Thoroughly enjoyed shopping in this jewelry shop, loved the estate pieces. Have taken more than a couple home with me. Also has a nice Native American collection.

Life is life and once in a while things just don't go as planned even with the best of intentions and notes and sketches. What matters most is what happens then. Well, at Desert Gem there was a mishap with my most sentimental piece and they worked so hard to get it right and didn't give up. He was so apologetic and understanding that I had to have it just right. I really couldn't have asked for more and I appreciate the wonderful customer service.

I went in to get a new o-ring and chain for my crucifix, and I was quite satisfied. I ended up getting a sterling silver chain. The owner was nice and very knowledgable. Definitely would recommend.

Love Vince, He did did my wedding set 16 years ago! I couldn't love it more today than the day I got it! He was very affordable and friendly. Have used him for several other pieces since. Turn around is not always fast but always worth the wait.

This guy is a crook. I went to him for an insurance claim. He is impossible to get a hold of. After I got my ring back I took it to another jeweler to be appraised because I just didn't trust Vince. When I took it to the other jeweler they could not believe what he did. Set the prongs crooked, beat the prongs up, the stones were loose, it wasnt polished AND the stone was of a lower quality and durability than it should have been. He did not mention anything about the diamond until I asked him and he said "thats just the way it was born." The workmanship was so poor that the other jeweler called my insurance company herself to report it saying it looked like it had gone through a garbage disposal. I am currently in the process of figuring out what to do with my insurance company. I lost the diamond in March, it is now July. Do not trust the guy. He will rip you off.

I found this little store when looking for an accredited appraiser for jewlery after I got engaged. I was pleasantly surprised to find Vincent (the owner and appraiser) extremely easy to talk to and also seemed to be very trustworthy. He appraised my ring and offered to size it for me, I didn't at the time, however I did just that recently, the ring came out beautifully and I plan on having him make my wedding set for me as well. Vincent specializes in fancy colored diamonds and has a small retail area with antique and costume jewelery available as well as making custom jewlery. This is great little store!!
