Nice, very small little town and port on the Columbia River. Plenty of parking, a couple restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Restaurants may not be open much early in the week.

Poor little town that keeps trying. The waterfront port is nice , indeed of businesses. They have a Saturday market, and some fishermen sell from their boats. There is also live crab available about a block away, GREAT prices. Most happenings are over the weekends.

Decent place, ramp and parking is $10/day, so you would think the docks by the ramps would be in better shape, without some of dock half sunk and in the way. Live bait is a great, and a fuel dock right there. Pretty convenient place to launch if your heading out to the ocean for the day.

Love the port, especially on Saturday market days. Lots of shops, good eats and the location is a great place to relax, walk the pets, and enjoy the coastal weather.Definitely stop into the local artist shops! Some amazing work there. We’ve bought a couple original pieces from artists there.

We were in Ilwaco just in time for their Saturday Market, lots of good Booth and Vendors, however I was again surprised that the NW Fisheries didn't have more of a presence. There were several of the Fishing Charters with their doors open and some fish for sale, however there was no promotion of the Industry, nor any Coast Guard giving out Safety advice, both I felt should have been included.Still an enjoyable little walk and a way to spend a few hours. My Wife and I had a refreshing little Coffee lunch watching the Waterfront activities.I do recommend an Ilwaco visit to everyone.

It depends on what you're looking for, but I love this port year round. It's beautiful, in operation, quiet, small, plenty of cute businesses to explore and surrounding areas.
