The brakes on the car are working fine. I appreciate the car wash and shuttle service. I believe from the research I did with your competitors, you overcharged me at least $200. I live in Gig Harbor in a tiny basement to be near my daughter and grandkids. I don't have a yacht or drive a Tesla and my income is from social security. This overcharge isn't appreciated and I will tell anyone who asks, don't go to Gig Harbor Automotive Service, they overcharge because most of their customers don't care if they pay too much, because they have lots of money.

Courtesy with a smile, follow up
and honest about cost. They offer ride back home and back to the shop. They diagnosed my Lexus and found everything in order. I appreciate the honesty, what do I know about car maintenance? I highly recommend Gig Harbor Automotive Service.

GHA is great? They email photos and a complete breakdown of the work done, before you pick up the car. So professional. The staff is always friendly and courteous, the shuttle service is so convenient. Yes, they are highly recommended!!

Our family is the original owner of an older Land Cruiser and so it has sentimental value. I recently went to get a brake inspection and service. That was pretty standard.
What I was very happy about was the overall report of the car that they provided. They had mentioned that some drive belts were loose and should be tightened. As we talked it over, they mentioned that it most likely is the cause of a squealing sound I would hear intermittently. When I brought up the same issue about the serpentine belt with another shop, they were attempting to get me to replace an entire unit for over 2k. I'm very happy that the service team here was able to address my concern and serviced it properly.
At the other shop, I was told that the plastic light lenses were so old and brittle that I needed to buy new lenses before they would replace the burnt-out bulbs. This team replaced all the bulbs without an issue.
Thank you Gig Harbor Auto, I've finally found a shop that we could trust with our old Land Cruiser with.

The business continues to exceed all expectations of fairness honest and integrity. Fair prices and amazing service. They are busy so book early and book 2 appointments in advance. Worth the time!

Update: these guys are continuing to knock it out of the park. I cannot tell you how great it is to have an honest business dealing feeling like I always get the best end of the deal. The business is AWSOME!
I will only take my cars to this shop. They are 100% honest. RARE. The shop is clean and incredibly professional. The customer service is a top 2 % or top 1%. I am sure they have problems but I have not found it. High Quality!
This is a Veteran recommendation. They will not screw you over ever. And they are upfront about costs. 100%.

My story: I have a Mini Cooper that was hit by a drunk driver and repaired by A large business. I was frauded and they helped me to get the entire situation fixed.
My car was having issues and I stopped in and had them take a look.
Not my first time as this shop is completely built around integrity and high quality work. VERY RARE.
They notified me that the car was put back together with old broken parts that had been claimed new. They glued them together and charged for new parts.
This shop worked with me to get it repaired and squared away with the insurance as a result of fraudulent work.

My truck had to be towed to them. It was fixed promptly but on my paperwork they said I needed an oil change and I was a quart and a half low on oil. That's weird because I had my oil changed 3 days prior to my truck being in their shop. And when I took it into Jiffy lube to check to see if the oil was low, it was not!!! I don't feel comfortable taking my truck there again and because I feel like they weren't honest about my oil level and oil change. Then I did some checking and they charged me almost double what I would have paid elsewhere for a fuel pump. I paid over 1700.00 for a new fuel pump and filter!!!! I do not recommend them!

The Service Manager was phenomenal and attentive throughout the entire process of getting service on my Chrysler. The prices are very reasonable and the service to my vehicle was on point. They even vacuumed the inside and wiped down the dash and accessories. I was very pleasantly surprised by the extra touch given to my service. I will most definitely be returning for additional services as needed. Thanks for being a staple in our community!

I made an appointment with Gig Harbor Automotive Service after having a terrible experience at the Gig Harbor Jiffy Lube location. The experience with Gig Harbor Automotive was great from beginning to end. The workers were happy and well-versed in their line of work. It seems ridiculous to me now that I hesitated to act sooner and go with a locally owned small business!
