot of dogs were barking the background and lots of requests for “wait a sec”. After I was told to wait i would be randomly asked what my birthday was. It was frustrating and irritating your online form does not work. I hope I will not be charged for my visit I will keep aj eye on my insurance. If you cant get basic customer service down how am i supposed to trust you with my bodys healthcare?

Dr. Payal Shah was the worst physician I've ever seen. She mistreated me because she knew I really needed those documentation for immigration purposes and, in a very rude way, made me pay an extra 50 USD. She tried to apologize but just made it worse by saying, "I hope to never see you again." I would never visit this clinic again.

My actual appointment with nurse practitioner Jasmine Brar was pleasant. The shock from receiving my bill was not. She or her office charged me $2,686 (before insurance) for a small mole removal on my chest that required no stitches and was smaller than a pencil eraser. With a HDHP they're telling me I owe over $1,400 and Blue Cross Blue Shield confirmed this since they don't control the billing codes sent to them. Insanity. Without insurance, a mole biopsy costs ~$400. No one from her office or the billing center can be bothered to clarify if this $1,400+ bill even includes the Labcorp cost(s). I would hope it does, but that shouldn't constitute $1k LOL. Testing a small skin sample for cancer isn't new, cutting edge technology. I made my appointment in ZocDoc for a skin problem and specifically stated my reason for appointment was to remove a skin tag (that or a weird mole is what it seemed like to me) that I thought could be squamous cell carcinoma. I reiterated this on my intake paperwork. Pathology confirmed it was squamous so I was right! I was very direct about my reason for the appointment and didn't bring up any other health matters. Nurse Brar didn't advise or consult me on anything. The billing notes from which their third party billing department read to me included "tumor on the ribs" which is nuts! I did not have a tumor, nor did she even get close to my ribs. She didn't give me a single stitch. I left in less than an hour with a band-aid steristrip and iodine cleaning wipes. It was a simple, superficial skin excision with numbing agent and a small knife. The tiny specimen sent to a lab for testing. Super basic stuff. I feel absolutely exploited, and no one from her office can explain what the two billing codes mean. Not paying this bill until itemization is provided. Terrible experience, will not return. Not worth the headache, time suck of having to do forensic research to understand my bill, and attempted financial exploitation. Doctors are supposed to promote their patients' wellness, not give them stress and make them feel preyed upon while trying to stay healthy.10/27/23 Update: I received a bill for $187 from Labcorp so no, the inane amount OneStop billed me for didn't include pathology. LOLIt's been over two months since my appointment, and OneStop still hasn't gotten back to me on how they're correcting this. Apparently Jasmine Brar used a "surgery" billing code--feels like a money grab to me. She asked what I do for a living. She also mentioned that the billing side of things is her least favorite part of her job, so that should've been a red flag but I was already at my appointment when she said that. Should've asked her on the spot what billing codes she'd use for my biopsy/skin tag removal. It's disgusting that as a paying customer with private health insurance, one has to defend herself from predatory billing decisions by the medical professional and be laser focused on whether they're doing their job correctly when my focus should be on my health. Maybe she felt I should pay up because she thinks I make more than her average patient. I regret ever going here and should've gone to a dermatologist who certainly wouldn't have charged $2,686 for a small skin biopsy.

Dr. Payal and the nurse Daisy were really nice, kind, and provided a great service with my mother in law. I don’t give 5 stars due to the male receptionist which was rude, had the worst customer service, super disrespectful, and wouldn’t let me speak while talking over me.

Most incompetent PCP I have ever had. They spelled my name wrong, my street and city were spelled wrong and they couldn't fill out referrals correctly. Cost me so much time and still trying to figure things out. DO NOT GO WITH THEM

If I could give a zero I would. I believe it to be, when you make an appointment somewhere, they usually call back to confirm and to make sure everything is in order. My experience with this place’s communication/front desk staff was not positive and I won’t try to be a patient for it. I called on Friday morning to book an appointment, booked it with the doctor and they asked me to text my insurance info over… not a normal request in my experience…. But I did it because I need to see a doctor. They said “we will call you sometime tomorrow morning after we run your insurance to make sure you’re in network.” I got this office’s information from my insurance. So weird that they wouldn’t be in network when I just got their number less than 30 minutes before I called them. So I wait all Saturday and all Sunday to give them ample time to run my information. Call them today and they almost have no record of me at all. I had to say that I texted my information to them three times, they finally find it, then tell me they have to confirm my information so I have to send a picture of the front and back of my insurance card via email. If that’s the case, why did they have me send my name, DB, member and policy ID numbers via text. Then he says they have no room for Medicaid patients and that’s why they have to confirm, when I told the guy who booked me I was through state insurance. So they couldn’t confirm my insurance information that they specifically requested via text, and didn’t bother to call me back to communicate I wasn’t able to be seen but expected me to believe I had an appointment today.Very very frustrating. Do not recommend.

Dr Shah and her staff are both professional and caring in their approach. I know they really listen to me, hear my concerns, and provide thorough information & education on available treatment plans & options. I travel from N Seattle to Burien just to remain a patient of Dr Shah and her staff at OneStop. Highly recommended!
