Great service! We own a residential remodeling company and we come here for all our flooring needs. We work very closely with Sarah Doohan and she is very experienced and knowledgeable about all things flooring. She always has the answers we need and is great to work with! My husband and I went to Great Floors in Kent looking for vinyl to replace the flooring of our basement laundry and hallway.
We met with Sarah Doohan and immediately liked her. She provided excellent customer service and a lot of guidance regarding materials, costs, colors, durability, you name it!
The initial quote was above what we wanted to spend and it was understandable since small projects tend to cost more. Sarah was incredibly dedicated and committed to finding an option that would work for us and did a great job.
We love the vinyl we ended up selecting with Sarah's help and it ended up being more affordable than the original quote. We continued to interact with Sarah as if she was a friend because she is so friendly, caring, and committed to her clients.
The installation was also very well done. There were some areas with imperfections and the installers, brothers Antonio and Julio, fixed them with the material they put under the vinyl. Seams are invisible. Such a great quality!
Additionally, Antonio and Julio are very nice people. Friendly, polite, helpful, and cleaned up everything before leaving.
All in all, we highly recommend Great Floors and staff, including installers.
We looked at other options before going to Great Floors and couldn't find anything even comparable with the great solution Sarah offered. She did such an excellent job!

We replaced the carpet in our upstairs bedrooms and stairs as part of a minor remodel. We worked with Wendy at Great Floors and couldn't be happier. Here are a few specifics.
1. Our contractor for the remodel was originally going to handle the carpet. When I didn't trust his estimate for how much carpet we needed, I took that part of the job back and went to Wendy. She sent an estimator who did a careful estimate and produced a cutting pattern in advance. In the end, we had the right amount with just a bit to spare.
2. Wendy helped me coordinate the carpet with the rest of the remodel by storing the carpet until time to install.
3. The installers came on time, shifted the furniture around as needed, fixed floor squeaks, and did a great job installing.
I don't know how this could have been better. I'll definitely go back when we replace other carpet.

Great Floors is not so great. Sitting outside their parking lot. Brought in sample floors that I just needed a decent match for stair treads. Went in and asked if they had stair treads, older Indian sales associate immediately just said, ‘no’. I’ve been to a couple of different flooring places so I was puzzled since I know flooring places will usually have tread caps to go with their floors. After asking again he walks over to some treads. I proceeded to show him my sample and said I was trying to match it just to get stair treads. He again, cuts me off immediately with, ‘no’. I’m left confused again because he didn’t even consider helping me. I asked him if I just found floors that were a match for me if I can get treads made, he proceeded to tell me ‘no’ after awhile I confirmed I could choose a floor style and have treads made but after the terrible customer service and being told ‘No’ at least 3-4 times in a curt way it was clear I wouldn’t support this business.

My 3rd and final purchase here.Wife and I came in on a Thursday to buy VPF and sheet vinyl. We were quickly greeted by a salesperson who got my wife started looking at sheet samples while she walked me over to VPF I asked "you stock all of this so we can pickup now?". She says no. I stop dead in my tracks and tell her "This was a deal breaker as we had Fri, Sat, Sunday to do the install in a rental. Salesperson says "but we get it fast, warehouse is closed but I'll text you when you can pickup tomorrow. I lay down $500.00 and take the LPF. Next day the text says you can pickup Monday."[EDIT] Surprise I drive the 5 miles to pick it up and "It wont be here until tomorrow" so ,with any luck I can get what I paid for 5 days and 3 trips later - thanks for the heads up!

I had to revise my review after things went wrong about 13 months after the installation.
TLDR: Great Floors has one great employee, Steve Streeter, who retires at the end of June 2023.
Steve’s service and help with pricing was exceptional, and I have shopped various flooring companies. The real test of a flooring company is the durability of the product and failing at that how they stand by their work. Great Floors does not pass either of these tests.
One year after I upgraded my floors, a gap appeared in the kitchen between two planks. Thinking this was odd, as my previous kitchen floor lasted longer than the 10 years, I called Steve the salesperson. He had to connect me with his manager Riley who told me I could hire them to come out an repair the gap, or go through a warranty process. I asked to go through the warranty process and the store manager who I was told would be in touch never got back to me.
This morning the gap grew to about quarter of an inch.
If you want workmanship that may or may not stand the test of time (1 year) and you want to be left in the hands of a leadership team that is indifferent to the retail side of the business, than Great Floors is for you.

I will just warn you they are scam artists from the gal named Julie Kinter to Dave Ring and Gene Kazak I will be getting back to you when we finally talk to the better business bureau and the Attorney general waiting to see if they are going to credit our card, said they get back to me 3 days ago!!

Great place to get the floor covering you want for your home or office. Typhinee is our project manager and is a big help with the info needed for us to make good decisions for our carpet and installation.

Not sure why people are so uptight about a flooring store...Who cares if they didn't answer your call within the 5 seconds you expect or greet you the second you step foot into the establishment. People are busy. Employees have "off days" too. Great Floors doesn't revolve around you, and I'm sorry if anyone told you otherwise! Typhinee was 10/10 helpful in all ways. The person that took a minute to finish her work and then greet me was friendly and helpful. I'm not expecting to be catered to when I walk into a flooring store.... We got a flooring sample for LVP and was provided an extensive list of colors that were in stock at their warehouse. Placed the order. Excited to install it. That's all!

I popped into Great Floors only to inquire about carpets/luxury vinyl and was directed to Sarah Doohan. It was like she took my hand and lead me exactly to what I was looking for without pressure, just a lot of good questions and professional expertise. She has been awesome from that first visit all through a major installation project. I can't recommend her enough!

I recently purchased flooring for a small 650sf job. While everything that could go wrong did go wrong and then some, they still garnered a 5-star rating from me. Everyone from the new-to-the-job salesperson, Tami Haynes, to the Assistant Manager, Wendy, and on up to the Store Manager, Gene, went out of their way to help resolve the situation(s). They worked as a team and took care of me so that I came away from the calamity feeling good about how the issues were resolved, and how I was treated.
