“My first CrossFit gym ever and it is wonderful place to begin my journey!!! The staff and members are so welcoming. The coaches, Allie and Amanda, always calm my newbie nerves by taking the time to explain each exercise and give encouragement/feedback throughout the workout. The gym is very clean and the equipment is everything you need for a great workout. Definitely would recommend to others, even if you have never done CrossFit in the past!!!”

“Happy I found Waypoint last summer! I needed to get back into some sort of exercise routine, and they've helped me do just that. I have to say, it took me awhile to actually take the leap & reach out, but I'm so happy I did! All the coaches are awesome & motivating, and ensure you're doing moves correctly & at your level. The other gym-goers are also very friendly, and come from all different levels! You'll never feel alone or intimated at this gym! I've got a long way to go in my fitness journey, but I'm already feeling stronger and more confident each day! Thanks Waypoint for promoting such an awesome gym community!”

“This is the second year I paid for a temporary membership at Anytime Fitness in Gig Harbor because I was house and dog sitting for my son. It is an outstanding gym with an outstanding staff. The personal trainers here are among the best I have seen as I watched them work with others. I liked the large numbers of racks for squatting and benching, and ample floor space for using the sled, kettlebells, and dead lifting, and yes they have a traditional aerobics section with treadmills, bikes, and elipical machines. Plus 24 hour access. There was a wide age range working out and ability levels from beginners to professionals.”

“It's always nerve wracking to try out a new gym, new community, and new ways of moving. Am I actually going to get stronger? Will I know what's going on? Do they actually know what they're doing? Am I going to get injured? I visited better. gym from out of town and dang, I'm so sad I can't be part of this amazing community all the time. They've cultivated an incredible atmosphere, both welcoming and challenging. Susan cares so deeply about form, fun, and effort. You're gonna work and have an amazing time doing it. “I came to Crossfit GH nearly 10 years ago as an athlete without direction. It was my first year competing in the professional ranks as a Downhill Mountain biker and I was training like a total amateur. I reached out to David explaining my goals as an athlete and the sport-specific training needs that came with the rigors of Mountain Biking. He accepted me into his gym with open arms and accelerated my training beyond anything I had experienced. Breaking the mold was hard, but I soon learned accountability through my attendance and was given the mental strength needed for the challenging hurdles of my sport.Soon my results started to speak for the training as I secured podium finishes and solidified sponsorships that have lasted year after year. Since then I have not only found my place as a professional athlete, but have been given the leadership tools to start my own team and give back to riders who are starting their professional careers. I now manage 3 elite level riders under what is now one of the top Downhill programs in the Country. Success that I truly believe stemmed from my first meeting with David a decade ago.David has been more than just a coach to me. He is one of my greatest mentors and a dear friend.
