I have been coming to this pharmacy for 12 years. Today I will not be coming back. The staff was rude and insensitive. I have never been asked to show proof of insurance to process a prescription! I have always paid cash even though I do have insurance. I lost my insurance card and they act like I just don't get to fill my prescription! Really people? Please do better. Standing there with a raging fever two ear infections and a sinus infection! Do you think I can't afford the 30$$. Not to mention I can hear everyone back there talking about it! I don't have to have insurance to buy a prescription. But you made it seem like I couldn't. I will not be back. *I had to leave at least one star.

I hate putting reviews and especially placing my name with them, but I have never felt a review was deserved more. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever gone through for only two generic prescriptions over a year's span. Staff are rude, will hang up on you during the call, never call back, will leave you on hold for 45 minutes and then hang up on you, talk to you in a rushed insensitive tone, and more. Their texting system never works, and it doesn't matter if you know your prescription number because even their phone system to renew a prescription doesn't work. They also gave me a $180 medication I was allergic to (shouldn't that be in your system?) and wouldn't refund nor dispose of it for me after only one week. I have cried to a pharmacist in this store. I have been so nice and patient to every person working here and still have never felt like a client, patient, or human to them. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for any kind of prescription. I write this review hoping it saves someone the energy and time, as I wish I had taken the reviews seriously before transferring here. I understand everyone is short staffed and overworked, but that is no reason to treat people (especially people who need medication) poorly.

The pharmacy tech was running around and all herky-jerky. Kept telling me to take my items to the front, then rings them up, got it wrong, then tells me 3 more times about taking my glasses to the front. I think she's taking samples or is on one. Strange. It wasn't even busy at all.

Everyone there is inept. Send messages your stuff is ready and it's not. Put medications back on the shelf before the pickup date, so you have to submit your request all over again. Request refill and they never have it in stock, common medications mind you. Put stuff on auto refill without asking and causing a cluster with the insurance. Plus some meds are as needed, not daily, so I will tell you when I want it. Close the window in your face even though it is not 1:30 yet. And to top it all off when we requested they transfer to a different pharmacy they either deliberately or on purpose, screwed up the prescription. Created a tangle with my insurance. Thanks for nothing RiteAid.

I have been coming to Rite-Aid for over 30 years for shopping and subscriptions. I love the consistent care that I receive over the years. Rite-aid is one of my favorite stores and pharmacies.

If you are within 15 minutes of them going to lunch they will not serve you even if you use pay and go. To add insult to injury even after they were informed that they were no longer my pharmacy they refilled all of my prescriptions and then they transfered the wrong prescription

I called several times to get status of prescription and phone rang several times and no answer. Waited about 30 minutes and called again and I was told to hold, no one ever answered the call.Terrible pharmacy customer service.

Went in the night before Easter and Zack and Liz were lifesavers. Definitely recommend this location. Super friendly and helpful. Rock on Zach and Liz.

3rd time in 2 months pharmacy staff shut down pharmacy for lunch 10 min early with customers in line. Customer service is terrible!!!

The Rite Aid on Steptoe St. in Kennewick, Washington has one of the rudest pharmacy technicians. Her name is Diane and she provides terrible customer service and is incompetent. She also doesn’t wear her mask properly, which is extremely irresponsible because she’s dealing with sick customers coming in to pick up prescriptions.

Reviews are correct. Pharmacy is slow and unprofessional. Drive through is still closed. I waited a couple of hours for my prescription to be filled and it was not ready when I went. No problem, I could return later that day. When I get there, one order had still not been filled. When asked why, they told me the doctor hadn't entered the correct instructions for the medication, so they had to reach back out to the urgent care. The medication was an ointment. They needed better instructions for a topical cream. They waited until the urgent care was closed to reach out. For clarification on instructions. For a bottle of antibiotic cream... Then they gave me a lecture on why filling it could cost them their jobs. Personally, I think their professionalism and pace of work should already satisfy that criteria. I have to return again at some unspecified time, after that, I won't be returning to this pharmacy.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I called 30 THIRTY!!!! times just to be put on hold and then hung up on after several minutes of being on hold. I have to call to verify my prescriptions are ready because even when I receive a text that they are, they aren’t when I go to pick them up. In addition, the drive through is never open and is shown as “out of order” every time I go so I have to stand in line for 30 minutes with all of my kids just to be told it isn’t ready and to come back. This pharmacy is the worst. Please educate your pharmacists on how to properly put a patient on hold and pluses update your text notifications. If the Rx isn’t ready, don’t tell your customers that they are. Pretty simple!!!
