I’m so upset right now!
In the past, we’ve had great experiences here, but not today!
After 2 hours ands 45 minutes, I picked up my pup-this was after being told it would be a 90 minute appointment so I stayed nearby….
She looks like someone’s child got ahold of the scissors. She has bangs with no other facial hair trimmed, so she looks like that little character from “the incredibles”. I’m so upset that I found the manager and asked if anyone else could fix the mess.
Her body hair was barely trimmed & her tail was all different lengths. Hot Mess.
Instead of apologizing and jumping into fixing her, there were excuses and “wondering if she had time”. Well, I wasn’t leaving and coming back!
At the 2:25 mark I went in to check on the process because I thought my texting wasn’t working. She was still working on the dog she was working on when we dropped our pup off. So this mess took 20 minutes to make.
I can’t believe I actually PAID for this.
I wish I’d have brought my phone with me because pictures would be great to share. Be careful who you book an appointment with at this location.

Like another customer said in comments they will twist your words to refuse grooming canceled one appointment for me then rescheduled and canceled that one but never rescheduled after when I walked in to see if i could get my pup groomed was told by the grooming manager that I was referred out which I was never told by employees never seen someone lie on a customer for no reason smh and now waiting to hear back from corporate

These employees need to stop thinking they’re full medical professionals. Every time I went in to buy cat food, they would shame which one I was buying and said I was killing my cat, and then would proceed to tell me how I should treat my cats (very severe) medical condition. It wasn’t even a one-time thing, almost every visit.
And then denying my dogs groom because she takes allergy meds, which isn’t even on their banned med list. No other Petco location has any issues with it and said it’s completely ok.

This used to be a really great place for taking our pup to get groomed and you could tell our pup was so happy to get her wash, trim, nails buffed and the works. However, since they lost our go to groomer Lily. It has been a very different experience. Our pup is a huge sweetheart, overly friendly and big people person, with a good sense of people! So to see our pup REALLY SCARED and fighting against going into the salon to get groomed and not getting the full service we specifically pay Vital Care Premeire for is unfortunate and raises some red flags. I really didn't appreciate the comment after our last visit about some groomers caring more about our dog than others so therefore that equates to whether or not your pet gets good or bad service. I don't want to support a place that isn't passionate and caring to all animals and If as a groomer you can say that to a customer about our sweet pup, then maybe you have no business as a groomer or in customer service. I don't usually write negative or very lengthy reviews but seeing our pup uncommonly scared of certain people there and having that said to us really did not sit well with me. I'm a huge advocate for the health and welfare of all animals (especially since they don't have a voice for themselves!) and treating people with kindness and respect.

Our dogs was groomed by Lily for the first time and she was seriously amazing. Took great care of our dogs I gave her some notes beforehand and she did everything I asked perfectly. Our dog looked great when we picked them up. Koko bean and Shawty looking forward to see Ms Lily again ❤️❤️❤️????

I went for 2 specific items. Had none. One sold out, one not carried, and one I bought at sales person recommendation to discover once home I can't use it.

“Sheeley” cut my dogs nail too short and we ended up with a hurt, bleeding, and soaking wet dog, and no apology. 100% recommend looking elsewhere to be groomed, as I would never trust my dog in their hands again. Not to mention, the lead they put on my dog was choking him when we came to pick up my dog. Do not go here.

I have used the groomers twice and I have been extremely happy with the results. My Shiba HATES baths at home, but they take such good care of him that he doesn't make a fuss at all. When I pick him up they let me know how he did and he is always smelling good, is clean,and looks amazing. The ladies are kind and greet me with a smile every time I visit. I won't take my pup anywhere else.

Came here to SPECIFICALLY get my dog's nails clipped and figured while I was there I'd get her groomed, deshedded, and bathed. It wasn't until AFTER I paid that they told me they couldn't cut her nails and when I got into my car she was completely covered in hair. Absolute SCAM

Too obvious the groomers don't look like they want to work. That's how I felt and other reviews prove it. I understand and respect whatever their grooming policy is but they need to inform the customers while making appointments. Waisted my time to get there and kicked out.

The worse place to go and waste your money, I took my husky there and they kept him for almost 4 hours and gave him back to us all wet and so much hair on him plus he was smelling worse and just for more info we paid $70 for the premium package

This is a great location and service to have on a military installation. They have a very wide variety of pet supplies and my personal favorite- a self serve dog wash that doesn't break the bank. For $18, they supply shampoo, conditioner, 3 types of brushes, and 3 small towels. Best of all, there is a blow dryer and ZERO MESS in your bathtub at home. I've seen some bad reviews about unhelpful or rude employees but all of my experiences have been positive. We have done the drop-off grooming service once. They did a wonderful job but at ~$80 for our big German shepherd, it's not something we can do often.

Convenient and close to the surrounding area. Every time I've went to the store the staff there is eager to help.
