A beautifully magical, breathtaking backdrop. Incredible food. Wonderful day-of event staff. The venue embodied these qualities on the day of the most memorable day of our lives, all qualities to expect in a highly ranked, new property that celebrates the union of two people for life (or work gatherings, social events, etc).
But, leading up to the day of, we’d like to share our constructive feedback with the aim that it will help improve the experience for all future events, organizers, hosts and guests.
The Sales and Event Coordination teams created stress, problems, inconsistencies and frustration constantly. Their general lack of property knowledge, inability to express empathy or compassion, and incredible ability to say “No”, and to change agreed upon terms was impressively appalling. Our site tours were led by someone that couldn’t express personality, excitement or enthusiasm (she was our Event Lead).
Let us preface our review by stating that we have prior experience in Event and Wedding Planning as a profession, and we completely understand that things come with a cost. What we were routinely blown away by was the complete lack of personal engagement we received from the staff.
Take, for example, the event space and tents. For a venue in the Pacific Northwest, prone to rainy and wet conditions, the property had no solutions - their event space didn’t have walls, We were promised they were working on it, until we were told we’d have to rent these (and pay for install) from a third party vendor. It wasn’t until our final walk-through that the staff said they installed their own walls, with heaters. But, Fox Hollow left an installation charge (of several thousand dollars) on our invoice that we caught after getting written confirmation that the walls were installed and up for the season, at no charge to us. We then were told days out that they did not in-fact have heaters (even though they charged us for them on our invoice) and we’d have to scramble to get them from another vendor. If we hadn’t asked one final time to confirm, we would’ve shown up expecting heaters, and had none, despite this confirmation in writing. It’s hard to express the months of inconsistent communication we had on this topic in a paragraph - but suffice it to say, the staff needs to improve their communication and their internal training, knowledge and understanding of what the property they are selling has, and can accommodate.
Further, the concrete floor in the reception tent is not level, and is surrounded by dirt that quickly became mud on the day of our event. We had standing water everywhere at our tables, food stations and dance floor, an obvious safety hazard and not what you pay tens of thousands of dollars for (bridal and guest dresses were soaked up to knees by simply walking around on the concrete floor). The site isn’t properly equipped with lighting along the walkways or near the Manor house, which led to one of our guests slipping and breaking his arm - not the experience you want for any of your guests.
Wedding venues and the event staff should be gleaming with excitement to sell the opportunity to share their property with you. The Event Staff certainly does not do this. We viewed ourselves as only inconveniences to the Event Staff. We sincerely hope this review highlights opportunities for improvement, to focus in on customer service skills, hone in on property training, consistent communication, and above all else - property safety. Standing water and lighting absolutely need to be solved before anyone confirms this venue for their special day. We’d be happy to discuss this with Landmark Events Management in further detail with the hope that our constructive feedback is received and heard - something that the Event Coordination Teams have difficulty in executing on.

Do NOT use this venue. I'm giving a five star review because it appears they filter out bad reviews. During our family member's wedding last night. 5 cars were broken into and later they went into the basement of manor of the venue, and took all the bridesmaids purses. This is clearly an insider job. And this is not the first time it has happened. Be warned and stay away

*****WARNING*****
Look at the photo of my Tundra truck at FOX HOLLOW FARM
You can see my damaged Tundra in the King 5 news video report about FOX HOLLOW FARM in Issaquah if you Google
3 thefts reported at same king county wedding venue king5
THIS HAPPENED AT FOX HOLLOW FARM, Issaquah, WA, while I was supposed to be celebrating my niece’s wedding.
There were SMASH and GRABS on 5 other vehicles before the thieves sped away.
Later, the thieves returned to steal the bridesmaids’ purses!!!
This has happened 3 times in less than 2 months.
Fox Hollow Farm is diabolical and they care more about $$$MONEY$$$ than providing security at their venue.
At a bare minimum, we should have been informed by Fox Hollow Farm that Fox Hollow Farm is a TARGET FOR THIEVES!!! Of course they would never tell us that because they VALUE $$$MONEY$$$$ MORE THAN THE SECURITY OF THEIR GUESTS

I better change this to 5 stars so they don't hide or remove my negative comments regarding the COUNTLESS BREAK INS of SEVERAL brides guests.
I'm not even getting married but I wouldn't even try to get married here. The fact that they don't protect their brides from such a disaster on the day they spent THOUSANDS on is ridiculous. They should refund every bride that had their guests vehicles broken into. To still take their money after such a travesty is absurd.

Do not choose this venue! I attended a wedding here recently, and several cars had their windows smashed and belongings stolen. Additionally, someone ENTERED THE HOUSE and took all the bridesmaids' purses, leaving them without IDs, credit cards, or other valuables. Those cards were charged later that night, so instead of celebrating the newlyweds, everyone was on the phone with their banks. The venue showed no concern for what happened. We also discovered that this isn't the first time this has occurred; they have previously covered up similar incidents.

I have been coordinating weddings for the past few summers and just recently had my wedding at Fox Hollow this past August. Here is my honest review:
Pros: Fox Hollow is undoubtedly a beautiful venue! My guests thought the catering was great, there are various options for where you can host your events - very PNW vibe.
Cons: Management is poor. Having worked in the wedding industry I am aware of the prices you can expect in the venue space and what that entails. I would not say that the cost of this venue matched the level of service I would expect from management. Throughout the year I worked with various coordinators as they experienced turnover before I finally got someone for the long haul. She was great but then ended up not being the contact that was even on site during my wedding. I had never met nor spoken to the people that were handling my venue's logistics on the day of. When I signed my contract, I received a list of items that were available to use for my wedding on the day of and then throughout the year I was told "those aren't available anymore" or "no those aren't in good enough condition to use so they aren't available" or other excuses for why things weren't available and I now had to pay to rent. On my wedding day, several cars were broken into and my guests lost TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars from damage and theft. There are zero signs in the parking lot (which is a muddy mess where people were spinning out as they tried to leave), they have flood lights that were not turned on, no gate, no cameras, literally nothing being done to help prevent this from happening. Management knows it is a problem but hasn't acted whatsoever. In that vein, the night before my wedding I received a text from the venue that my reception space was flooded from the rain. I was told this is a known issue and happens all the time when it rains but nothing has been done to correct it. Mind you, it had been raining all week so I highly doubt the earliest they could've alerted me to the problem was 10:30pm the night before. I had been very understanding up to this point but this was my breaking point. After much back and forth, they figured out a way to make it work. This begs the question, did they even try to make it work before trying to make me change everything the night before my wedding? There are so many other little things - bartenders didn't use the custom drink hangers I paid for, we were told we were going to get a $500 fine for "outside alcohol" (it was the beer THEY provided us that they were threatening to fine us for), our wedding party never received the champagne we paid for in the suite, etc. but I can't list them all.
A few notes about logistics that are not necessarily the fault of the venue but you should be aware of as you plan things financially: 1. rentals have to be dropped off and picked up same day - this will cost you at LEAST $500 on top of the regular delivery fees and rental costs. I paid a $750 surcharge. 2. Rehearsal, if you want to do it on property, can only happen between 10am and 4pm Mon.- Thurs. We didn't want to ask our wedding party to take all of Thursday off as well so this wasn't an option for us but may not be an issue for others.
Overall: It is your wedding day and regardless of all of this it will be great. But I just truly believe that you deserve to know what to expect when you book a wedding venue and to be cautious when doing so. You signed a contract but so did they, keep that in mind!

DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE. Management does NOT care about you - the bride & groom - or your guests' safety & belongings. I recently attended a wedding at this venue, and it was a disaster from a safety standpoint. In the middle of the ceremony, five cars were broken into, and later that night, the bridal suite was broken into as well - purses, phones, IDs, wallets, you name it, they stole it - What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of security—there was only one security guard, and he didn’t show up until after the ceremony had started, and obviously did nothing to stop the break in at the bridal suite. To top it off, there were no security cameras anywhere on the property.
The timing of these break-ins seemed almost too perfect, leading many of us to question if it could have even been an inside job. It was shocking, and I can’t imagine how TERRIFYING it must have been for the couple and their families.
This venue is clearly not prepared to host weddings or any event of this scale if they can’t even ensure basic security for their guests. It’s beyond unacceptable for a place that’s supposed to host one of the most important days of a couple's life.
If they can’t guarantee the safety of your guests or belongings, how can you trust them with your special day? DO NOT book your wedding here—the management should be ashamed of how they handled this. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, your GUESTS, or your EVENT.

So… I was gonna wait till after my honeymoon to write something but it seems like it’s happening every weekend. It made me very frustrated and upset to know we paid a big sum of money for this gorgeous venue, the least we could’ve expected was the safety of our guests. There were many things that went wrong the day of my wedding but this was the cherry on top and was the most frustrating. We had over $10,000 worth of items stolen from my vendors and guests. The funny part is this isn’t the first time it’s happened and they didn’t warn us or take extra precautions to prevent this from happening again. They actually told a previous bride who’s also experienced this at her wedding prior that they’d hire security and make sure it doesn’t happen again. So they had a security guy there but apparently it was his 3rd day on the job. And the crazy part is that he came out AFTER the robbery happened and everyone was out with flashlights looking around. VERY SUSPICIOUS. They also didn’t allow us to open the main entrance which made my vendors walk much further which gave the people behind this more time to snoop around cars. They knew who to target. (Hence the suspicion that this is organized; wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an inside job)
This is embarrassing. I'm so embarrassed that I booked this venue and I'm having guests call me saying stuff went missing.
All my bridal party and family and me and my husband spent my wedding night stressed out because my guest had her passport missing.
If this is something that happened before you should've told us at the very least to keep an eye out for this or let guests know to make sure cars are locked; you should have provided a security on the parking lot to prevent this.
As gorgeous as this venue is the management is horrible. I would not recommend. We also had a lot of miscommunication between the venue coordinators. I was working with Mao and she left to a different position and switched me over to Colby and then the morning of my wedding I was working with a completely different person (Lauren I believe). I arrive at 10am and NOTHING was setup. They blamed it on “miscommunication” .. lol obviously when you’re working with 10 different people and no one knows what’s going on there’s miscommunication. We also fell short on appetizers, many guests did not get to try even one. We ordered 320 of each but the lady with dark curly hair told my guests on several different occasions that there was only 320 total???? That’s crazy because we paid about $9,000 for this. Just a scam in general. Would not recommend. Save yourself the stress!!!

Do not use this venue! . While at a wedding last night (10/12/24) several cars were broken into during the ceremony. As if that wasn’t enough the bridal suite was robbed and bridesmaids purses were stolen. When it was brought up to staff and the coordinator it was discovered there is a history of break-ins and thefts at this venue. This was never disclosed.

Please do your self a service and DO NOT get married at this venue. One of my closest friends got married there last night, October 12th. The venue itself is absolutley stunning and it was her dream venue. Multiple times throughout the day, I asked her how she picked such a perfect day because you could not ask for better weather in October on the west side. Her perfect day was very quickly ruined when at least 5 cars got their windows smashed in and belongings stollen, perfectly timed to be during the ceremony and later in the evening (again perfectly timed to be when no one was around, busy eating dinner at the reception) 6+ purses with everything in them (credit cards, ID’s, keys) were stollen out of the bridal suite in the house. (where we were assured everything would be safe in the house) Thousands of dollars were spent off multiple people’s credit cards at nearby stores before people realized from getting unauthorized charge notifications. The groom suite was not touched so they obviously knew what they were doing. The venue tried saying this has never happened there before when there is literally reviews from a little over a month ago of the SAME situation and the independent coordinator that the bride hired, said it happened at the last wedding that she helped at this venue in August. So please, unless you’re ok with your dream wedding being ruined and you and your guests car windows being smashed and belongings stollen from the bridal suite, DO NOT host your wedding here!!!

I recently attended a wedding for my sweet cousin at this venue. The setting was stunning and picturesque, an ideal backdrop for the special day. However, security was clearly lacking, as at least four cars were broken into during the event. Even more distressing, thieves returned and managed to enter the manor, stealing seven out of ten bridesmaids' purses, along with the mother of the bride's purse. It's disheartening to see such a beautiful venue overshadowed by such negligence in ensuring guests' safety. I would not recommend using this venue for future weddings until significant improvements in security are made.

Save yourself so much time, emotional energy, and money by turning around now and choosing to get married somewhere else. My sweet cousins have spent many months getting every little detail ready for this wedding, and it’s permanently tainted due to, well, this venue.
While the venue is absolutely gorgeous, they did not disclose vital information about past break ins and blatantly lied to our families. During the ceremony multiple cars got their windows smashed and even more got rummaged through. Then while we were all at dinner, they went into the house itself and took several of our bridesmaids bags, purses, keys, and more.
Let me say that again, INTO THE HOUSE ITSELF. Pretty freaky right? They then proceeded to try and charge literal thousands of dollars at local stores and, in certain situations, got away with it before we knew what was going on. We received no support from the venue, we were lied too, the police didn’t help, and we lost precious pieces of our wedding celebration as a family.
I am so in shock of how well the venue hides their history of vandalism. Dig deep and do your research. Honestly, don’t even consider this venue an option. Not unless you want a tainted wedding memory and your entire bridal party on the phone with their banks when they could be celebrating and dancing with you. ?

TLDR: beautiful venue, good food, but absolutely WOULD NOT recommend getting married here due to management knowing about ongoing security issues with STEALING AND CAR BREAKINS and no measures to warn guests and they also have not taken steps to enhance security.
Someone broke into 5 cars during the ceremony and CAME BACK later during the reception in the WEDDING HOUSE to STEAL the wedding gifts and ransack the bridesmaids purses to then proceed to spend thousands at local stores. That means they came back!! Management did nothing to warn the guests about past reoccurring breakins. What you read about other reviews of organized crime is true with the way someone knew to come during times when everyone was grouped together. If I was part of management I would have extra lights in the parking lot, work with local police and set up cameras if this even happened once.
My fiance and I had toured this venue last spring as it was one of the seven venues we toured. Im so glad we passed on it!! For a 50k wedding in just the venue and catering alone (likely 100K+), the views do not justify the cost if you and your guests are not safe.

Disappointed and Concerned About Security at Fox Hollow Farms
We attended a wedding at Fox Hollow Farms, and our experience was overshadowed by multiple security issues. At 4 PM, during the ceremony, five cars were broken into in the parking lot. It was as if the perpetrators knew the perfect time to strike, and shockingly, there was no security presence at the time. A single security guard only showed up after the break-ins.
Later in the evening, during the reception, when all the guests were away from the house, someone broke into the bridal suite. They stole purses and backpacks belonging to the bridal party and left without a trace. Again, it seemed disturbingly coordinated, as if the thieves knew the exact moment to act.
What’s most concerning is that management appears fully aware of this ongoing issue but has done nothing to address it. No extra security measures were in place, and this left everyone feeling unsafe on what should have been a joyous occasion.
I would strongly advise future couples to think twice about hosting their wedding at Fox Hollow Farms unless these security concerns are addressed and the safety of guests is taken seriously.

BEWARE: Extreme risk of theft during weddings – do not book. We’re learning now that this venue was aware of the risk of theft from vehicles and from the bridal suite (because it has happened multiple times in 2024), and yet they never communicated these risks to our wedding party. The venue was responsible for providing security in the parking lot during the ceremony, but they didn’t have their security guard scheduled to arrive until an hour after the ceremony began (because it was still light out). During this time, at least 6 cars had their windows broken and were robbed.
Separately, the venue told the bridal party that our belongings would be safe in the bridal suite throughout the day. Later in the evening while everyone was in the reception area, robbers went through the bridal suite and stole several purses and wallets, including the IDs of people who needed to fly home the following day, and proceeded to spend thousands of dollars at nearby stores before we could cancel the cards.
The venue’s manager on site directly lied to us by telling us that this had never happened at Fox Hollow before. Our unaffiliated wedding coordinator was personally familiar with a similar situation in August. This venue costs over $40k and does not have a lit parking lot, no security cameras anywhere on the property, does not provide adequate security (one security guard in total for several acres of property), does not secure the bridal suite, and has not provided assistance after the fact.
The robbers somehow knew precisely when vehicles and the bridal suite would be most vulnerable, they gained access deep into the property to rob the bridal suite, and they made it out without being seen. Do not use this venue!
