The moving team from John Volken Academy just did an incredible job for me. First, I stopped in the furniture store late Friday afternoon to ask about their moving services. They had an opening that Monday. The team was a great bunch of guys that worked their tails off which is a testament to the work the Academy does. In addition to some of my household items, they moved a large hot tub, a pod type massage chair, a health club duty Precor elliptical, 2 safes plus a few other stupid heavy items. They are priced about the same as other movers I got ad cards in the mail from, and you are supporting a great organization that is helping guys rebuild their lives.

My move team consisted of Eli, Ryder and Luka. They all helped me make a very last minute move, were quick, efficient, and careful with my belongings. Great conversationalists and in general seemed like great people. If you have a chance to work with any of these gentlemen, consider it a gift!

Eli, Alex and Chris were wonderful. They helped pack up items as I had fallen behind. Took great care. At the end, they offered to move anything around that I felt needed relocated. I'm glad I found this company. Definitely will recommend to friends.

I would give John Volken Academy Movers six stars if I could. They met and exceeded my expectations. They kept me informed, were always on time, treated us and each other with respect, worked unceasingly, packed carefully and moved furniture and smaller items without any damage to them or to either house. They even cheerfully moved furniture around the new house so I could see the best fit. I would use them again if I had anything to move and can unreservedly recommend them for your moving needs. And reasonable rates on top of everything!

I contracted with JVA movers, and I’m so glad I did. There aren’t words to describe how wonderful they are. They Give me an estimate, and actually stuck to that estimate, which was much appreciated. They were able to arrive to start packing an hour early, which was also much appreciated. Their communication skills are above reproach. They never failed to ask a question if they weren’t sure of something. They were very careful with everything I have, and I do have a lot of antiques. Everything arrived exactly the way it left my Old house. They even assembled my big queen bed for me. I’ll be 85 in July and could not possibly have done that myself. They were so kind and considerate, and they all had great personalities. I will recommend JVA movers to all of my friends, and even those people that I don’t know like you. Thanks for making my move a wonderful experience!

I highly recommend JVA Movers. They were professional, patient, and so quick! The care they showed while making it thought tight door and hallways was so appreciated. Every detail was thought of, making an always stressful event a breeze.

We had an amazing experience with our recent move using JVA movers! They had a cancellation and were able to fit us in last minute, which we were so grateful for. They were flexible when we had issues with our moving truck pickup, showed up right when they said they would, and got right to work. The movers were polite, diligent, and very careful with our belongings. I was so impressed with how well-run the entire operation is. We coordinated it all with the manager, Clayton, who was so pleasant to work with and made the whole experience super easy (never would have thought I would describe moving as easy!). Would 100% use them again at any opportunity, and would highly recommend them to anyone else needing moving services!

Our family has moved all over, from Asia to the US, between houses, across states etc. Most of our moves have been less than satisfactory, some of them outright bad, but this is one of the first times I've been really really impressed. Our guys were Eli and Tristan and Spencer and they were on top.of it, had a super positive attitude and at all times were really working hard and fast. We had a looong move, ten hours of just loading and unloading and they worked it nonstop, including moving a heavy piano and even fixed some of my furniture where screws and bolts had gone out.
During the move, I learned about the mission of the JVA program, and really think they need more exposure.
Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you!

John Volken Academy Movers are phenomenal! Clayton and his team helped me with a last minute pick up and delivery for a customer. They were on time, called both the customer and the delivery location, and kept me updated on the status of the job. I definitely recommend them!
