My daughter and I had a gift card to Burlington, so we wanted to pop in. We got a cart but immediately my daughter needed the bathroom. The bathroom was closed and an employee said it would be at least 20 minutes. I asked if she could use the men's bathroom really quick if it was empty. Nope.
The employee saw that I was holding our (completely empty) cart and scolded us because they don't allow carts there and then she took the empty cart from my hands and wheeled it like 20 ft away.
They very obviously didn't want customers, and we left feeling very confused.
I think they have lost their marbles.

Bad customer service. Didn’t let me go into the restroom because I had a stroller with my two month old and toddler. The associate said I could not enter the restroom with a stroller and I have to carry my two month old to use the restroom. Clearly she doesn’t have empathy or children because who would even say something like that.

Terrible customer service! They literally turn off their registers at the exact minute of closing, and claim it’s completely out of their control. If you’re still waiting in line when it’s closing time … oh well .. too bad for you. Come back tomorrow. I’m not even joking. As crazy as it sounds, this just happened to me during my last visit last week. I was trying to buy a pair of flip flops, but was turned away at the register cuz the computers had supposedly shut down at the stroke of 11:00 p.m. and nothing could be done to help me! Talk about bad business! I went to Marshall’s the next day .. problem solved.
I’ve always been a fan of Burlington. They have a reasonably good selection in every department, and the prices are right. This specific location was messier than most. It was sub-par for sure, but still a decent store overall. Just make sure you’re shopping during the day, when it’s not close to closing time! I also recommend you don’t expect any help, or need to use the ladies room. They are “short staffed”, don’t you know?? Not enough employees to clean the facilities. That’s what I was told anyway. Surprisingly, I still like shopping at this store. I must be crazy!!!

Today, I visited your store with my special needs child. Upon checking out, he was in a full blown melt down. I'm unsure if any of you are familiar with autism, but they are a very special human being. That being Said, my mother tried to put the cart outside with my special needs son to get him safely to the car during his melt down. Your door watchers would not allow her to leave the store with the cart. That means I had to carry my special needs son, flailing around and potentially risking dropping him on the concrete because you wouldn't allow a special accommodation for a special needs child. Highly disappointed with your store. My family will most definitely avoid you since you could care less about the safety of a special needs child and more about your dang shopping cart.

A lot of theft , and druggies. Everything is scattered around everywhere and a lot of stuff is missing items that go to it from theft! It’s a okay store overall , some employees definitely need to pay better attention at checkout though! They always leave the security tags on our stuff
