When our son first enrolled (2022), the school was newly opened and we regularly encountered challenges (staff turnover, limited communication, general lack of structure). However, since late 2023 the school is under new leadership and we've been really impressed with the change -- including defined lesson plans and activities, regular updates throughout the day, clear and thorough communication from staff, and an overall happier atmosphere. As a parent, I greatly appreciate the improvements that have been made and all the effort from staff to make this a great place to learn!

There's been a lack of communication from the school to the parents. When they lost a staff member, we were give two days notice that their classroom would be shutting down until finding a replacement teacher.

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. Worse childcare!! RUN , PLEASE RUN &' take your kids somewhere else. Area manager Samantha &' Director Gladys are such rude and ugly people. They seem to care at first but , I promise you they don't! They don't value their customers, I've had the worse experience with CCY. They don't care for the children and treat their staff like trash. They literally yell at their staff!!

Poor management. Despite having an appointment , we were not able to tour the place. After waiting for 25 mins we were asked to reschedule. No one is present at the reception to give you an update.

This place has a lower than average score, so I feel compelled to share our experience. When we were searching for preschools for my three year old, the reviews really had me concerned about this place. Sounds like a lot of them were a result of the former director, although we didn't join until the new leadership team came in, so I cannot speak to that. What I can share is that this place deserves 100 out of 5 stars, and here's why:My child LOVES coming to school here. Her pre-k teachers, Miss Cynthia and Miss Kalli, are exceptional with the children and she always has amazing things to say about them every single day. Most mornings, my daughter struggles with being in a good mood (not a morning person), and Miss Cynthia is always there with a big hug and laughs, so by the time I walk out the door, my little one could care less if I'm there or not lol. Miss Kalli has the biggest heart and is always welcoming, warm, and fantastic with the kids. I couldn't ask for better adults to care for my child, honestly. The other teachers (I think she's mentioned Ms. May) are also so friendly and great with every child.I also want to brag on the newer director, Gabrielle, and her assistant director, Peiyin. They are both TOP-NOTCH with staying in communication and are prompt to respond if we ever have questions or concerns. You won't ever be wondering or left hanging if you have a question or concern. The school uses an app called Sprout About, which allows you to have live feed footage of your child UNLESS they are playing outside. It's been a great peace of mind for us as we navigate our child being away from us for the first time in her life. The app also records any accidents, how much of meals/snacks they eat, and if they have accidents. The school is VERY secured. Each family gets a code to access the building, and once in, you will check your child in/out via a tablet. The school provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack, and they will update you on how much your kid eats. The facility itself is always clean, usually has tranquil music playing, and they are excellent about sanitizing. They do not wear masks, and this is due to the fact that growing brains need to see mouth movements to learn speech and language. They follow COVID protocol and are mindful of keeping clean. We cannot thank the Children's Courtyard of Issaquah enough for being amazing. The price tag is much better than other similar schools in the area, and we found that even some of the smaller schools don't measure up to the level of service and care that this location provides. If you are on the fence, I really encourage you to give it a chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Our daughter loves it here! The pre-K teachers, Linda, Bryn and May are all excellent, and care a lot about the kids and their learning and growth.

My child has been with CCY Issaquah since January. He is still an infant, but by the end of the first month he was starting to smile and dance when we walked up to the doors and he realized where we were; he genuinely seems to enjoy his time spent at daycare. The only downside we've had has been some staffing issues that led us to having to split our time between this location and another. While that could be a major downside for other parents, I appreciated that they were able to get us set up with another location when needed and found that my son was just as loved and well cared for at both locations.Overall we are very happy with CCY and are happy to have them as part of our "village" to help us raise our child.

If you're considering putting your child into this facility, do yourself and your child a favor and don't. Turn around. I had an appt today to meet with the director to inquire about their facility and possibly register my daughter here full time. I arrived on time and went to the door and rang the bell to notify I am at the door. I waited 5mins and then I saw two faculty staff walk into the front reception and look me dead in my face and ignore me and not open the door. They both went into the faculty room and didn't come out. I rang the bell again and waited another 5mins. Two more staff came out to the front area and looked and noticed I was there waiting, and proceed to ignore me and go into their faculty office. I read these horrible reviews and still decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and be open minded because people only leave bad reviews on here. But with my experience of being ignored twice and these awful reviews, it was a sign this is not the place my daughter. I can't imagine what I would be like to discuss any kind of issue with this staff if they can't even pay attention and help someone waiting at the door.

My child has been here from the start but the experience has deteriorated significantly for various reasons I’ll list below:1. Significant turnover of the staff. You never know who will be teaching your child’s class on any given day. Children need a consistent routine and familiar face. This doesn’t happen here anymore. Our child can have upwards of 3 teachers rotate through in a day. Classrooms are also maxed out in ratio so don’t expect your child to get any real attention if needed. As I mention below, basic needs are barely met.2. Poor management - the current management, after the previous director left is struggling to manage the staff. Teachers seem unhappy and this shows in how they care for the children. Teachers seem exhausted and rotate through multiple classrooms and different children almost daily.3. Basic needs - It’s rare that my child gets regular diaper changes. More often than not, he comes home with severe diaper rash.4. Lazy staff - Some of the really great teachers have left and although there appear to be a couple good teachers left here, some of the others appear to want to do the absolute bare minimum.5. Communication - consider it non-existant. Currently the bare minimum of updates of diaper changes and meals are not being sent to parents through the app. This has been a significant shift.Overall, I’d suggest steering clear of this daycare until they resolve the issues mentioned above. Ask them about the above issues before you consider enrolling your child! I truly do hope they get things sorted out quickly as the children are suffering.

Overall, I have been happy with the daycare center. Everything is clean and new. Safety is of the utmost importance and there are lots of caring and nurturing staff. The cameras for the parents are amazing! We have been here since the beginning and my only complaint is that there is a lot of staff turnover. But, I don't think this is unique to this center. I am very grateful for the daycare workers because it is such hard work and I know my child is having a fun and stimulating day.

My family would strongly caution other families against sending their children to this facility. We had our two children enrolled since the first weeks they were open, and the experience has ranged from mediocre to unsafe. There are several factors that we have identified:1. Rampant staff turnover, from the director to individual teachers. Our children have had no fewer than 4 different primary teachers (plus backups) since they started 3 months ago.2. Safety concerns going unaddressed, particularly with physical altercations initiated by older children. When these are reported, the school's solution is to remove the victims and put them into a different classroom.3. Lack of flexibility or creative problem-solving. If a situation doesn't fit neatly into their corporate guidelines, they are not willing to work with parents, period.4. Too many children to classrooms with too few teachers - this is intermittently an issue, likely due to the high staff turnover, but contributes to an unsafe overall environment.5. Inconsistent application of rules - a high percentage of enrollees are children of staffers, which has led to some clearly preferential treatment by other staff.6. Indifference by staff, particularly teachers. They are required to adhere to lesson plans and to provide iPad updates to parents, but often this means that the children themselves are unattended, allowing problematic and sometimes violent behavior to escalate.I was thrilled when the facility opened, but after 3 1/2 months of our children attending, it is clear that there is a reason that there were openings. Do not believe their glossy handouts or sales pitch - Children's Courtyard of Issaquah does NOT prioritize the well-being of its students. I strongly advise that parents look elsewhere for their child care needs.

A gem. Been waiting patiently for a daycare to open up. This one finally did. They definitely have their struggles with everything going on, but Gladys the lady who operates it does her best to try and make things work and run smoothly. Our boys really enjoy coming here and the teachers are pleasant to talk to.I recommend checking out.

The new management team is doing a great job. I know they have their difficulties, but they are addressing them promptly.
