Had to use to obd scan tool. I was used to giving my license and getting the codes I needed, but this young white guy asked no questions just went and got it and proceeded towards the door till I asked if they didn’t give it to the customers and he said “not anymore” he proceeded to go too fast instead of waiting till I opened the door, got the codes and went in, I followed and he told me the code which was an evap emissions leak which I knew about but I had a code about the alternator last night as the battery light in my dash came on, I was trying to get the code again to do research anyways… this guy then proceeded to tell me it’s the gas cap which was already replaced. Definitely need to educate your employees on basic customer service skills like explaining services, asking questions about the problem etc was a poor experience, he then printed out the code as I was leaving and I told him no it’s useless to me. Educate and train your employees better. I get he’s young but unless it’s his first day and he was trained poorly I’m sorry bad experience. Greet, ask questions, confirm issue it’s not hard to interact and help problem solve.

I had gone in to get a replacement car battery 2 weeks ago, I had the manager there replace it for me on the spot. Fast forward two weeks my car won’t start or show any lights on my dash. My dad tightened the connectors and it worked fine. Do not let Oriellys swap your parts, they do not do a good job.

It seemed like the salesperson was young, naive, a touch rude, halfway helpful and only slightly interested in making the sale. (Failed) oil filter,oil, and brake cleaner. I apologize for interrupting your conversation the two of you were having. Sorry to mess with your time. Maybe try the bathroom next time so you guys can have a better conversation there.

the gentleman were super polite the problem was the three of them were completely uneducated about anything to do with lights on a vehicle I asked all three of them if they had any knowledge they said not really they were new not trying to dog on this O'Reilly store but there must be a reason why there's nobody in the parking lot

Shouldn't have to stand here 8+ minutes for someone competent to get off the phone to return a rented item. Cashiers should be able to do cashier work. OR....get off the phone and attend to your job duties
