I spoke on the phone with Benjamin and had by FAR the best experience I have ever had with any banking professional. I enjoyed how personable he was and happy to help me get a few things sorted. I’ve been using BECU for many years now and have been nothing but very happy with them for all this time.

A review of BECU in general, not this specific branch, as I was dealing with these incompetents over phone/chat and have no idea where they were located.
Went to sign up for Bill Pay in my online banking account, which at most banks takes a couple of clicks. Not at BECU. The signup form for some unfathomable reason does not allow spaces in the address field, so I decided to contact customer support to let them know of the issue instead of trying to work around it myself. The support person "Julie R." proceeds to replace all the Os in my address with zeros, changes my state of residence to WV without changing the zip code, and tells me to sign up like that. I question these changes because now the address is incorrect, but she tells me to, I quote, "Leave the address alone." So I click Continue as she told me to and get a predictable error message that the state doesn't match the zip, which I relay to "Julie R." After waiting an inordinate amount of time for her to reply, she finally comes back with this whopper: "After talking to Leadership, I have now locked you out of your online banking." This incompetent must have gone to her security team and told them that a client was trying to sign up with an invalid address (an invalid address that she herself created, mind you, and that I told her was incorrect). Now BECU expects me to prove that I am not a crook by jumping through random hoops, and after spending several hours on the phone and video chat with them today, my online account is still not reinstated. Spectacularly bad!

BECU is by far the worst banking institution I’ve ever dealt with. Their App sucks, and is way behind in terms of ease of use and features that other apps have its 2024 get with it. They make it nearly impossible to pay bills with external accounts. You have to sit on hold and go through the stupid automated phone system just to try and accomplish a simple task like paying on an account. Never get a live agent to talk to. Would give them 0 stars if I could. Thanks for making things inconvenient, also they always seem to have the most security compromises out of all credit unions and banks I’ve ever used. Do better BECU.

Arrived at 5.05pm, just wanted to get the cashier check, waited there almost 45 minutes just to get the cashier check, they were short of staff, only 3 staff members were working at the branch and one left at 5.35,not so happy with their services at this branch.

It's a credit union so they don't have some of the services a bank has. We have only use them for a couple months so we'll see how it goes so far we like what we see.

Worst experience ever. They don't deal with cash and it has taken us a lot of time and effort to just pay for things like a car loan. We're looking at paying off our car completely just so that we don't have to deal with BECU any more.

At BECU -- I met an angel today!!! Her name is Stephanie and she works at multiple BECUs!! She's a regional support consultant!! Seriously she's the sweetest, most caring and most understanding woman!!! Seriously you all should switch to BECU if you're at a different bank and you should all see Stephanie!! She made my day!!! She's absolutely amazing!!

I've had great experiences with BECU since joining in 2008. I prefer a credit union that supports its members rather than a big bank that focuses solely on profit.

I signed up a for secured loan credit card about a week ago and during the process there was a small miscommunication that resulted in me needing to come back to sort it out. Holly was very friendly and talked me through every question I had and was very patient. I left with my problem fixed and with a smile. Thanks Holly!

Absolutely no customer loyalty. After 15 years of banking with BECU I will no longer use them. They are NOT military friendly. They only choose to communicate via mail when important notices are given. Don’t bank here!

After being a very long time customer of BECU, I sadly have to say that I would not recommend getting a loan here. We had our original mortgage and a HELOC through BECU. Not one issue with any of that.When the HELOC expired in June, we decided to renew it. The whole process was awful. They asked for documents to support the loan. I brought them in to be scanned and they lost one of them. Went in a second time to have them scanned. Then we were told we had to talk with our lawyer about the property being in a trust. We did that and gave the information to the processor. Each time they asked for info, we gave it to them. Frankly, it seemed like the left hand never knew what the right hand was doing. Then we got an email saying everything was done and we made an appointment to sign. At the signing, they said we need to open an additional account for the "trust". We already had 2 checking and 3 savings accounts. We asked why one of those couldn't be reassigned to the "trust". Nope. No good reason. Just one more hassle for the customer. Someone needs to remind BECU that they make money on loans! They just lost one. We will go elsewhere. Not a good way to treat a long standing customer.
