I had a tire issue on my way down from Seattle to Portland. Stopped by Bob’s because it was by the gas station. While they didn’t have my tire size in stock they went out of their way to check neighboring stores for a tire and also put on my spare for no extra cost! Very nice people who work there, would stop by again.

I took my truck in to have u joints changed in rear driveline. While they were working on it I saw that the mechanic was banging on it quite aggressively with a hammer. I spoke with Ken, the service manager about it and said I didn't think it was appropriate. After I got it back there was a noticeable vibration at freeway speeds. So, the shop said that one of the u joints was tight. So they replaced both of them again. The vibration was still there. I took Ken for a drive and he said he concurred with me about the vibration. He said they could send the driveline to a driveline shop and have it balanced , but it would take a few days. It was Friday afternoon and I needed my truck for work the next week, so I told Ken that I would do it myself.
A few weeks later I pulled the driveline out and took it to Driveline Express. I noted several hammer marks on the yokes of the driveline. The driveline shop said that the front yoke had been reassembled 180 degrees out of time. They rotated the front yoke 180 degrees and rebalanced the unit. It cost approximately $105.
So I went back to Lil car Hospital and asked for a refund for the re balance cost. They said the hammer marks on the driveline were "normal" (they are not)
And that the front yoke, being 180 degrees out, would have no effect on the driveline. I would assume that Driveline Express might know more about this than the Mechanic that did the work..
They would not re imburse me but offered to put the $105 on my account, and I could use it towards work down the road. This was not satisfactory, as I obviously won't do work again with a shop that won't stand by their work.
Eventually, through negotiations, they gave me 5 quarts of Amsoil and an oil filter. That's the best I could do.

Very kind staff. Lady who works the desk is fun to talk with. They are always available to answer the phone quickly and answer questions. They did amazing work on my car, but they are highly priced. I would say though if you can afford it that it's worth the $$. They did a very thorough assessment on my car to find the problem and made in depth notes along with pictures of every area of my car and anything that needs done with urgency level. The online profiles they make makes it easy. They also are contracted with DCYF for families with open cases( child protective services) and accept vouchers for car repairs from case workers. The process for the voucher to become approved and be ready and available can take up to a few weeks.

Super professional super nice great value. Finding a good mechanic is like having a good doctor. You need to be able to put your trust in them and I do with Bob's little car hospital. A+++

Brought my truck in for a small oil leak. I needed it earlier than initially promised and the folks at Bob's came thru in a big way. Found and fixed the leak and I was able to still meet my commitment.

since working with Bob's Lil Car Hospital directly for the last 2 years (not through another family member) I appreciate their direct, honest approach. I feel able to trust my vehicle and myself into their care for repairs.

I took my truck here because of a cranking no start issue. We’d spent months trying to track down the issue but couldn’t. They diagnosed the same issues that we already tried and it didn’t work. After a few weeks I decided to get my truck back because they haven’t been able to figure it out either. I ended up paying them $300+ for no results. When I went to get my truck, I couldn’t open the driver’s door. They’d broken it.
I know this sounds all bad. But the staff was great and easy to work with. They were very understanding and provided us with everything that we asked for. (Except fixing the truck) They allowed us to put the replaced part back into the truck to see if it was a bad part we ordered. My dad had taken his Jeep here at the same time and it was fixed quickly without issues. I would recommend bringing a vehicle here 100%. My truck is just a special kind of issue. They tried.
