They're a little slow unloading your truck but they seem competent.

Don't use them. They are charging us an additional "drop gate" fee for delivering our flooring.

This company reclassified a shipment and charged me an additional 50% of the original shipment cost almost 2 months after the delivery. The "resolution" process failed to adequately explain the reclassification. It looks like they wanted more money than agreed and found a way to increase the charges. Delivery was considerably slower than competing companies. My item arrived in one piece, which is the only positive in this whole ordeal.
I will avoid their services and caution others to do the same.

Demanded extra delivery fees before delivering my products. I had purchased a vinyl shed from Menards on July 11 which was sent to me from US Polymers. I had not received the item after 2 weeks so I checked my tracking information. It said it was shipped with Saia Trucking and transferred to Midwest Motor Express. There was no tracking or contact information at this point. I contacted Menards to ask them to find out what happened to my shipment. When they got back to me, I was at a camp with no access to email or phone. When I returned I called Midwest as Menards said they had my shipment. At Midwest, the woman I spoke to (Nicole) said they were going to charge me a storage fee of $37.50. I asked her why I was being charged that when I had no idea how to contact them to find my shipment. She said that was what her supervisor instructed her to tell me. I then asked to speak to the supervisor and asked the same question. He said I hadn't contacted them so I would be charged the fee. When I explained the situation, he accused me of lying and said he had heard that story before. He then said I could pay the fee or he was sending it back. Since I needed the item, I told him to deliver it and that I would be contacting the BBB. He said he didn't care if I did. I would not have filed a complaint but the supervisor was very rude and I wish he had given me his name.

This freight company is TERRIBLE!!! Do not use them if you are shipping any freight into North Dakota. Their staff is completely incompetent, does not deliver on time, and will keep your freight at the dock for WEEKS despite multiple phone calls asking where it is/when it will deliver. They will also lie to you and tell you it's on a truck to deliver when it is actually not. I honestly I can't believe they are still in business. I will never put anything on this carrier ever again. WARNING: SAIA will transfer freight on to them to service ND, so stay away from SAIA as well!

Without a doubt the worst shipping contractor we have used. On 2 separate instances they have not made scheduled pickups and didn't bother to call and make us aware of the fact they were not coming. When discussed with them on the phone they couldn't have cared less. They get one star because I don't think 0 is available.
