About Louis Rasmussen Beach Park
The park is a nice, clean, calm place with beautiful views along the Columbia River. It is a nice walking area, a new play structure, grass area, volleyball and basketball court, and a playground. Public restrooms and a dog walking area are available. Plenty of parking to explore the sandy fishing/boating beach and the River cruise stop. Shelters are first come first served for a party. Bring a sweater if it is cloudy or windy. Gelato is a must have at the new Mountain Timber Market. The area is nice for a picnic or senior photos.

Nice walk,fish pretty much what ever. Be careful if you drive down to sand. Its deep , don't spin your tires

We love it here! Just had my daughters senior photos taken in that area. The new Mountain Timber Market is a beautiful addition. The Gelato is a must have!!

It’s a very nice, clean, and calm park. Even in the summer, it can get cooler if it’s cloudy or windy, so be sure to bring a sweater or something to keep warm. The shelters are available for everyone—if you’re planning a party, keep in mind that they aren’t available for rent. It’s first come, first served!
