I would recommend this shop. The owner Mr. Michael is very nice, friendly and super helpful. He gave me a good appraise of my jewelries. I would come back here if I want to buy or sell jewelries again.

I had to have my ring cut off because a diamond came out and it no longer would fit over my knuckle. I called to see if I could have it done there, but had to leave a message on voice mail. The owner did call me back in a timely manner though and I'm so glad that he did! He was able to cut my ring off at no charge, and he was a wealth of information about how it can be repaired. He even puts images of your jewelry on a big screen so that you can see what he is talking about. He gives every customer all the time they need. I am still mulling all the information over, but I know where all my jewelry will be going when any repairs are needed from now on. He also has a nice selection of jewelry in the store and for very fair prices.

We had a few vintage pieces that we needed to decide what to do with and made an appointment with Clark's based on the good reviews I found. Michael gave us the dismal news that the items needed work and had little value overall, seeming sad to express this while showing us the magnified images, explaining repair processes and educating us on how the whole process works. Although we did not come away glowing with the knowledge that we possess a fortune in family heirlooms, the session was worthwhile and I would have to say the professionalism, honesty and integrity is certainly there with Michael. I would definitely return if we needed to purchase or repair something!

Just popped in to get a pendant my mom gave me mounted on a chain. Per usual Mike is his pleasant, easy going self, and put it together in no time flat. It was a small job, but nonetheless done with the greatest of care. I love this place! They always make you feel better than when you walked in. This is definitely the go to jewelry store in Gig Harbor. Pay them a visit!

I was putting off taking my wedding in for soldering and new layer of rhodium for many years. I found this jeweler online and gave them a try. Because I have ignored bringing my ring in for so long, I wasn't surprised that it needed some prongs replaced on the small stones in my band. Michael put my ring under a microscope and showed me the ring. He pointed out that one of the prongs on the large stone was severely worn and the others looked very worn too. He recommended considering a repair to the head before I lost my primary diamond. I didn't feel pressured at all to have the work done and he allowed me to ask many questions and consider my options. My final decision was to replace the entire head and move from a 4-prong to a 6-prong setting. I am so happy with the repair and my chosen upgrade to the head to keep my ring safe! The 6-prong setting is spectacular; my ring looks better than ever and I am so happy!

I am big supporter of local businesses and I really didn't want to write this review but this has been the WORST experience with a jeweler. I went to Clark's to have my 3 ring wedding set sized up. First red flag - they don't have a jeweler onsite and send it off. So basically they are the middle man and you will get charged more. Michael (the owner) measured my finger and sent off my rings. He called the day it was due to say that his goldsmith was backed up and it would take 4 more days. When I went to get them- 2 of them fit but the 3rd wouldn't. He then re-measured and sent off the last ring - quoted me a week. Surprise surprise - texts me the day it's due that his goldsmith is running behind and will be delayed 4 more days. I take my husband with me this time (because I feel taken advantage off) and the ring STILL doesn't fit! Michael then dismisses me and tells my husband that I chose that ring size and that it's my fault it won't fit - maybe I had eaten something salty...I was in tears. He also made a snide comment about how he was losing money on my rings. How is that my fault - I didn't quote myself the price, PLUS I had to pay extra each time it got sent back to the goldsmith! At this point we were a month without my ring and already had spent hundreds. We had Michael measure my ring size and 'stand by the size'. My husband picked up my ring their next business day (I refused to step foot in that store) and my ring is too big - he purposely made it too big now.Don't waste your money, time and energy with this 'middle man' and unscrupulous business.

Had Mike take a look at a piece of art (putter) I had. He took the time to see what was wrong and clean it for me. I was totally upset it couldn't be fixed but he did it for me. There still is customer service and Clark's is living proof of that. Not the first time using them, they sold me my wives wedding ring. Promise you it won't be the last. Keep up the good work. Customer Service does matter that is why you go to Clark's Jewelry.

10/10 would recommend and will be returning. Nice display and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I went in to get a ring fixed and the gentleman had no issues helping me and fixing my ring (it was terrible misshaped prior to going in). This ring means a lot to me, so it was hard to hand it over to someone. I chose this location due to the great things I have heard and I am so glad I did. Will definitely be back to look purchase a piece that caught my eye.

Been here twice asking for assistance with my watches and they were happy to help. I walked in with no appointment and was instantly assisted. They seem very straightforward and trustworthy. It’s nice to have a local place with knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices.

I recently took my almost 25 year old wedding set in for a repair. Being new to the area I wasn’t sure what jeweler I should go to so with the recommendation from some new friends I chose Clark’s Jewelers. I met with Michael who looked over my ring and then gave me an explanation of what would need to be done along with the cost estimate and anticipated length of time it would take to complete the repair. He was spot on as to the length of time for the repair. While it cost just a little more than the original estimate I was fine with that because all the prongs needed to be built back up to better secure the main diamond. When I picked up my ring I only did a quick glance at it because I was in a hurry and everything looked fine. When I got back to my office I looked at the ring more closely. That’s when it almost took my breath away. The ring looked brand new!! The gold portions of the ring no longer had any scratches from the many years of normal wear and the diamonds had tremendous sparkle and were well secured in the setting - it looked flawless. Needless to say I am ecstatic with the result. Michael and his goldsmith did a phenomenal job and I am so happy to say that I now have a local jeweler who will take care of any jewelry I bring to him. I can’t recommend Clark’s Jewelers enough. In my opinion they are the Best of the Best!

Michael did a fantastic job re-sizing my wife's wedding ring. While there, I also purchased another ring as their prices are well in line with what I was looking to spend. If you want Great Friendly Service at a reasonable price with quality craftsmanship I highly recommend Clarks.
