Showcase Cabinetry did an excellent job. We worked with Mike and his crew for a kitchen remodel. A schedule was created before the start date and followed through the end. His guys were professional and did nice work. So worth it to hire someone to take care of everything from start to finish. Will definitely use Showcase again if we do anymore remodeling. Loving our new kitchen.

Excellence from start to finish. We had a builder installed cabinet depth fridge next to a cabinet depth freezer. When the fridge began to die we decided to replace the two units with a single conventional fridge/freezer unit - and add cabinets to the empty space. The challenge was that they needed to match the existing cabinets so that it looked seamless. I found Showcase Cabinetry on the website of the cabinet manufacturer (Bellmont) and stopped in without an appointment to check them out.Mike greeted me and right away I knew I was in the right place. He answered all of my questions and gave me options - including less ambitious options. He never tried to upsell me, he just laid out a good list of options.Mike has a great relationship with Albert Lee Appliance and was able to refer us to a superb salesman who also answered all of our questions without trying to "gold plate" anything. Once we selected the unit Mike came out to take final measurements and we ordered our cabinets.Mike's installer (Bryon) was a master craftsman. It was evident watching him work that he takes pride in what he does -- and he was meticulous in alignment, leveling, and ensuring we were getting exactly what we wanted.Again, from design -- to coordination with other vendors -- to installation, it was exactly what we wanted. We have had Showcase do our kitchen remodel and bathroom remodel. Michael is a gifted designer and did a fantastic job! Our rooms went from old and outdated to a showplace. The quotes and timetable were met and everyone working on the jobs were professional and timely. The cabinets and other materials were high quality. Visited the showroom and scheduled a bid. Larry came out to the home and took measurements and then requested I email him so he had my contact information. He said he would get me a bid soon. Of course I gave him my name, phone number, address and email when I scheduled the bid. I emailed him the same day. I never heard from Larry so after about two weeks I emailed. No response. After another week I emailed onto the company website. The same day I decided to just try calling. Larry answered and he said he was working on it and hadn't gotten to it because he was busy. He was very nonchalant and non apologetic and then hung up. A few minutes later Mike called and asked about my email to the company website and asked if I had emailed Larry. I replied that I had a couple of times over several weeks and had no response so that is why I tried to contact him through the website. I explained to Mike that I had just spoken to Larry a few minutes earlier. I could then hear Larry speaking to Mike in the background. Mike then said "ok" and hung up. There was no apology for the delay, no timeline for when they would get my quote, nothing. Just hung up. I found them to be very rude and unprofessional. About an hour later Larry sent an email with a very rough draft of the kitchen and said my email ended up in his trash. Then his email said he would have a bid soon. I replied thank you and responded that I was looking forward to it. Of course I have not heard from him. I have not been treated this poorly in a very long time. I have to wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that my wife and I are Asian. Or maybe our kitchen and bath remodel wasn't worth their time? I guess a 6 figure remodel wasn't good enough for this company? Are they so busy that they couldn't give us a timeline? Are they so busy that they can't be professional? If they were so busy they couldn't take my business then they could have politely and professionally said they were too busy and declined my business. I did try to followup with another email and of course no response. It's been nearly 7 weeks so I have moved on. We are fairly new to the area and recently bought a vacation home so this was not a good first experience. Being a former U.S. Naval Officer and senior manager for several major companies I have always believed in treating people fairly and with respect regardless of ethnicity, position, gender, religion, and financial status. Maybe others have had a better experience but I certainly didn't. I have decided to do business with Gig Harbor Cabinets where they were extremely responsive and professional.

Mike Northover at Showcase did a complete home remodel for us in 2018. I was expecting to find something I would do differently or didn’t particularly like but I have not. I have a dream kitchen which is convenient in which to work and all beautiful pull outs for easy access to everything! The floating granite shelf in the entry amazes everyone who sees it and the fireplace is an eye opener. Mike spaced all the new lighting in the house for beauty and utility and took every tiny detail into consideration. The work schedule never varied over 3 days from the three month calendar he presented to us when we signed the contract and there were no hidden costs. His sense of placement, color, and purpose of the space is amazing. He is kind, patient, thoughtful, artistic, and honest to a fault. Thank you, Mike, for making my dreams come true!

I’ve used Showcase Cabinetry for two different remodeling projects... bathrooms/master closet and second time kitchen and laundry room.I can’t recommend them highly enough! It was a fantastic experience. Mike Northover ( owner) was great to work with. Project both started and was completed on promised date.Follow up customer service is exceptional.

We were recommended to use Showcase from our kitchen & bathroom designer, Scott Neste, when we were doing a major remodel of both rooms around 4 years’ ago on our over 100-year-old craftsman home in Tacoma, WA. I originally met with Mike, the owner of Showcase, at their designer showroom in Gig Harbor. Mike helped my husband & I select nice cabinets & cabinet hardware, along with granite countertops, at a reasonable price. Brian, Showcase’s main cabinet installer, is very nice & very good at what he does, & I have a new appreciation at how much work & effort goes into installing custom cabinets & countertops. So far, everything still looks very nice, & we are happy with the end result. There've been a couple of minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed since we had the original work done, & both Brian & Mike have been willing to come out & fix these at no additional cost, which we really appreciate. I highly recommend Mike & his Showcase Cabinetry business for all your cabinet & countertop design needs. Showcase’s showroom in Gig Harbor is well laid out & easy to find.
