“If you need something they might be able to order it for you if their supplier can get it. They have a good selection and awesome prices though so most times you only need stop one time”
“Crab risotto was phenomenal!!!! Very small menu, wish they offered burrata with the prosciutto starter, it had an awesome glaze too. Overall great vibes and friendly staff!”
“McCallum and Sons was voted the world's best Whisky shop! Not only is Glen and his team super knowledgeable, they have an amazing selection of spirits from around the world. I highly recommend you make a visit! The interior is stunning!”
“Always really busy when I come in they also have like the most employees I've seen at a grocery store before considering how small it is, really good prices for snacks and meats also a good cheese selection but canned foods or frozen foods are really expensive for not much quantity.”
“I’ve always loved this world market and I’m so glad it’s still open! But this time was made even better by Gail! She was so amazing, kind, thoughtful and cheerful with every customer she met. She took additional time at the register with everyone to make sure their needs were met and other customers weren’t getting upset. It was a beautiful display of human kindness all around and I wish there were more people like Gail in this world. You could teach a class on her customer service and kindness. Thank you world market, but especially, thank you Gail!”
“Miss Ehrin is exceptional in cutting my curly hair. She takes care to provide professional service and I'm learning to love my curly hair because the cut is wonderful.”
“Compared with other liquor stores that I've been in, this one is by far the cleanest, very well organized and easy to find what I want. Well stocked witha great selection. The people who work here are always freindly and helpful.”
“What a great Salon! Knowledgeable, stylists, comfortable waiting area, the stations are private so you can easily consult and converse without noisy blowdryers or other services on either side of you . I highly recommend this place!”
“I came in to get some scuba tanks filled in Tacoma. The free 3 hour moorage was enough time for me to get them filled, get some groceries, and eat lunch at the marina.”

“Ilias was super knowledgeable and gave my wife and I a nice little tour of their operation as well as letting us taste their wonderful selection of wines and brandys. I would recommend this wonderful little nook of a distillery to any wine/brandy lovers.”
“Thank you because you're being a liquor store here for quite some time but it was a lot smaller when it was state ran. I don't recall this one still being there I thought it had closed but maybe it didn't. It is for sure quite bigger and it has a lot of that household grocery items in it which is convenient for people that live close by. The staff was friendly they sell Lotto there. Nice to know it's there if you're in the area.”
9:30AM - 10PM
5700 100th St SW Ste 470, Lakewood“Nice young man behind the counter tonight. This was my first time in here. I need something as a prize for a mens game at a baby shower. I needed help picking something out since I am not a drinker. He suggested a gift set that had a bottle and cup for only like $23.”
“This place is amazing, the staff there are always very pleasant to interact with. They are all very knowledgeable and if they aren't they ask each other for feedback and recommendations. Don't pay any mind to Jay Anthony. He was engaged and decided to try and hit on another one of the associates there. They all called him out in the store while I was there and he was following her around like a puppy dog. Don't let his personal problems interfere with forming your own opinion of this place.”
“I Quit drinking I think in the year 2009 and I'm a walking miracle as far as I'm concerned because I'd never thought that I would not drink. I was been drinker. I used to drink 456 days straight Bixby until my body gave out.
In the end. I remember crying For some emotional drunk reason, but I got to the point where I begged God to take the compulsion to drink away from me.And it happened for me within the next two weeks after that I didn't believe God existed before then.
Yeah, I didn't expect it response like that. But, anyway, that's my own personal experience and it's a liquor store and none of there was no pressure to buy anything.I was there to get something for somebody else.Good Variety”
10AM - 9:30PM
3208 S 23rd St, Tacoma“This is a huge store and our first time here. There was a booth offering free samples of select wines and liquor. The host was very nice and we bought one of the wine. The host also recommended a reasonably priced wine from Washington since we were visiting & want a local wine.”
9AM - 10PM
707 S 56th St, Tacoma“I usually only come here when it's too insane to go somewhere else, but I have to say... this experience has been different. The employees are always great. This time it felt like a celebration, a GM (I ASSUME) named Daniel was engaging and friendly! When you walk into a store and it feels like a neighborhood market, well, let's just say I'll be walking in again.”
5AM - 12AM
1302 S 38th St, Tacoma“This is nit dangerous, or the " second gustiest" Safeway in Tacoma. it's actually a hugely busy Safeway that is pretty decent as they go. not as ups ale as the Proctor one, it's better than 56th, nice than Hilltops and Stadium's ( if that is still existing) and has security guards at night. I've lived five blocks from it for 9 years. Yes, it used to be a little run down, but it's much nicer and very safe now.”
“The staff at this Safeway typically offer great service, the store appears to be as clean as can be with constant human traffic in and out. I wish the hot soup area was always labeled and had more than just one or two options. (Last year there were usually 4 soups to choose from). Deli has good food as well, the hours of operation are also great as I often do late night shopping.”
5AM - 12AM
1624 72nd St E, Tacoma“This is just a basic Safeway. Nothing special. I like this one better than the on e on E 38th St. Easy in and out. Have most basic needs. Nothing special just basic.”
“Only reason that's not a five star review is due to the lack of parking space. Seems like on any given day all year every year you must troll the lot like a vulture circling a carcass! The neighboring couple stores have private lots so the reason for the parking trouble is unknown. Butttt- I'm pleased to report after searching three stores I finally found chocolate fudge here and I cleaned them out- so sorry but now they too are without a single classic fudge in the bakery-but hey they have rocky road fudge!”
“The Class VI store on JBLM used to carry a lot of hard to find alcoholic beverages. It went through a big change of distributors when Washington State voted out the State Liquor Board. Now all we can find are the ho hum same old stuff that everyone else buys. Here's an example; We used to buy St Brendans Irish Cream in the large bottle. It's no longer available, only the small bottle, if they have it. I also find that some products we can get are often out, with using a "special order" to get it working faster than waiting for it to come in on the regular scheduled distribution.”
