My experience with Advantage Auto could not have been better! I showed up with an idea and they helped me turn it into a reality. I highly recommend that you stop there first when you are in the market for a good quality pre-owned vehicle!

I gave two stars because the owner and the sale representative I worked with were both very nice, so I feel a little bad writing this but I would just like to warn people to get any car they buy very thoroughly looked at before purchasing. The experience I have had with the car I bought from here about two months ago has honestly been comically bad, starting from the day I purchased it and was driving it home. I live a little over an hour away, and about twenty minutes into driving it I realize it's overheating and spewing coolant. I had to pull off and use the last of my phone battery to call someone to come help me, so I spent somewhere between three and four hours waiting for someone to come tow my new car home at 9 o'clock at night with no phone in an unfamiliar place. It was pretty terrible and I was extremely stressed out, but when I called the next day they offered to have my car towed to a shop they use in Kent and pay to have it fixed, by replacing the thermostat, which I was extremely grateful for because there was no warranty. About a month later on the day before Thanksgiving, the starter went out which I discovered when I was trying to take my dog to the emergency vet, which was horrible timing as it also caused me to miss my Thanksgiving plans the following day, but I was able to get a ride to the vet and my dog is fine now. However once again the car is not under warranty so I didn't bother contacting the dealership again, I just fixed it a few days later and moved on. Then two days ago on Christmas day, I was driving to my moms house and it started overheating again. I had to pull over and once again spent hours on the side of the road waiting for someone to come tow it home. Obviously the timing of all of that was not the dealerships fault but it just adds context to why I'm so frustrated with the situation. I contacted them about the overheating because three problems rendering the car unusable within two months is actually insane, and I was told that the car was under warranty for the thermostat they replaced the last time, but I'd have to tow it back to the shop they used, which again is over and hour away. I definitely cannot afford to get it towed that far, and when I said this, they had the guy who worked on my car at the aforementioned shop talk to me and he told me that the thermostat is actually not under warranty because I'm the owner now and not the dealership, and if I get it towed there he would fix it for free anyway if the cause was the thermostat, but he insisted that it probably wasn't the issue and it was likely something else so I would have to pay to get it repaired. I don't really know why they suggested paying to have it towed an hour away to still pay to have it fixed when I could just fix it here and avoid the tow fee, but maybe I misunderstood I guess? I was also informed when I bought the car that a part related to the cooling system had been replaced, I think it was the water pump, so that makes it seem like it had a preexisting issue of overheating, they thought they fixed it, but they didn't. That's just speculation, but that's the way it looks to me. I realize there is no legal obligation for them to do anything about it because of a lack of warranty, but from just a human standpoint this situation has been really messed up, and I don't think that anyone buying a car for over $20k with just over 30k miles on it should even have to worry about this being the outcome with or without a warranty. I am now completely overwhelmed and really don't even know what to do because I can't afford to have a car that is going to continuously break down like this, and the fact that I've had to miss days of work because I literally do not have a car after just buying a new one and can't always get a ride is not helping. Overall I bought this car trying to make my life better but so far it's just made it significantly worse, this car has broken down more times than I've even made payments on it and I sev

They stole my money. Had an extended warranty that I canceled. Warranty company mailed refund to dealer. They cashed it and would not send me refund. Out $2,500 Probably called 20 times to let them do the right thing. Buyer beware….I don’t care what reviews say.

Was looking a truck that was priced good and ready to buy at tgat price. I did notice some rust has been covered up with a bedlunwr material that was sloppily applied. This is why I could see the rust.
Took to a local dealer to evaluate as there was a few other odd items. Disconnected sensors.
Turns our it needs about 6k in work. Maybe more as there was an unknown oil leak. Has 6 year old tires and a tire sensor issue that they know about, but found it cheaper not to deal with.
Long story short here, Buyer beware. The atmosphere was professional. you're basically dealing with guys that are trying to pass someone else's problems on to you.
I was willing to take on some of the cost and risk, but they were unwilling to even negotiate.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

I bought my new truck here a month ago and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I was given a great deal on the purchase price and the whole experience was amazing. Keanu my sales guy, felt more like a family friend that was just there to help me make the right decision on a vehicle. There was no pressure at all and the environment there did not seem like a sales floor, instead the other salesman along with the finance manager were kind and very welcoming. It literally felt like no other experience I've had in the past with car dealerships. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.
