We lived in a very rural area on an island in the Puget Sound. Allied was the only moving line willing to come to the island for the initial estimate for packing. The packing crew worked for hours packing our belongings. All our antiques made it in good condition. Alondra, our p.o.c, has been very helpful throughout the move & kept all of us on track. The moving van was late to the final destination but the driver worked thru a serious injury/infection & ultimately got our belongings to us. We appreciate his diligence! Kudos to all on what was a very long cross-country move.

Allied moved my household goods from Washington state near Seattle to our new home in Tucson, AZ. Everything was handled professionally by the crews on both ends. I would recommend using Allied for a long distance move.

Movers helped my husband with last minute items that he neglected to pack which is much appreciated! Also although our delivery was delayed the allied team really brought it home literally and figuratively ona hot move in day.

Great move, no frills, no surprises! Would book Allied again!

Good communication, smooth process, no damage to high value items. Due to the size constraints of the roads at both the origin and destination, our stuff had to be transferred between three trucks. Everything was clearly labeled and arrived in the same condition it was packed in.

The mover that came to my house were great. I had a contact for both ends of the move. I got updates. The arrived when they said they would. I have no complaints and will use them on my next move.

Allied Movers was chosen for our military relocation in the summer of 2022. This has been an AWFUL experience from start to finish!! I cannot warn people away strongly enough!! During the prep phase, despite doing a virtual walk thru of our home we received conflicting information and had to repeat important information about specialty/high value items on multiple occasions to multiple people. The first day of our pack out, they arrived 4 hours late, without any notice. Despite the late start, at 5pm sharp the crew dropped what they were doing and left - leaving lights on, cabinet doors open, and their lunch/snack garbage all over my downstairs and front porch. We received zero paperwork, inventory, etc from the company at the end of the day and I was left joking to my deployed husband that I hoped we hadn’t just been robbed since they drove off with half a truckload of boxes without any communication with me! Day two they were nearly an hour late again, but at least arrived with a 3 man crew, all of whom seemed mostly physically capable. At 530pm I was arguing with the crew about why they had left a random cup, hangers, cleaning supplies, Lego pieces, household decor, and olive oil unpacked. I was informed that they were so far behind on day 2 that they had to make a decision to either get the job done OR do an inventory, so again at the end of day two there was no paperwork provided to me. Unfortunately, during our unpack I was stuck in the hospital with my infant son, who was admitted on an emergent basis. I sent a list of where I wanted each large furniture item to go in the house and what could be left packed in the garage and assured the crew had access to our new property, but could not be there myself. Despite having my number, I never received any calls asking questions…though apparently the family member I had present to provide access received more than a few rude, aggressive, unprofessional comments about our possessions and new home!! Upon returning from the hospital, I was shocked at the condition our home was left in. There was literally items left in every walking space, bed, ledge, counter, and window sill they could find. Absolutely nothing had been put in drawers at all, nor had anything been placed in the room it belonged. My older kids’ clothes, which I had spent hours making sure was sorted and folded prior to the move, was just dumped in a pile in the nursery, unfolded and all mixed together. Mine and my husbands clothes were strewn about the master bedroom, hall closets, and nursery. Our mattress had not been covered and was streaked with grime and dirt as though literally the moving truck had run it over. Kitchen utensils were stacked in the bath tubs and beside toilets. Our grandfather clock was left only partially unpacked with the remaining pieces hidden amongst several other boxes that were inside by unpacked. Boxes clearly marked “basement” were left in my upstairs kitchen. Boxes marked “food” were left in my garage underneath boxes marked “China cabinet”. The list here goes on and on. It was an absolute disaster. It took about 8 hours of solid cleaning just to be able to move from room to room in our new home. As we began unpacking, it became clear that literally EVERY piece of furniture we owned had been damaged - gouges and scratches in all of our wood pieces, the face of our nightstand drawers were split down the middle, slits several inches long across the fabric of one of our chairs. Costco size boxes holding food purchased in bulk had been discarded so that I had entire boxes full of loose tampons, ramen, Mac and cheese, fruit cups, etc. Large Lego items were destroyed. Baby keepsakes we’re destroyed. My husband’s naval certificate frames were destroyed along with many other paintings we own as few things were properly wrapped and zero care was given to unloading them. When I called the company to complain and see if they could help rectify any part of this move, I was basically told they to eat sand. I have nothing positive to say about any aspect of working with this company.

They are a sleazy company. Good companies don't need to cold call people. They could lower prices or improve service, but instead they pay salespeople

Reached out for a quote and these folksBegan spamming incessantly every day multiple times a day. Even after I blocked them they continued to send automated calls to leave msgs in my VM (which cannot be blocked).

Western van and storage moved us from Indiana to the Seattle Washington area. A big move, and we can honestly say they made the move as easy as possible. Everyone we worked with at Western was very kind, respectful, and professional. Talia in the office was proactive and helpful all along the way. Movers Burk and Mark did an excellent job managing the packing and loading on the Indiana end. Dyllon, Matt, Greg, Gino, and Dave did a great job with the move into our new place in Washington. We had only a couple minor damages which is amazing given the number of furniture items and boxes we had. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Western Van and Storage.
