“I trust Dr. Bob Wright and his staff to give me compassionate, professional advice (and options) when it comes to my pets' care, no matter their age or malady. I don't trust any other vet with my beloved animals. Only wish he were a farm animal vet, too! (If wishes were fishes, there would a a hundred Bob Wrights offering his compassionate care to all Tacoma-area animal lovers who want to take optimal care of the critters in their lives.)”

6920 27th St W, University Place“Dr. Bernhardt & Jaleesa are wonderful and made this experience such a positive one. My partner and I brought our cats in for their wellness exams and vaccinations. The process of scheduling, arriving for the appointment, and the appointment itself went so smoothly! Dr. Bernhardt provided detailed nutritional/diet information around helping my chonky cat lose some weight, insight and information on a dental exam for each of my cats & recommendations for preventative flea medication. I forgot to ask about the medication while checking out of our appointment & followed up with an email recently. Alyssa responded so promptly with information and direction on getting the medication for my cats. I'm so happy that we found Fircrest Vet Hospital and am so appreciative of the care from all of the staff!”

6715 Regents Blvd, University Place“I ended up bringing my dog here after getting horrid service at Commencement Vet on 6th. The vet here was phenomenal, didn't dismiss our concerns. Went step by step over every procedure and what would be happening next. They care about their animal patients here, they aren't just in it for the money.”

3819 N 25th St, Tacoma“Our family's experience with North End Pet Hospital has been wonderful from the very start when we brought our kitten and adult cat in for their vaccines and routine check-ups. Everyone, from the office receptionists to Dr. Sarkez, has been very pleasant to work with. The staff take great care in ensuring their clients and pets are comfortable. Pricing for services is fair and well-detailed. Thank you, North End Pet Hospital, for your help and expertise in keeping our girls healthy!”

I will never go anywhere else. They've seen us for 8 kitties now. From kitten stages, multiple health issues, all the way to help with saying goodbye. Would give them 10 stars.”

7210 Bridgeport Way W, Lakewood“I took my pup to this vet until we moved to Hawaii. They have great pet insurance options and very friendly staff from the doctors to the assistants. Good parking. Can't asked for a better vet experience. Also, moving to Hawaii can be very complicated due to all the requirements, but chambers creek vet hospital was amazing in making everything happen. Also got my pup neutered, microchipped, and professional dental cleaning here. I will miss this vet so much.”
“Brought my kitty in because of a lump and a cold. I really appreciated the understanding and support of the staff--especially since I was terrified of bad news. The veterinarian was very transparent, honest, and thorough as she explained what she was doing and planing. The lump turned out to only be a cyst, so kitty is good! I am switching to this vet for their regular check ups and boosters. It's affordable and I feel like everyone here really cared about the animals and families who come in.”
“Very busy Veterinary Practice. I had to wait a while to check in and out. I appreciated the call from the veterinarian as I was informed of lab results and the outcome of the procedures. I did not feel as if the vet needed to hurry thru the phone call to move on. I was pleased that a tech came out and discussed again the procedure, expectations in the next couple of days, medications, and asked if I had any questions. I was happy that all that was done before bringing out my pets. I felt that my dog was cared for as she is tiny and underwent a surgical procedure. I had mentioned to the tech that the previous year, my dog had an allergic reaction following the same procedure the next day. He did go back and discussed it with the doctor. I liked the follow-up, though I was disappointed that there were apparently no notes in her chart that I had reported it last year. I was also a little annoyed that my female dog was referred to by the vet as a male, though I had corrected him previously in an email. A quick look at my account would have identified her gender for the doctor prior to talking with me. Overall, I am satisfied with Tahoma Veterinary Hospital.”
“Friendly, quick to respond, but were not able to help me with a current pet problem. I've gone to them many times in the past for medical care for my pet house rabbits, and will go back again in future. Dr. Ray DeCent is experienced with most regular rabbit issues.i needed a specialist for the current problem though.”

“This is an excellent place to take your pets for care! I recently moved to Tacoma and I am so happy I found Button Vet! Every interaction I have had with the team at Button Vet has been 10/10 amazing. Their front desk staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The vet tech who saw my cat and I was also equally helpful, friendly, and clearly loves pets. My cat Malory was seen by Dr Jeremiah who really took the time to answer all the questions I had and while also calming my cat down. Dr Jeremiah took a personalized approach to Malory's care. I can really tell the staff at Button Veterinary care about and love their clients and I highly recommend them if you are in need of a vet for your furry friends!”
“I cannot thank Dr. Black enough for the care and honesty he did for me and Chuck. He was upfront with me about Chuck condition and did not pressure me into making any quick decisions. Unfortunately Chuck needed to be out down, but Dr. Black reassured me I have made the right choice. Thank you again Dr. Black for releasing Chuck suffering and a huge thank you to the staff that helped me get in and out of the office. ( RIP Chuck)”
“We really appreciate Dr.Dugan and staff, not only for there kindness and professionalism , but their genuine concern and love of animals .(especially Tolerance Of the 2 leg kind have been there' for use every time I needed them . Words”
“They also got my cat in for an urgent visit when she had a surprise laceration and needed surgery! I really think they saved my cats life. The front desk is great and the clinical care is excellent. One of the front desk staff gave my 4 year old a toy and remembered his name when I called for a follow-up appointment for my puppy. Thanks for the good care, from Phil, Cali and "Drill"”
“We brought Scooter in for his annual checkup and shots. The person at the front desk was very friendly, Dr. Johnson’s assistant was very thorough and helped Scooter not to be scared and we were so impressed with Dr, Johnson, not only was she professional but her love for dogs was very evident - she sat on the floor with Scooter making him feel at ease. She was very thorough with her exam and questions and explained everything to us. Definitely very happy with Soundview Veterinary Hospital! Pat and David Reinhart”

12212 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma“I am grateful for how attentive the vet and her assistant was to our furry companion Papito, who happens to be a rat. He has been very I’ll for 2 weeks and unfortunately I had a hard time finding a vet clinic that would see him. Thankfully the staff at this clinic made it possible for him to be seen right away and handled him so lovingly and genuine concern. I was very pleased with the experience.”
“Great care for our shihtzu !! Our experience with VCA has always been top tier. They are incredibly thorough and knowledgeable in what they do and can’t thank them enough for the care we received. Highly recommended.”

5039 Pacific Ave, Tacoma“Amazing staff, everyone makes you feel welcome and you can tell they’re going to treat you and your animals with care. Treated my animal urgently and apologized for a delay for only waiting 10 minutes (so short compared to other clinics). Transparent and cooperative about pricing to fit yours and your pets needs as best they can. 100% recommend”
“I love the service this place offers. I am a low income person and I have used this company several times. My cats needed to be fixed and they were wonderful. I am a caregiver and I have sent my clients to this organization. They accept the spay/neuter coupons from tacoma human society. The human society voucher is first come first serve and as funds are available but even with out that help they are very great price. I only had one problem with a new puppy I had adopted he is a very nervous and scared dog they could not neuter him because he needed to be on anti anxiety medication and I had to get him fixed with help from pasado.”

3322 S Union Ave, Tacoma“I’m not one to leave reviews but I couldn’t not leave a review after my experience. The other night my 2 year old beagle got sick and was coughing almost every 2 minutes and hacking up a white foam. I kinda figured it was kennel cough. But it was so persistent and sounded so violent I was pretty concerned. The urgent care vet centers couldn’t get him in until almost 12 hours later and wanted 250 dollars just to see him. I waited and called around. Most vets didn’t pick up but when I called union avenue vet hospital, they picked up right away. They had an opening about 30 minutes from when I called them so I drove over and they checked my dog out. They tell you price quotes before they do anything and don’t push any unnecessary testing to jack up your bill. They were professional, kind, efficient, and affordable. They reached out to see how my dog is doing and I’m happy to say he is much better! Happy to have found an honest and good veterinary clinic. I’ll be bringing my pets here every time.”

2505 S 80th St, Tacoma“I came here not knowing id walk out in hysterics. My cat had xrays that were suspect of showing lung cancer. I went in their will all the optimism of the world and left hyperventilating and heart broken. The initial exam was really pricey but overall, the vet was able to give me the terminal news without making me do unneeded tests. Nothing they could test her for would cure her and thats what the vet let me know plainly. I’ve read on here about the front receptionist desk being very cold, and I would say I have a much different experience. Kendra where ever you are, you deserve a raise for how kindly you treated me. I went in alone to the appointment and i could not stop hyperventilating or crying once i found out. I dont think ive ever been that upset in public and everyone treated me with compassion. Especially Kendra. She took my payment, left the room and came back in and asked to hug me. It was really nice to be comforted by a stranger when my whole world was falling apart. I never really know how to act in these situations, and they were all very supportive. I hope to never come back here but my experience was in hindsight of the horrible news, was awesome.Rest in peace to my Binxe baby 2013-2024”
“I had to take my cat in to be euthanized today. The staff was very kind and sympathetic. The vet on duty made time for me and answered all my questions. Even though they don't offer emergency walk-in, they responded to my phone message in a timely manner and found a way to work me in. The cost was literally 100s of dollars less than the quote I received nearby. I'm extremely grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spanaway Veterinary Clinic.”

5929 Westgate Blvd Ste F, Tacoma“If you like straight to the point answers with confidence in what he’s doing because he’s been a Vet loving animals for 48 years- this is the place. He took my extremely ill dog in when all other Vet’s were still “appointment only” / “wait in your car” and the emergency hospitals were at capacity. This wasn’t my Vet, yet we were welcomed with open arms, treated as if we were and given immediate care. He knew right away what was wrong and did a blood test to confirm/rule anything else out. My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and was back to herself within days. I just hope Dr. Walia never retires- it’s hard to find Dr’s with this kind of care anymore.”
“Very speedy & nice people. Upset to see prices jump significantly & are not as ideal as taking my baby to her vet & paying an extra $10-20 for a full vet to do a wellness check —not worth the money…”
“Don't let that list of charges fool you , we frequently drop 3 to 5 hundred dollars, and they do not do a lot of things due to limited staff or just something they can't do.but they do try to do a good job.”
