Stopped in for a self-serve dog wash, and they were great! Supplied everything I needed and then some. Will definitely be back

Joie (the owner) is fantastic and we are so happy to know her. Her facility is very clean, our animals are always extremely well cared for, happy and smell great when we pick them up! Her staff is lovely and clearly care about all the animals. Our friends/family that have boarded with her have had the same positive experiences as us with a range from toy to large breeds. We have been clients of hers for several years and will continue to be. Our dogs are excited to be dropped off and happy to see us when they get picked up. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

We adopted a dog several years ago through Peninsula Pet Lodge. We had to have him euthanized recently due to poor health. Dr. Wempe brought him to PPL for cremation, and I am blown away. They did such a phenomenal and respectful job of remembering our Andy. Words can not describe the deep appreciation we have for both Dr. Wempe and Peninsula Pet Lodge. Thank you, from the Laxson Family.

Love this low key hidden spot. My dog practically jumps over me to get out and get in there!

Our dog is 15 years old and we have taken him her for years without major issues. We always pay extra for him to get a bath before he is picked up. However this time we did not pay for a bath because it was a shorter trip (only 2 nights). When I picked him up the entire underside of his body, including his feet, legs, tail, and and chest, we're covered in dried pee. It was caked on him and he smelled. The lady working and nothing to say about it. It took me 2 long washes to get it all out. Makes me wonder if this has happened before but we never knew because he got a bath before he came home.

Our small dog was killed by a Husky while staying at this pet lodge. No supervision while the dogs are in the play yard. Only one person managing 15 dogs. Neglectfully ran business. Very rude owner. I only wish I had read the reviews from Yelp...My dog could still be alive today! They should not be in business!!!

It may be an old building, but the gal at the Gig Harbor location was amazing. Friendly and attentive. My Carolina dog had a blast, but my Frenchie did not. Samantha was honest about his stay and we do not blame the Lodge for anything. French Bulldogs can be high maintenance. They had snow-cones and a party over the 4th of July. I feel like they truly cared for my pets.

Stopped in to see about boarding my dog while out of town . Almost threw up it smelled so bad. While touring the place . Bathing area for the dogs looked like something out of a horror movie. I couldn't imagine putting my dog in a place like this. Almost unbelievable they have clients. Should be shut down if your pet goes in healthy i would bet it doesnt walk out that way

The owner is so unbelievably rude. She argued that they did not have my leash, the helper went and brought me my leash to me. I told them to give my dog a treat which was $4.99, they gave my dog a treat everyday. My fault I didn't say only one treat in her three day stay. I told the owner not to give my dog a bath before leaving. The owner replied, good it's best if you bathe her. When it came time to pick her up the owner charged me for a bath. I had a bottle of shampoo from her inventory to purchase on the counter and questioned the high price of her visit. She backed the bath charge off when I told her I had the shampoo to purchase. She asked me if I wanted to donate to the "first pet" $3.00 , I told her no. She charged me anyway. She told me I didn't need puppy pads, she kept all I had brought. I had to ask for an itemized invoice because she only emailed me the total charged to my bank card. The invoice showed total was $121.03, my card was charged $129.03. I asked for a credit back on my card. She gas not replied or credited my account. I will give her until Friday to do so and if she doesn't I will file a dispute. I won't be taking my dog back because of her curt, rude attitude towards me and how she treated her helper. I can only imagine how my dog was treated, or not treated during her stay there in Ollala.

nightmare. they broke my elderly cats jaw back around 2018 and lied about it... Then claimed there was no record.
