Did not order a part we needed for the repair, then ordered the wrong window for the back, then did not call my wife who was waiting 4 hours for the call that the repair had been done. Then can not reach a live person, the phone system redirects you to the website. Very incompetent, sloppy and poor customer service.

8.20.24, 445pm, vehicle 25061, I-182 East between rd100 & red 68. Your driver was texting and talking on his phone. He was speeding the entire time between 5 and 10 over the speed limit. The driver was in the left lane and decided they needed to exit at Road 68. They just signaled and merged and nearly hit me in the center lane so I moved to the right and they nearly hit me again going all the way to the right.
One of many reasons why Safelite does not have a good reputation. I welcome someone reaching out to me with a way to talk to a manager about this safety issue.

1/10 service heres to another week I have to wait for my windshield. After reading all the negative reviews I was already uneasy about choosing safelite in kennewick but went ahead since it was covered by my insurance. The day I made the claim the lady asked me on the phone for my vehicle vin number. The day of the appointment on 8/13 I called the MORNING of making sure they had my windshield in just to make sure I was not going to he making an hour drive for nothing of course they said it was in. Upon arrival of about 30 minutes they call me back to say the ordered the wrong part due to the wrong vin number of my old car! The lady then goes Oh I wondered why you said corolla cross on the phone this morning? No really?! Im ticked off, having to wait another week, they should have checked the right vin numbers that I gave upon making my appointment. Heres to waiting another week! I would not be surprised if I had to wait another week. These people are a joke.

I find them dishonest. It is a typical example of Bait and Switch. The online quote for Tesla is about $600 and, in fine print, 'potential' recalibration fee. In fact, the fee seems to be always required and brings the total to $1300. Total scam.

I talked to the tech in the morning. I told him exactly where the cat would be parked. And that my wife was available to give him the keys. She was watching for 2 hours when he said he'd be there. However, when I called to enquire as to why my appointment was canceled. Their response was, "he sat there for 15 min then left." Thanks for nothing. Now I'm going out of town with a cracked windshield. I'll use any other glass service going forward.

I came here to replace the windshield of my Nissan Sentra, I work in the industrial side of town so I get rock chips very frequently. I saw that statefarm had a $100 deductible on windshield replacements so I made an appointment to take my car into their site. There was an issue so they called me in to show me what was going on, the young tech told me that upon removing the weather strip there was some rust on the upper mating beam of the windshield so he could not replace it due to liability. He suggested I take my car to a body shop and have the upper mating surface redone, then he can replace the windshield. My car is only 10 years old and the rust is very minimal I don’t see how it would become a problem in the condition it’s in, obviously I understand the concern and told him it’s ok just seal the rock chips since I was already there and took the time to get this done. Apparently State Farm doesn’t cover chip seals so I had to pay out of pocket for a few chips. They didn’t put the weather strip back on or try to cover it with silicone so now it’s really gonna rust and possibly leak.
Present time the rock chips need to be resealed again.

Drove 75 miles to my appointment to have my windshield replaced on my insurance companies strong recommendation because they could do the repair and calibration of safety electronics in one visit. They took over one hour while I waited then came out and told me that the replacement window was damaged and that I now had to wait 2 more weeks and another 150 mile round trip to have the work performed because they didn’t have another window in stock. Safelite used to come to your home or work and do the work, but not anymore. How come it took 1 hour to discover that the replacement window was damaged? Looking for other options now.

I was able to get right in. The receptionists were very polite and friendly. The person who fixed the rock chip in my windshield was also very nice and friendly with a good personality. He had it fixed in half an hour. I can't even tell where it was! I would recommend Safelite to everyone!

I was very happy with my visit to Safelite. They honored my time and pulled my car in as soon as I arrived for my appointment. A young man talked to me about the work before it was done. I wasn’t pressured into buying anything or any other work being done. I waited only 15-20 minutes and the work was done. I would definitely return to them with any future rock chip repairs.

Unfortunately a very poor experience. Just acquired a car that had a small rock chip filled recently by Safelite, but the repair was not done right and the windshield started cracking again. The technician admitted that they were at fault and could see they did a poor job fixing it, but said since I wasn't the one who had it repaired there's nothing they will do to help me. They advised me to just let the crack grow and break completely and then come back and pay for a new windshield. Seems like a real scam... Don't take your car here for chip repair unless you want to be buying a new windshield in a few months when the resin fails to hold and the damage is unrepairable.
