Not a very good selection because it's a smaller store, but a lot cleaner than the last few times I've been in this store.

This location is due for some maintenance and some better customer service. Floor is always dirty and dingy. Air vents are absolutely covered in years of dust and look like they have never been cleaned. Lines are always very long to check out and only seem to have one cashier most of the time rarely calling for help. Cashiers are never very friendly and seem to not want to be there. The staff working the aisles never speak to the customers and one time asked me to move while looking so they could stock the shelf. If you're looking for some items they carry at a low price, this is the place. If you're looking for some customer service and a decent place to shop, this is not the place for you.

I was the Kennewick, WA location around 9am on 12/12. The cashier named BRENDA was beyond rude and the worst cashier ive ever dealt with. I had a basket with 10 things and my reusable tote bag from home in the basket. She asked if I had a bag, I said "yes it's in the basket". She told me to take it out and place it on the other side of her. Then she scanned my stuff, throwing most of it onto the counter and chipping a Christmas decoration, leaving me to bag it. The entire time she was smacking large piece of gum and yelled at me "Are you paying cash or card?!", in such an arrogant tone the customer in line after me even laughed and mouthed the word "wow" at me in reaction to the way she yelled at me. This is not the first time I've had similar issues with this same lady! While she was checking me, she yelled at another lady who brought her basket back up. You all should talk to her about how she is with customers, perhaps re-train her in the do's and don'ts of customer service or at least ask her to behave like a civilized human while on the clock. And be careful who you hire to work with PEOPLE in the future. Sick to my stomach whenever I walk in and see her at the register.

They are supposed to open at 8 but don't unlock the doors even when people are standing outside in the cold for 30 minutes highly unprofessional and unpleasant.

This dollar tree store is the worse of all the Tri cities stores. The managers don't know their policies, try to embarrass you when the customer knows more about their policy then they do. The manager and cashier's are rude . But seeing their example of leadership it explains the cashier's accepted behavior towards customers. I get it's a rough neighborhood but you should not judge a book by it's cover. Not everyone customer is a Karen or out to steal. They always have long long lines and not enough cashier's. Myra the manager is rude and would not give me district mgr infor. I be calling the district manager on this location . Carlos (Mgr) canal store is amazing & runs that store very good. He and his cashier's exceed expectations & always greet anyone that walks in their store. Love love love the canal location.

It always takes so long to get checked out. Doesn't seem to matter what time of day. They really need to use their checkers when it's busy.

This store just seems to get better and better. The stuff they have in here is unbelievable, like potting soil, little gardening tools, potting buckets, seeds, and gloves. i mean, you name it they have it. Granite it. Some things are worth a dollar and don't last, but i believe they have more things now days that do last. I believe anyone who wants to save money should come here before they go shopping. Zip lock bags, pots, and pan dividers so they don't scratch, baby oil, dog treats, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cards, and all sorts of food. I haven't tried any frozen foods yet, though. It is the kind of gadget that you need for your kitchen cookie sheets, bowls, glasses, and tissue. I mean, you need to check it out. It's come a long way. Reading glasses and batteries, I could go on and on. Also, i noticed that if you're a pop drinker, they have TALL cans of soda for only a dollar at any gas station they are almost $3 so you do the math, what a deal huh! Also, if you're lucky enough to get the cashier Veronica, she gets you in and out in no time. Not only that, but she's very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Thank you, Veronica, and to all the other workers, the place is always so clean and organized. I love that!

Just coming out of the kennewick store. Both lines they had open were long. I get up to the register and start placing my items on the counter. The girl at the register tells me she’s closed and to go to register 2. I take my items off the counter and proceed to go stand in the long line at register 2. A man comes up to her counter after I’d already left and she proceeds to check him out. I immediately ask for a manager, Sky, who comes out the back. She apologized for the girl at the register and takes me to an unused register to check me out. Oh and I am black but of course it would be wrong for me to say discrimination right. Everyone in line on register 2 was a witness to this. And yes hoping corporate sees this. Sky wouldn’t give me the girls name.

I was in dollar tree today and observed the cashier not serve a young black woman who was in line waiting. This cashier should be fired for her obvious discrimination and should not represent dollar tree in any fashion. I was so disgusted with her behavior that I might not come back to this store in Kennewick.

This store is something else. I have been here multiple times and my most recent visit secured I will go to other dollar trees instead. Not only are the cashiers always super rude, no one can use the restroom, but also now because they are having theft problems. Instead of increasing employment for loss prevention and having better practices surrounding theft this store takes it out on the customers. By refusing customers to bring in and walk around with their own bags. One of the women literally yelled at my child about it then got at me about it when I got to the front. So, now customers have no choice, but to risk leaving their bags with cashiers who won't watch them or purchase their bags.

Cashier (Brenda) was rude. Told us to move our bag as she was not able to touch it...yet she can handle our items? Also reminded us that carts with a pole couldn't leave the store. Well, that's an easy way to get 16 cents for supposedly reusable bags!! We won't be back after today's experience. Can go to a different dollar tree across town and be treated far better. Unbelievable!!
