I am a 63 year old male and have been a very loyal and very steady customer( I have 9 current medications I get filled regularly )at the Lake Meridian Bartells since 1989. This store was always excellent until Bartells was bought out.Now it is the worst pharmacy I can imagine for the following reasons. Most of my problems are pricing issues , my blood pressure med is $29.00 yet every single month it bills at $60 plus and I have to go to another counter and start over. EVERY Month!They insist it stays in the system but not once has the price been correct , not once since the changeover ! I've been as patient as possible but I never had these issues with the old Bartells. This is going on years now not months. Two months ago I got multiple prescriptions and they had mixed up two of the meds in the bottles , they had put the wrong med and wrong quantity in the other bottle and vice versa. Fortunately I have been taking both for 30 years and knew the difference. The staff is always friendly and work through the issues and eventually I leave with my meds but not before some snafu every time. Constantly refiling meds I've asked time and time again to remove from auto refill so I never know what is going to be set out. Very very frustrating to be in a "Groundhog Day" scenario where the same thing happens over and over and over. Today my 2 prescriptions were ready but again instead of $29 it billed $60. I said please remove , I'll come back tomorrow and get Merle to fix. Okay but you have to wait for someone to cancel. Okay. 5. minutes later I am alone by the register waiting for I don't know what for one simple prescription called in 4 days prior. Finally after complaining someone came over shortly and finalized the transaction. Streamlined and simple ? Not even CLOSE.Going to this particular store is almost guaranteed to be aggravating yet I have stayed with them because of 34 years of doing business but enough is enough. It saddens me to say but I'm going to have to switch my business to Walgreens because of the constant problems at Bartells. I met George Bartell Jr. at the the same pharmacy counter when he was in his 80's and I'm quite confident this wouldn't be happening now were he still in charge, my goodness he was still inspecting the operation at his age and he asked all customers present that day if everything were ok. I'd be scared to answer his question truthfully these days.

Barbells have taken a wrong turn.Use to have customer service. Now just excuses. Time to look for a different Pharmacy.

Went to this pharmacy today and I had a query about on the shelf medicine I wanted to buy (allergy tablets) she was so rude, not helpful and indifferent. She did not help at all. My husband wanted to know why they got his medicine wrong three times, she said my husband can go to another pharmacy if he likes. I am from Australia and I’ve never seen anything like this. She needs a course in customer service and being a decent human being.

I have gone to this Bartell drug store for years. Today I went in to pick up a prescription that I refilled over 24 hours ago. They did not have the prescription ready which was fine, but I got horrible customer service There was 5 people behind the counter they did not even acknowledge that I was even there, nor could I get any information on when my prescription might be ready. So sad to have such terrible service. Time to change pharmacies. I called the 1 877 number and filed a complaint hopefully they will address and fix the problem !!

The customer service at this pharmacy is awful. Parmjit is specifically rude and shouldn't be around customers. They lie about prescription ready times. Don't have your prescriptions sent to this pharmacy from another one either that is a week long battle that took it being sent to a different place all together!

For the most part I have gotten my prescriptions on time. However the customer service is pretty poor at times. Every time I call they put me on hold, every time. And they are never all that busy. I take it they just don’t want to answer the phone. Another time I called and a young lady was super rude to me and talked over me. On another occasion I went in and needed my prescription but it was break time and they told me to leave. Incredibly rude and I called corporate to complain and they never called me back. They easily could have finished with me and then went on their break, which would have been professional and courteous but they didn’t care at all what I had going on that day. I had to come back a different day to get my medication

I have a prescription for a controlled substance. I was told this Bartel had it in stock by another pharmacy. When I called them to get it filled, they told me that they didn't have it and that what the computer says they have, verses what they actually have, isn't always accurate. But how can that be? That's not even legal bc these a " controlled substances". So, what's really going on here? Where is it disappearing to? Aweful.

45-1 hour ago I give the lady at the pharmacy my prescription slip for some medicine, I come back after that time and she tells me that there is no record of it. Yet I handed it to the same lady that helped me the first time. I worry that you guys don't keep your shit in check. Terrible terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. After many years of being a loyal customer, I'm going to a different pharmacy. They hang up on you within a couple seconds when you are trying to speak with them. On the phone. That's when you can actually speak to a person. II witnessed this with older people who have a hard time hearing, I witnessed 3 times while waiting in line, and it's happened to me too. They say " hello..." then hang up. This must be I very hard for older patients. Also, you will get a message saying your prescriptions are ready. You go up there and they say "it will be about 20-30 minutes."It's also amazing how the employees of the pharmacy have mastered the are of ignoring people who clearly need assistance. What happened? How did such a great pharmacy get so terrible the last 2 years

The pharmacist at this location chooses not to honor the GoodRx coupon for people who don't have insurance if you're getting a controlled substance such as an ADHD medication. Bartell's charges $130 for this medication if you don't have insurance. With the good rx prescription card, that medication drops to about $36. It's unfortunate that somewhere they decided that pharmacists should be able to discriminate against people based on their personal and or religious beliefs. I don't think this is right I don't think that because bartell's is the only place that had this medication that due to discrimination we should have had to pay about $100 more than if we picked it up at say rite aid which would have honored the prescription card and has on the prescription card during times where there has been no health insurance. This is blatant discrimination in no reality should a pharmacist be able to influence somebody being able to afford their medication when there is a way for Bartels to get reimbursed and for the customer to get their medication. This is such a disgusting practice that even though this is just this Bartels as far as I know choosing to do this they're they're pharmacist I will never spend another penny in bartell's. Bartell's is supposed to be a Northwest company way to treat your neighbor's Bartels. We're homeless right now, and you literally took 100 extra dollars from us that you did not need it was not necessary for you to take that money from us. Now every chance I get I am going to make sure that anybody who will listen knows that this is a practice that bartell drugs supports they do not support their customers they do not care what is fair and what is right and what is ethical and moral that they will allow their pharmacists to make poor decisions for other people's health. In the grand scheme of things I'm actually surprised that bartell's still exists considering and as people go through this ADHD medication shortage I hope that they will lose more business as people come to find out that if they don't have health insurance that they may not be able to afford their medication. That was one extra night in a hotel versus sleeping in the car. Way to go bartell's way to go I hope you're very proud of yourself.

My Doctor called in a prescription at 10am. So at 1pm, 3 hours later I called to see if it was ready. The pharmacy said no, but it would be done in an hour at 2pm. So at 2pm, I head down to the pharmacy and they tell me it's not done and it will be from 45 min to an hour an a half. The lady was very snarky and then proceeded to say if I had any problems with that, maybe it would be better to come back tomorrow. I needed my medicine, so I basically had to submit to this Bartells employee! Then after 2 hours, my medicine was finally done, it took them six hours to fill one antibiotic I was suppose to begin taking 5 hours ago!

When I visit my family, I love stocking up in locally made goods to bring back to Florida... if I don't eat all the Almond Roca before I get back :)Staff are friendly and pharmacy is quick. Great selection.

I used to like this place, but now their practices have gone over the top and I blame the new ownership of Rite-Aid. They put the wrong price tag on items on purpose to deceive customers, also charging WAY more than any other store nearby. I went to fill a prescription after they said it was ready I had to drive there only to wait another half hour in this mostly empty store with nothing to do. Don't go here unless you want to get shafted and waste a ton of time.
