Kone is the place to go!
I don’t even know where to start.
I was in desperate need of a style as I just recently moved out and was wanting to treat myself before leaving Seattle for good and only had a couple of days. I tried so many different places and I called Kone who was so understanding and so kind that, despite being 40 minutes away and her already working through the night prior, gladly accepted me as a last minute appointment. I drove over and she immediately sat down with me for a brief consultation while showing her the styles I wanted.
We went over multiple styles and we finally settled on one at a reasonable price considering it was a same day appointment, she was about to leave, and we used two packs of hair. Her shop was clean and the aromatics were on point.
After that, it took about two hours, but the end result was easily the best set of braids that I’ve ever had. She was so meticulous and careful throughout to make sure that they were set, of equal length, and up to a high quality standard.
On top of all this, she could not have been nicer. We chatted through the whole process, gave me hair care tips, reasonings for style changes adjusted for my hair type, etc.
Genuinely one of the nicest interactions, and when I texted her my thanks afterwards, she called me in response to give her appreciation.

I found Kone on Google and called to inquire if she can braid a man's hair; the answer was yes and gave me last minute appointment. Kone is very knowledgeable and professional, she worked on my hair and came out more than I was expecting. Absolutely I will go back again, and I highly recommend everyone to kone African hair braiding,,,,,,Kone is the BEST in TOWN.
