Emplyee was incompetent, Autozone also has the wrong parts for the car.
I ordered pads for a 2020 Kia Forte GT, i bought this car brand new, and its the first pad/rotor change. Per the autozone website they fit.......got the brakes off they def did not fit... the pads from duralast were 3 to 4mm shorter then OEM and looked completely different.
I went to this autozone to get new pads, and the employee tried giving me the same pads. Because those are the pads that show up in their computer. I asked if they had a different manufacturer in stock... i was told the part number was the same for all their brake pads..... That didnt answer my question. I asked again, and was then told that either i had the wrong year or my car was not a GT, still didnt answer my question....I bought my car new and i do the work on my cars.... i know what i have. Went across the street to O Rileys and got the correct pads with no issue.
Will not come back.
My Guess is the pads autozone sells are for the standard Kia Forte....not the Higher GT trim. Either way, not going to order from autozone again. Cant trust em and i wasted an hour driving to try to find the right parts.

Thank God it was open!
I just had a super scary moment where I was driving and I heard a clunk and my brakes weren’t working well.
Good thing i was in a neighborhood and not in a highway and there was no one in front of me because I would have definitely hit them. I had to use my hand brake to brake.
I found a safe spot and jacked my car up and checked the front brakes.
My driver side brakes was missing one brake pad, my passenger side was fine.
I slowly and safely drove to Autozone and got some parts. I asked the guy if I can go work on my car on their lot since driving like this would be hazardous and it was ok.
So i worked on my car and found that one of the caliper pistons locked up from lack of grease and that’s probably why the brake pad just came off. I cleaned and greased them and changed all the front brakes. Tested it and drove back home.

Came in to return some parts, and their hub driver noticed that my car was smoking, wasn't doing that before, Justin came out and helped disconnected everything and found the culprit, I had gotten my oil change earlier that day and they left a rag in there and it caught on fire. Justin thank you so much for helping me and putting out the fire and also getting it out of the fan! You are a rockstar!!

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else, the people that work in this store are as brain dead as they come! Customer service is definitely not a strong point here.

On 8/13/2023, I drove from Mt. Rainier back to home with my family. My car warned that the engine oil is nearly used up. I found this AutoZone shop and bought a quart of engine oil. I am lucky because I was the last client that day. Otherwise, my car might suffer big trouble if we continue driving without engine oil. They closed the door after we left.Suddenly, my 13 year old son felt very sick in his belly, he wanted to go to restroom, he nearly lost consciousness due to belly pain. We went back and knocked the door for help. It was off time. But the staff reopened the door, and guided my son to their restroom. Finally my son felt better. I wanted to pay the staff for his time and kind help. But he refused. I appreciate all his kindness. I like the shop

Craig was so helpful! Going anywhere with a toddler is hard enough but he looked up everything I needed in a timely manner, and even went off and grabbed it all off the floor for me. Truly don’t know how much I appreciate that. I made the visit so quick and easy 10 out of 10 highly recommend going here ask for Craig was life saver for this mama .
