Pet Stores & Supplies
Mud Bay
1590 NW Gilman Blvd, IssaquahBig selection of Toys, Treats, Clothing for your pets. Different variety of animal treats and food. I personally have a chicken and 2 dogs and did leave with multiple things for them. The pricing to portion ration on food and treats is good. There is a good selection of cheap interesting treats for your dogs to expensive very unique treats. The employees were very nice and helpful, I never felt rushed or judged. Very clean and up kept on the inside. I do recommend coming here if you are in the area, me and my wife stopped by and left satisfied with what we got for our animals.

Petco
975 NW Gilman Blvd, IssaquahI went to Issaquah Petco to shop for harness and lease for my small ShihTzu. I didn’t know her needed size or how to put on some harnesses. I asked for help from Tony the employee and got the most thoughtful care I have received in a long while. He not only took the time to actually fit my baby but also pointed out pros and cons due to her size.
Mr. Manager, you have an excellent employee in TONY!

Pet Grooming
The Wizard of Paws Pet Salon
4518 Klahanie Dr SE, IssaquahLove having my multigenerational Australian Labradoodle groom here! Sheila and her staff are dogs and cats people and it shows by how much my dog loves her. He is very happy to go to WoP and greets everyone. He will specially go to Shiela to give her kisses. He always gets super nice grooming. One time that he threw up in the car after grooming (not the groomer's fault), Shiela gave me a follow-up call to make sure he is okay. During the pandemic I tried to groom him myself, it took us over 4 hours! I appreciate that Shiela does it in about 2.5 hours. The hidden gem here is self wash stations. My doodle was so calm while being shampooed and blow dry here, the opposite of getting shampoo at home. I hope their business continues to do well and they never leave the plateau!

Owens Equine
9506 240th Ave SE, IssaquahMy cat just passed away late at night. To me, I'm writing this, she has only been gone 2 hours... I feel immense grief and sorrow. I feel as though my world just turned black and all there is, is the nothingness.I continue to be in shock as I'm writing this, but if I don't keep my mind occupied right now, I have to face the reality of this emptiness inside me.I called the vet and she answered within a few rings. She answered my questions and was patient through my sobbing. She was calm the whole time and truly compassionate throughout the whole process. We didn't know what to do so my husband just brought her in her carrier. She asked if he had a blanket to wrap her in, and of course we didn't because we didn't know what to do.She walks back in her house in the dark and cold and grabs a blanket for my cat. She gentle transfers her over, and what broke my heart and made me trust her was that she was talking to my cat and complimenting her the whole time. She was also saying her goodbyes to this cat she's only met after she passed. It was something I didn't know I needed and made me trust her.Although part of me is skeptical, since I don't see it with my own eyes and she is not our regular vet, I want you trust that the doctor is following through with what she said.

Capri Cellars
88 Front St S, IssaquahWhen you're invited for a glass of wine you say yes please. What a cute spot to have a glass of wine. Super friendly service and loads of wine to choose from. I had a rose from France that had a lovely fruity flavor. Served in a chilled glass and voila! Happy Friday. They have various wine club options too and light bites. I noticed cider and beer on the menu for those non wine drinkers. Next time perhaps I'll enjoy snacks too. Worth the visit if you're in Issaquah. SYOY.

Sip Restaurant and Wine Bar
1084 NE Park Dr, IssaquahGracious hosts! Just stopped for a glass of vino rosso which satisfies so well, then went with recommended fettuccine, al dente, sauce both fresh and depth of flavor, spice got my attention but didn't overpower, portion size a bit larger than expected but none left to take home! Returning soon!
Update: always a decision whether to enjoy it all now, or take home for a delicious snack later; either way is good!

Paseo Issaquah
6160 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, IssaquahCame here after hiking Rattlesnake Ledge and definitely re-gained all the calories I had lost. Worth it though! I ordered the pork sandwich which was super juicy and tasty but incredibly hard to eat. I ended up finishing with a mountain of napkins on my table and having to use a fork to finish the food. Service and ambiance were great and I highly recommend giving it a try since it is unique.

Las Margaritas
59 Front St N, IssaquahCame during Salmon Days. I was able to get a seat in the bar. Good food and I could watch the game. Had a seafood enchilada and a man at another table had a meat burrito. Lady from kitchen bringing out food did not seem to know whose dish was whose. Not sure why or if it marked tables on receipt. Luckily, Sergio our server caught the error before we took bites. Rice and beans good along with enchilada. Cabbage made no sense.

Masa Mexican Kitchen & Cantina
317 NW Gilman Blvd #31a, IssaquahTex Mex more than "authentic" and a bit overpriced. However, there's not a lot of options in Issaquah for good Mexican food with great ambience. Their food is also HUGE so you do get your money's worth. This is a great place for casual dates and their chips and salsa are amazing!

Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria
715 NW Gilman Blvd, IssaquahFood is exceptional! I love their lasagna, pizzas, salads, and calamari. Service and ambiance are great. Good for a special occasion. Very clean and well run, I've been going for years. Only complaint is prices have risen quite a bit so I only go a few times a year now.
