We had a fantastic experience on the Skykomish with Aloine Adventures. Our tour guide Nate was a gracious host and confident guide as we tackled the rapids. This operation ran smoothly, and they delivered a great experience. I’d raft with them again, in this river or another one. Truly a great experience I’d recommend!

Nice trip on the Skagit river. Very scenic beautiful glacier blue water. Nice trio of class 3 rapids near the end. Guides and service were great. Easy to book online.

Another amazing experience on the skykomish river with this company!! It was a wet and rainy day but with under layers, provided wetsuits, and jackets, it was still very warm! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a experienced guide.

These guys are great, Cody our guide was hilarious, we didn’t stop laughing from the time we got in the van for the safety briefing. Very knowledgeable and professional first and foremost. River was so much fun, albeit cold for us Florida folk lol. Highly recommend Alpine Adventures and would ride with them again next time we are in this beautiful area!! Thanks for a great time Cody!! 10000% if you have the opportunity to do this! DO IT!!! Alpine adventures was amazing! When we arrived the guides were able to wrangle 36 people like pros and get everyone set up with all their gear and go over safety. They immediately started trying to get to know us by name and make sure everyone was up to speed. All of the wetsuits, helmets and jackets were in really good condition too!
Michelle (one of the guides) even gave me an under garment to help me stay warm under my splash jacket which was super sweet!
Our guide was Derik, he was knowledgeable about the water levels and nature/ all things safety and navigating the rapids. He was funny and kind and got our team laughing and sharing stories out on the water. I introduced myself as “Scared Chelsea” and he ran with it ! He kept an eye on me the entire trip and made me feel extremely safe.
They give you an option to skip the category 5 rapids, but our entire raft went for it! Derik was so stoked and proud of us for facing our fears and we killed it !!
The trip was about 2 hours on the water, 38 degree water, a good amount/mix of different category rapids, with a little rain and a little sunshine. The snow capped mountains and surrounding forest was breathtaking. We even saw an eagle which was so cool!
Near the end, I got pretty cold. I was shivering like crazy and Derik had me do some extra paddling to keep me moving and keep warm. He then gave me his personal beanie during the car ride back to camp. Michelle said it was a “special beanie”. it was honestly so sweet that he cared so much and what a pleasure to be surrounded by these guides that really give it their all to help give you the best experience possible.
When you get back to camp you change into warm clothes and their photographer shares all these badass pictures she gets of you on the water. It was sincerely a 10/10 in every aspect. I am still on a high from this experience and can’t wait to do it again!

Had an awesome experience with Alpine adventures and our tour guide Michelle, she was supportive and calm and made sure we all had a blast! Even getting tipped over was fun haha. I loved it and definitely will be coming back again this summer. One side note, (that I don’t recall them mentioning) is to always have your feet down stream when you fall in, so that you’re not greeting rocks with your head, just a little amateur tip. Kind of like a sitting position.

Cannot recommend Alpine Adventures enough!! Their crew is all very friendly, knowledgeable, and works well together. They took our safety very seriously and we felt prepared to be out on the water. Our guide, Cody, was absolutely fantastic, and communicated with us well. Overall, a great time and a once in a lifetime experience!
