“This taco truck had signs that said "Taqueria La Tapatia" and "Taqueria Sotelo," so it's a little bit confusing. Anyway, it's currently (March 2015) parked at 21st & Union in the mechanic's parking lot. The truck is open fairly late -- 9 pm on weekdays, 10 pm on weekends. There are a few tables with a covered tent next to the truck, or you can take food into Chuck's Hop Shop next door to go with your favorite cider or beer. We took ours to-go. The menu is pretty standard: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas. Pretty much everything is under $10. They do have a fajita burrito ($6.75) with your choice of meat, which has grilled onions and peppers in addition to the regular rice/beans/salsa (it also says you get avocado, but I didn't see any on mine). We tried a carnitas fajita burrito and an al pastor fajita burrito; both meats were good, but the al pastor was just a bit more moist and flavorful. The shrimp ceviche also sounded intriguing. Service was friendly, although it took a little longer than I expected considering that we were the only people there and just ordered two burritos. The burritos came packaged in foil, but weren't wrapped tightly enough, so the burritos fell apart as we ate. I liked the grilled onions and peppers, though, and wish more taco trucks offered something similar. Overall, a cheap and tasty taco truck for a quick meal. Worth a visit if you're in the Central District and planning to go to Chuck's or Central Cinema. Cash only.”

“I have been coming here for 3 years now and have always felt that warm comfortable vibes! Their hot food and deli style foods are a little expensive compared to other stores but I would rather pay for quality over quantity any day of the week especially when it comes to food. They get really busy because this is a truck stop after all, but they still make sure that you being the customer is always taken care of! Yes it's a a great stop!”

“This is a decent location. Staff are nice and helpful. It's like an oversized quickie mart. Well lit inside not dimmed like other drugstores down the road. They have very few selections of frozen food and pantry items. Pharmacy staff is knowledgeable.”

“So I had some issues ordering a cake only because the ladies who helped me weren't cake decorators and they wanted me to follow up with the bakery to make sure I got what I wanted. The day before I was supposed to pick the cake up I went back in person and it was the same lady who helped me the first time. Customer service staff also promised to assist - this was for a retirement party for a 42+ year career in criminal Justice. The cake turned out AMAZING! Thank you to the ladies and the cake decorator!!!!”
