This is a pretty good foodshelf. You are able to "shop" for your food, which is nice because then you can get stuff you and your family actually need and will eat. The staff is really nice. I missed the coat drive I was going to go to for a heavy coat so I only had a thin one and it is starting to get really cold at nights. I asked if they had any winter coats by chance for me & my fiance. They gave us each a nice, brand new, really warm winter coat and a few pairs of thick wool socks, mittens, hats, tons of hand warmer packages and a pretty, warm & soft blanket (my new favorite blanket?).

The staff here are not handling matters wisely in my opinion. I've had two different Incidents with racist people in the line while waiting to shop and both times the staff did a poor job at handling the issue.

The volunteers here are wonderful as well as the people who work here. If you live in the zip code this is a very nice community resource. My kids really appreciated their time with Sam and Bonnie coloring and making snowflakes while I spoke with other staff about holiday programs. Super nice people.
