Midday. One clerk going through their existence very slowly while 10 people wait in line. Shipping supplies are not restocked, empty shelves and wall hangers look on in dismay.

Came with prepaid label. Had a huge line and machines do not work. So it’s either 30min to wait to print the label or not ship

This is easily the least efficient post office I’ve ever been to. Usually only one person is working at the counters and though they’re generally pleasant, the line is ALWAYS very long. Also, management was supposed to call me back several days ago about an issue they messed up on and they still haven’t called back. Additionally, they don’t answer their phone. It will ring and ring and ring…

I come here for the drop off box - with my package prepared and ready to go. 50% of the time it's fine. The other 50% of the time the box is stuck because there's too many packages in it and the poor front desk person has a line up of 10 people and they can't go unstick it.
One time, a lady expressed frustration and the guy called past the 20 people in line that they could just put packages at the front at one of the many unstaffed stations. THANK GOD - I thought, thinking this was my new backup option. But no, there's never been a place for drop off packages after that.
If you're going to be chronically understaffed, could you at least post a backup drop off location for the people who are trying to make it easy on you??

I've had a few experiences at the USPS in Issaquah, and unfortunately, the service often leaves much to be desired. Despite having three service windows, only two are ever open, which leads to long waits, especially during midday. The staff sometimes seem unsure of how to resolve issues, such as handling lost packages, which can be frustrating.
It would be great if the management could improve the efficiency of this location and ensure all windows are staffed during busy times. As the only post office in the area, it's important for the community to have reliable and efficient service.

Pathetic experience for passport service. Lady who is handling passport application is too much irritating and inhumane. They write 12:30 to 1:30 as walk-in. But at the same time they have given appointments as well. We went there at 12:15 and was standing till 1:30. At 1:30 Lady came and told us to leave. Same thing happened for 2 days. She takes 1 hr to process one application. Very rude, pathetic service , no communication. You will just stand in queue for hrs to listen we cant process today , leave.
We went with our new born baby 2 days continuously and she did not even accommodate us. She did the same thing with many applicants .
I will say avoid this usps at any cost. Don’t even go with appointment. I saw one person arguing because they did not accept their appointment, they told we send a confirmation mail, if you dont have , we will not process even though you have booked.
Not sure who gave job to this lady. She is not qualified for this job.

Always a very long line. Yet you get to talk to your neighbors And roll your eyes together about how terrible the service is. ONE WORKER WHEN THERE ARE 20 PEOPLE IN LINE! I have not received mail since I moved from Issaquah on March 2nd 2024, When I put in a change of address to my new home. I have visited this Post Office About 5 Times to try to retrieve my mail to no Avail. I believe this is Illegal, to obstuct delivering mail to A U. S citizen, but who has time for a court case when we're busy waiting in line?!

USPS always gets bashed yet it is a backbone of our economy for more than any of our lives. Even today, growth for companies like Amazon has built its biz on the USPS and still depends on its reach across all of the US. Issaquah team is very solid and friendly.

I honestly feel bad for this staff. But it’s not like people aren’t leaving reviews to explain what is going on. This is completely on the post master. You have what might be the biggest post office west of bellevue and you have one poor innocent soul working the front by themselves. I’ve seen the line as deep as 25 and it’s completely unacceptable. The location is starting to become dirty and trash is all over the place not because the one person doesn’t care- there is no possible way to even clean when you are working like a sweat shop.
This isn’t even because of the experience I had it’s the 20 other people in front of me that were taking time out of their day to go to this post office. I would gladly say all of this to any manager who gives a rip but the odds are this is going to unseen like the other 200 one star reviews ? Do yourself a favor and go to snouqualmie, North Bend, or even Preston. Hell go to Cle Elum and enjoy the nice views on the way instead visiting this understaffed location.
An old saying my dad used to say to me. I’m not mad- I’m just disappointed.

Only one person works almost anytime. Took me 40+mins to reach to counter with just 8 ppl ahead of me.

Never enough staff. Last time I had to visit, I had to leave the line after over a full hour of waiting. It’s not the fault of the staff who are working, they just desperately need four times the number of people on duty for the workload.

Understaffed, drop box is usually clogged by 9 or 10 A.M. staff seems to be there one at a time and is overwhelmed and rude.
