i was originally quoted 1,450.00 give or take 20.00 by sorensens to replace wire harness and knock sensors(2 ea.). i was quoted the same by toyota puyallup for the same procedure. i agreed to have work done by sorensens because its close to my work. i informed sorensen that i suspected that only the wire harness needed replacing due to rodents chewing it. when i was quoted, i was told that the oem parts were expensive and thats why the cost was high. when i dropped my truck off an employee looked at my work order and commented that it showed 3.5 hrs labor. i was contacted by sorensens later that day and informed that in fact only the wire harness was damaged and did i want sensors replaced or not? i chose not to have those replaced and was told that my total would be reduced by 300-400 dollars for unused parts. when i picked up my truck the total was 1,350.00??? i was told it took longer than expected. i was not told how long it took, only that their quote allowed 2.5 hrs??? what happened to the 3.5 hours on work order??? when i paid my bill the comment was made that it was still less than my other quote by 100.00. was it, or would toyota have been less because they did not install 75% of the "expensive parts". bottom line is i'm glad my truck is fixed, but i was lied to by staff and overcharged for unused parts.

I had a part fall off my car from a poor job done at different shop, and they took my car in and fixed it the same day. Great customer service and they made sure I knew exactly what was going on with my car! Great shop and greater mechanics!

I submitted my vehicle for an oil change and two (intermediate) repairs. It took 8 hours for them to do an oil change, (*lie incoming*) tell me that my ONE headlight would cost me --$$900-- OR MORE to fix the wiring issue, and tell me my window needed a part. I picked my car up while the part for my window was ordered, and found that my hood release no longer works. I was told that it's not their fault, and it's at my cost to repair it. 'OK whatever I'll run a cable myself, parts already ordered thats d*** though'. I return, and pick up the car once the part for the window comes in and has been installed, and discover 3 sizeable gashes in the tint (and possibly glass) window. I physically brought it to their attention and without struggle they complimented an appointment at a company an hour away from my home to retint the window which I have to take time out of my schedule to attend. Essentially my car came back to me with just as many things wrong with it as I dropped it off with. Headlight that still doesn't work, my hood release is broken, and my $200 tint messed up. Use your own discretion.Edit: The mere fact that they're now lying and denying the damage they've done to my car to try to make themselves look better says everything. I was given one option by Trenton at the front desk, OUT OF TOWN for having their damage repaired. After I left this review letting everyone know EXACTLY what happened, not slamming the company or anything, this man called me and told me he was no longer going to pay for the damages he was responsible for.

We had an issue with another shop repair, a freeze plug replaced back in June, after three months of light usage. Water/coolant gushes out again in the area it was replaced. We called Graham Towing and they were very helpful with scheduling around the chaotic day for them. 100% accuracy for appointment for towing. Now we decided to repair the truck at Sorensens Automotive. They were able to expedite us on the schedule and were very receiving from our side and got us on the books. 10/10 recommend for all services.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I am very disappointed in this company. First off I HATE to leave a bad review but this was just wrong! The only reason I am leaving it at a 1 star is because he finally made it right. My husband took our Ford 350 (Diesel) truck to Sorensen's Automotive primarily because I wanted to use a local small business and they did have some good reviews. Well when we took the truck in, it was to replace the #4 fuel injector. We were quoted $1400, okay-lets do it! My husband stopped in to see how it was coming along because it was suppose to be done in a day or two. He was told by Steven (the mechanic) that he broke the screw inside the manifold while trying to take it off. ( I get that-things happen) Steven said the manifold would be under $200. Okay, good. My husband told him to make sure it is not jimmy rigged after he is done! Well duh, we want it back the way we dropped it off! So then they called my husband after 11 days of having our truck and told us the total now is $2710 (double)!!! I called them and asked for them to explain to me why? First Steven I talked to and he said that was for labor! Mind you it was for labor for something he broke! I said I am not okay with that. He passed me off to the GM (I think Tim) and he apologized for not telling us ahead of time that it would be double than the original quote. I told him that we felt that it was their responsibility to eat the labor cost. I agreed to pay for the part. I told him I wanted to do some checking around and I will call him right back. Well when I called back I now got Brent (the owner) he was very rude and told me that he was not comfortable talking to me since my husband was the one who he talked to. He tried to tell me that my husband knew it would cost that. Umm NO he did not!!! I finally told him I would pay for the manifold but I am not okay with paying for the labor since his mechanic broke it. He said well they break all the time. Umm, so if they break all the time why did not not take more precautions to make sure it did not break? Lubricant? Or tell us ahead of time that, that might happen, or could happen. He finally told me he would take off the labor but told us to never come back there again! Well duh, I would never come back there first off, but how rude to tell a customer to never come back!! Very bad business and customer service for causing this much drama over something they broke. Washington state law says that Autos shop cannot charge a customer more than 10% of the original quote without letting us know first! Which they did not!

Had turbo replaced on dodge 3500 , went on trip , turbo came loose from exhaust manifold , I had 10k mi put on trk since repair . No gasket was installed . Cost me 1100.00 to get this fixed over in idaho, my opinion turbo wasn't tighten correctly mecha ics fault , Sorenson owner wrote me a letter 30 day warranty so due to mechanic doing lousy job I'm out 1100 $ . I'll find another shopService: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are the best in automotive service. After doing such a great job on my wife's Expedition that now handle's like new they didn't even went the extra mile on my 08 f450 Firestone diagnosed it twice and wanted to replace the whole a/c system for 2500. These guys found it was a broken wire plug tab. They found one at wrecking yard and replaced for 500. And made sure it's working correctly. Above my expectations Thank you so much!Great family automotive repair at a fair price!

These guys are the best. I asked to have both pinions replaced because I thought both were leaking. (old brain) Well they called and told me only one was leaking. They could have just replaced both and charged me for it but they didn't. Very honest outfit. I have taken my vehicle there a few times and always nice people to deal with.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The good people at Sorensen's Automotive put on a clinic on why you should always consider local small business when possible. The staff from the front office, the technicians, and the owner were all patient, kind, caring, and most importantly they are doing the job right. They offer a complete diagnostic for a reasonable fee and will provide you a *detailed* estimate before starting repairs. No surprises here. Strongly recommend you give these folks your business before considering 'bigger' shops elsewhere.Service: Engine repair

They didn’t even do a diagnostic test before working on my 2012 Hyundai Accent, they went off the word of someone who wasn’t even a mechanic. Assumed it was my timing chain causing the misfire. So they put a new one in and it wasn’t even the problem with the car. After they put the timing chain on they than did a diagnostic test and it turned out it was a fouled out spark plug. So what was a 7-8 dollar fix they charged me $1200 for a timing chain I didn’t even need.Service: Auto maintenance
