Zero stars. I had a fraudulent purchase on my debit card. I was notified by the bank and called into submit a claim. Went through the process of setting up a new online ID and Password as requested by the bank. Three weeks later they deny the claim stating they couldn't prove I did not make the purchase. I have been a customer for over 20 years with Chase. It is unfathomable to me for this lack of support from the bank. They flagged the purchase, I took the necessary steps to remedy the claim and now they are reversing course and denying the claim. I called the fraud department and got no help what so ever. This is sad, the online banking has been great, but this lack of support has pushed me to find a new bank. Absolutely terrible customer service. Don't waste your time with Chase, they are a giant corporation who has zero appreciation for loyalty.

Horrible experience. Don't die and leave your money at Chase. I am the Executor of an Estate and they will hold your money indefinitely in the "Deceased Department" for many weeks even after presenting the Death Certificate, Letters of Testamentary and proper ID. They also refuse to pay interest during their self imposed delays. I have filed a formal complaint the the Attorney General. Other financial institutions are not like this and I have worked with many lately. RUN FROM CHASE BEFORE YOU DIE.LOCAL BRANCH LACKS EXPERIENCE WITH ESTATE WORK AND IS NO HELP.

My latest dealings with Chase involve an Estate. They are making closing an account and receiving funds very difficult and long delays. This is a large account and the interest loss is significant, over $100/day. You would think I was dealing the the BANK OF THE TALIBAN... Finally I filed a complaint with the Attorney General charging Chase with Financial Elder Abuse. They are bureaucratic institution, STAY AWAY.

I have been a Chase customer for over 10 years. This weekend I was scammed when someone fraudulently transferred $1365 from me into another account using my phone number and bank account. I went in to see a banker yesterday because I had only spoke with Chase fraud on the phone. He literally told me “sorry that happened to you” and “good luck to you”. He downplayed the entire situation as if I was unnecessarily stirred. No one offered to close that account and open a new one. The bank never reimbursed me, despite several Chase employees agreeing that the charges were fraudulent. No one even offered to freeze my credit. I am so upset with this bank and I feel absolutely violated. I would never trust Chase. Go to Bank of America, at least they will take care of their members.

Not personal at all. I was just directed to an ATM in the lobby. Everyone acts like they are busy when they aren't. It's very noticeable. From the parking lot, you can see everyone just chatting. When I walked in, everyone acted like they were now so busy and sacrificed a personal interaction. Why have so many people at the branch when they'll only direct you to an ATM.

I've been a Private Banking client for about 20 years and totally happy with the folks at our local Chase, however, try calling your branch. Chase touts it's great customer service (it not) but they don't want to make communications easy for their customers or simply answer their phone. If it weren't for the people at my local branches in Gig Harbor I would avoid Chase. I also was given a document to sign for my investment accounts that was about 350 pages of fine print - I don't know anyone who would ever read something like that and then sign it if they had any brains at all. It was insulting.I would give Chase zero stars but for the good people that work there (they get 5 stars).

While I am upset that Chase put my $500 check on hold for 8 MONTHS, I will say that Patrick should be given a raise! He helped me get my money back- something that the staff at the Borgan Blvd location seemed to find too difficult. He actually did what the staff at Borgan failed to do for 8 months in a matter of a few minutes. Overall, Chase is still awful and I’ll never bank with them again but this branch was helpful.

The branch manager is rarely available. Must be a free for all and defense mechanism their employees get trained to tell customers when their issue can only be reviewed by the branch manager. ……. Yep you guessed it the manager wasn’t available and only available to discuss in 4-6 days (not a holiday weekend) although the account issue is happening today.

I will have to vote with the horrible service crowd. I went to the branch to clear up a problem. They gave me a number to call in the PHILLIPINES! BUT WAIT: when I got home and called, they told me to go to my local branch! You can't make this stuff up.

This review is for Chase Bank on Borgen in Gig Harbor. This is a horrible, bait and switch bank. We were persuaded to deposit a certain amount of money in a savings account in order to gain a bonus. So we did that, waited the 3 month period to qualify for it, and surprise! The rules had suddenly changed, it was not going to happen. This despite the banker, Christopher, telling us in writing that we would qualify. And the manager calling me to explain why not, as if I wanted to sit through a made up excuse. I feel like there was no way they ever planned to pay the bonus amount, that there would always be some reason why not. What a joke. Never bank with Chase! Try a credit union.

I went to make a payment with cash and my statement. They refused to take my money as I did not have my ID with me. What's wrong with cash.

Since moving to this area I've had to visit the bank on multiple occasions to speak with bankers and I've had consistently positive experiences. From pulling up old banking records and wiring money to having temporary checks printed and asking general questions; I've only been met with helpful service.
